Authentic Victorian Era Antique Miniature Oil Lamp 6 1/2" Tall Great Condition
I will be listing more items of milk glass from the same estate collection. If you find more than one item you like. I'll happily combine shipping. This is a very pretty little oil lamp. It has the top. That screws down into the base. It has brass metal hardware, a milk glass base, and a clear glass chimney which looks and fits like it may be original to the lamp. The milk glass is very good condition with no damage. The only issue the oil lamp has is paint loss where the raised areas once were painted. There is no maker mark or mold mark on the glass and no marks on the brass. It stands approx. 6 1/2 inches tall to the top of the chimney. If I have omitted any information, please send questions and I'll do my best to get you an answer.

Fabulous! This is a very rare. Antique spelter figural miniature oil lamp in Frankart style. Dating to the early 1900s, this beautiful lamp features 3 female figures mounted on beautiful marble. The figures are spelter with the two side nude figures in a silvered bronze finish. The center figure is an exceptional design. She is a fortune teller or genie, holding an Aladdin lamp. This figure is painted spelter and is adorned with ornate turbin, rhinestone earrings and a pearl necklace. She is an exotic beauty! On her lap is an Aladdin oil lamp(miniature) with original burner and glass shade. The two side figures look to be in anticipation of perhaps a wish to be granted by the genie/fortune teller. The marble base is a nicely patterned black with tan veining. This is a rare piece! The lamp is in good antique condition. There is aging to the ... morefemale side figures and a couple of very small paint chips on the fortune teller. The marble is very good with one minor chip on the underside of one corner(see pictures) There is a substantial crack to the miniature oil shade, but these are readily available and are very inexpensive to replace. Golden, goldenrod) It is decorated with tiny glass seed bead fringe in bronze, silver, and gray metallic tones hang 2" long[5.08 cm] around the full perimeter. The material is believed to be a heavy linen( of some sort. With a feel of being heavily starched on the small, tight pleats. The fancy yellow'balloon' trim at both top and bottom perimeter appears to be silk. please don't quote me on the materials. Except for the beads) The shade area(not counting the fringe) measures 3-1/4" 8.255 cm] high(5.25" 13.335 cm] total height) The top opening is approx. 4" inches[10.16 cm] diameter. And the bottom is approx. ... more5-1/2" 13.97 cm] diameter. In very good condition with minor wear. All the present beads are firmly intact. There are two strings of missing beads. Which is really hardly noticeable due to how closely together they are to one another. Approx. 1-2" of the trim is loose, which is an easy fix(see pic) There is some minor soil and minor wear on only one small section of the balloon-shape trim. From a smoke-free home. As it is. There is a chip on the smaller top opening on the interior side and top part, and some flecks on the milk glass edge at the top also, same thing(both issues) on the opening of the base edges, wick knob turns pretty well. Greetings. We are very pleased to offer this STUNNING antique glass mini oil lamp in amazing near mint condition. I am unsure of the maker. But it came from an antique store storage, and still had a $295 price tag on it from over 35 years ago. The tag said"Antique Blown Molded glass oil lamp- Nailsea? with the question mark, so I leave it up to better eyes than myself to decide if the antique store was correct. I will however be asking close to the same price they asked in 1978. Please see the detailed pics- I hope they do the color and condition justice. The lamp. Burner and glass shade/hurricane are all included as shown in pics. The lamp and burner appear to be original, but it is unknown if the hurricane shade is original. As shown from the bottom of the lamp. The colors swirl in"bubble swirls" around the lamp. The glass ... morethickness varies, and is embossed with swirls on the outer surface and molded leaf crown around the bottom. the colors range from almost white, to almost dark cranberry. The effect of the color is almost like veins. I hope the pics do it justice. It is quite beautiful, and almost perfect in every way. Definitely a prized collectors piece. And most likely from the Art Nouveau or aesthetics movement era due to the floral leafy swirly decor. Decoration: the glass color and design is exquisite. Antique Vict miniature Clear glass oil lamp, P&A Mfg Co w/chimn and green shade
Offered for auction is this circa mid to late 1800's miniature clear glass oil lamp w/ wick and chimney and a super case glass green and white shade with 3 pronged support. The knurled hand grip to raise the wick is marked The P& A MFG Co. Acorn( I think, very hard to read) The brass attachment to the font has some stress cracks in the brass. The font appears to be a 3 mold but the base is a 2 mold. Some roughness on inside of base but appears to be manufacturing flaws. Total height including chimney is 9 1/2" and the green shade is 3 1/2" wide. Top and bottom of chimney have tiny chips.
