Beautiful hand painted detailing. No chips or cracks. Man should be holding chain to the horses but that has come off easy fix. Small hairline ctack on bottom where you replace the lightbulb and old glue on the inside of the back wheel. Nothing noticeable. This is an outstanding lamp. PAIR AUTHENTIC EARLY VICTORIAN ANTIQUE CARRIAGE LAMPS Another quality item searched for with care by Jims Things This pair of authentic carriage lamps date from the mid nineteenth century and will make sensational candle lamps for either side of a large front door. They have a small bracket fixed to one side which originally would have held them to a post on the carriage but could still be used for holding them today with a little ingenuity. The tubular brass candle holders are fitted with bayonet fixings inside the lamp so that they can be locked into position after fitting them with candles over the long springs inside. Which held the candle top inside the lamp at the correct height. They have dents and marks to them where they have been gripped in the past to remove them. The rest of this pair of lamps are in excellent condition and have ... moreside windows that are on opposite sides to each and have their original bevelled glass windows. The backs of the lamps are hinged to fall in a downwards direction. Locking with a clasp at the top, and have small circular red glass windows with a brass border. The oval shaped front lenses are both surrounded with brass shades in very good condition and the insides have the original. Undamaged copper reflectors. This antique& very old& certainly original carriage lamp light from an actual carriage that held a real fuel in it. This one was converted into an electric light. Great piece for a ranch house. Or barn house. It also has a red piece of red glass or maybe it's a gem of some kind as they used in the old watches, I'm not sure. Antique Wood Brass Cast Iron Carriage Lamp foyer table desk lamp
This is a beautiful antique table lamp with a heavy cast iron base with a carved wooden post and a Carriage like bevel glass(encased) shade. This shade is a metal tin painted a matte black color. There is a couple of scuffs and nicks on paint but not bad and easy to fix. The lamp is sturdy, stands up straight, and measures about 16 1/2" tall and 6" wide at base. This lamp weighs more than 4 lbs. There are scuffs and scratches on the wood post of this lamp- only from previous use and wear from age. There are straight hairline cracks in the wood post but it looks like this is how the wood is placed together, like a wainscoting design. Not sure of type of wood- could be walnut? The carriage like looking shade has beveled clear glass panes framed in metal with brass top. None of the clear glass panes are chipped or cracked. Not sure ... moreof maker- There are numbers marked on the bottom of bare cast iron base but no maker name. This lamp seems to have an original outlet cord and plug- prongs on plug are marked Academy Automatic Made in USA~ Albeit. This lamp is probably about 50 years old or older. HELLO and thanks for looking. Here is a very old CARRIAGE style light. This is an electric light and I'm not sure if it was converted from kerosene or not. By the age of it it may well have been gas operated but I'll leave that up to you professionals to decide. Pretty sure it is copper or copper with something else. GLASS: Etched pieces. BLUE GREEN RED YELLOW. I think the slender YELLOW piece may be a replacement as it has a rough texture and all the other glass is smooth. The top is made to have an additional piece screwed on to it it appears and a very crude opening has been made in it as shows in the picture. Stands about 12 1/2" high. The top part is about 6 1/4" square and tapers down to about 5 1/2" The smaller glass pieces are surrounded by VERY ornate metalwork! Hard to find a pair of very old sconces carriage ligths made out of brass. They could be electrified. Great decorating lights. 20 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Antique Carriage Lamp foyer table desk lamp Wood Brass Cast Iron metal ~ This is a beautiful antique table lamp with a heavy cast iron base with a carved wooden post and a Carriage like bevel glass(encased) shade. This shade is a metal tin painted a matte black color. There is a couple of scuffs and nicks on paint but not bad and easy to fix. The lamp is sturdy, stands up straight, and measures about 16 1/2" tall and 6" wide at base. This lamp weighs more than 4 lbs. There are scuffs and scratches on the wood post of this lamp- only from previous use and wear from age. There are straight hairline cracks in the wood post but it looks like this is how the wood is placed together, like a wainscoting design. Not sure of type of wood- could be walnut? The carriage like looking shade has beveled clear glass panes framed in metal with ... morebrass top. None of the clear glass panes are chipped or cracked. Not sure of maker- There are numbers marked on the bottom of bare cast iron base but no maker name. This lamp seems to have an original outlet cord and plug- prongs on plug are marked Academy Automatic Made in USA~ Albeit. This lamp is probably about 50 years old or older. It would look great in a foyer hall or side table in an office. The bulb shown has an amber tint- this bulb will be included. I may have to disassemble this lamp a little for shipping and will wrap securely with bubble wrap and include insurance. Pair of Antique Candle Powered Carriage Lamps
Very old. Possibly 19th century; no markings. Antique carriage lamps, candle powered. One is missing the spring and metal part at the bottom as pictured. Beveled glass on one side; they open at the back. Still have some candle wax on the front. I have not attempted to polish and clean them. The one with the missing part is 13" tall, the other is 15 1/2" tall. 5 3/4" diameter rim to rim on front glass and 6" deep. Wire them up for sconces or hard wired for your home or shop.

Pair of Antique Victorian Horse Carriage Coach Lamps From Dublin Ireland
You are bidding on a pair of Victorian carriage/ coach lamps found in Dublin Ireland.They have thick beveled glass and one lamp has a small surface crack shown in the pictures. The integrity of the glass is still intact. Other than a few dings that can easily be repaired they are in good shape for there age. The springs for the candles are still intact. The lamps measure 17 inches tall and the front opening measures 6 by 4.75 inches. The side piece of glass measures 5 by 4 inches and the red glass on the back of the lamp is one inch in diameter. The lamps are made of metal. I think tin. Nickel plate and brass. I like them the way they are but it would not take much to completely restore them. Good luck bidding.

Circa 1870-188 0. But please make up your own mind about this. The pullman lamp measures approx 13 inches(330mm) tall. It is made from solid brass throughout. And would originaly have been mounted on the dining table of a pullman railway carriage. It is in very good condition with light wear consistent with its great age. But no damage or repairs. It is fitted with a bayonet clip type. UK bulb holder, and is unwired, and would need to be rewired by a qualified electrician before it can be used. Probably late 1800's, converted at some point to electric. 3 of the 4 glass panels are missing, it is being sold"as is" so please look at the pictures. It is for restoration, parts or repurpose. It is approximately 22 inches tall and 10 inches across and very heavy, about 15 pounds. I just know there is someone in Ebay land waiting for this piece.
