This is from an estate sale which had many antique oil kerosene lamps for sale many which were original to the same family passed down! This measures 9 3/4 on the fitter bottom side. 9 inches high and 11 inches at the widest across. The last photo does show a close up of a factory flaw, there are no cracks in the glass and I am showing all sides of this shade in the pictures! Please excuse the small amount of photos and their low quality. It was challenging for my camera to take good pictures of this item. This original Aladdin glass chimney is from a model 12 lamp. But I believe it can be used on other models. I am just not sure which ones. Measures about 12.5" in length. 2.75" width at base and 2" width across top. Weight is 5 ounces. The"ALADDIN" printed on glass is very clear. Under that it reads"REG.U.S.PAT.OFF MADE IN U.S.A. Condition of glass is very good. Antique Parlor Oil Kerosene Lamp Converted Electric Light Aladdin HobNail Green
The following auction is for a vintage oil/kerosene lamp that was converted to an electrical light with a switch. It is used.And original. I dont know if this is called a Fenton/Aladdin or not. I dont see any markings on the lamp anywhere,so dont think I am trying to trick you. I dont know if thats a style or a name,sorry this is the first one we have sold The light has some issues.But it does power on. The switch is for a 3 stage bright/brighter/brightest/Off Light. THE LIGHTBULB IS NOT INCLUDED. So you may have to turn the switch a few cranks,before it comes on,unless you have that kind of bulb. The glass is in decent shape with no cracks or repairs in it. There is a small chip on the edge of the lampshade. I forgot to take a pic. Its not real big,and I didnt really notice until just now when I was listing it. I felt it being a little rougher ... morethere. Its a darker green color. I think you call it hobnail or hobknob. The glass does have texture to it. The cord is in alright shape. Not all that great. I wasnt scared to plug it in or anything.But its old and wouldnt really be hard to replace,at least for the piece of mind. The light does work,the switch is a little hard to turn,but it does work. I didnt get shocked or anything like that when I was testing it. There is alot of rust/pitting on the ring that holds the shade.As well as the whole switch assembly. The spot where the oil lamp went is really pitty and rusty. The switch does work for the light,but it feels a little hard to turn. The light sits crooked. I think it has to do with the electrical outlet. When you look down on it,you can see the light is crooked. The whole ring and the entire switch mechanism is dirty and pitted/rusted up. The base appears to have been cleaned up. Its a lot shinier than the rest.It still has some pitting and tarnish spots on it.The underneath side looks terribly discolored and spotty. There is a small chipped off piece on the base. I took a pic. Not really noticeable.But its there The light stands(with shade on) about 16 inches

This is a beautiful old authentic Aladdin oil lamp. It has a 10" milk glass shade colored in a pastel yellow and in a swirl pattern. The lamp itself is all brass and is in it's original condition and has NOT been converted to electricity. The wick adjustment knob is marked" The mantle lamp company of America Inc. Chicago model no.11 ALADDIN made in USA. The burner is marked"flame spreader no. 11. Total size of lamp is 21" tall to top of chimney. The shade is 10" in diameter and 6 1/4" tall This was purchased at a farm estate sale in Wisconsin. The brass tank has a few very small dings. and the milk glass shade has a chip on the upper rim(see pic. There are no other defects that I can see. I think it's beautiful. This antique Aladdin brass oil lamp was made between 1919 and 1920. At some point it was electrified and has a cord attached(cut off) However. It is in good order, all parts are in good condition; there is no chimney. The shade is original to this lamp and is in very good condition with no cracks or breakage. The lamp with shade stands 18 inches in height. It needs a good cleaning, but there is no damage to the metal. No dents or other appearance problems. This#8 lamp is considered hard to find and would make an excellent Christmas gift this season for someone who knows and loves these old Aladdin oil lamps. Antique Vintage Aladdin lamp.This lamp is made of milk glass, designed base with raised leafs, the glass around the leafs is painted light pink. On bottom footed base with 6 glass feet, also on bottom marked Aladdin. The glass lamp base measures about 13 ¾” high. The lamp measures 25 ½” high from the bottom of the base to the top where the shade hooks on. The lamp is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The lamp shade measures 16” wide at the bottom of base by 11 ¼” high. There are stains on 2 panels of the shade that go all the way through to the liner; the rest of the shade is in good used condition. Buyer pays for shipping and handling. A competitor located in nearby Alexandria, Indiana, and from Aladdin Industries, maker of Aladdin Kerosene Mantle Lamps. By 1925 the Aladdin Manufacturing Company was producing"all kinds of portable. Desk, table and floor lamps, and silk and parchment shades. In 1927 hand-painted glass shades were also added. Lamps were sold locally through the Household Electric Store on Jackson Street, as well as through retailers in other towns and by mail order.
