Circa 1950's/1960s, r Cute little Danish Modern era Martz lamp. This is a very nice vintage Mid Century Modern MARTZ POTTERY Lamp from MARSHALL STUDIOS! The pottery base measures 9 1/4" high(11 3/4" to top of socket) And the base is 6 1/4" wide. The lamp is in Great condition. With no chips, cracks, crazing or any sign of damage to the cerami c. A bit of oxidation to the brass piece below the socket is all. It works great and is signed near the cord. See pics. Also has the"Marshall Studios" sticker on the base. It was purchased at an estate sale. So not certain as to exact age(plug suggests 1950s-60s) but it is in excellent vintage condition meaning it is old, has been used and shows little wear with a little dulling of the chrome on a couple of the light bases, but no chips, cracks, dents and nothing broken or missing. The auction includes the five colored light bulbs pictured but cannot guarantee they will work after they have been shipped due to their age. This fabulous chrome lamp features five lights arranged in a spiral and a twist on-off switch about mid-way up. The base is weighted and has some rust on it but not the part that comes into contact with the floor(see ... morephoto#10) It stands approximately 5 feet tall. Mid century mercury glass ball table lamp very cool
You are looking at A used mid century mercury glass ball lamp. This lamp measures 18” tall. About 9” at the widest part of the ball and the very bottom base is 6” The lamp has one 1-1/2” crack toward the bottom of the ball and has some clouding next to the top ring. As you can see in the pictures the lamp still looks very good for its age. There are two pictures of the crack. I don’t believe the crack affects the structure of this lamp. It is very hard to see and even harder to get pictures of. The lamp functions perfectly. The paint at the top and bottom is in great condition. Here’s your chance to get a very cool looking lamp. Vintage Hollywood Regency Chinoiserie Mid Century Asian Lamp
This is a beautiful vintage A sian lamp up for auction. I have done some research on this lamp and have found that it is made by Leonard Foss. It has an underwriters laboratory sticker on the lamp. I called them(underwriters laboratory) and gave them the number at the bottom of the lamp and was told that the maker was Foss. This lamp has no cracks, no chips, in excellent condition. This lamp also has a beautiful wood base. I have the F oss lamp shade that came with it but it has seen better days. If you would like the shade sent with the lamp let me know. Mid Century Lamp Pair- Hand Textured Plaster
We acquired these lamps from an estate sale from a neighbor's home. The family was purging items from a home of an older family member that was built in the 1900's. The lamps are very heavy. They are an antique white plaster with a hand textured finish that resembles stucco. The design on the front of each is an extended diamond shape. Colors are an earth brown and burnt orange. The bottom tip of the burnt orange extended diamond has a small chip. Overall they are in excellent condition and will require minimal clean up. These lamps have been tested. And both work perfectly. Mid-Century Porcelain Lamp Pair Pink Balls Spheres & Ornate Brass Bands
Offering these antique luster ware lamps. Luster iridescent porcelain with volcanic(raised white porous) glaze. These lamps are probably from the fifties. But could have been made in the forties or sixties. Please use your own judgement. The lamps have their original hoops and finials and measure 30" tall. The total height of the four spheres(including the metal bands) is approx. 15 1/2" Each sphere measures approx. 3 1/4" tall by approx. 6" in diameter. The spheres have no chips. Cracks, or repairs. There are two to three tiny spots of light wear beneath the metal separating rings. Not seen. Covered, and not detrimental. Any lines which may appear to be scratches in these images are white glaze streaks and original to the finish. There are two or three tiny bubble pops and several tiny black cinders trapped within the ... morewhite eosin? glaze. All original. Very minimal wear. If any, to the glazes. The plug on one lamp has been broken and will need replacing. The other electrical parts on both lamps look good. But one might want to re-wire the lamps for safety's sake. The lamp with the intact plug works. I see no reason the other lamp won't work after that broken plug is replaced. I disassembled the lamps for cleaning as shown in the image of the lamp lying down. As you can see in this image. The bottoms of the spheres are not glazed. The open criss-cross brass tone metal bands are in very good condition with no damage. There is an aged patina to the metal. I didn't clean these bands or the metal lamp bases. Except to wipe them off. There is minor loss of the finish to the metal bases on both lamps. Not bad except for the one area on the one lamp base as shown. These lamps will be shipped separately for an insured flat rate of $60($30 each) This offer applies to lower 48 states only. For your perusal: A very rare 1930's Russel Wright Copper Lamp. It stands 22" tall and weighs 5 1/2 lbs. There are no dents. And the copper looks to be in great shape. It would shine up nicely(if that's the way you like it) but I'm selling the lamp the way I found it. The lamp has a switch problem so it needs to be rewired. In addition. If I was keeping it, I would purchase a new harp with a heigth that is about 2 inches less than the current height. I just feel it would look better aesthetically. I'm starting the bidding at $499. Widdicomb* Many large detailed pictures below description* Exquisite and superb vintage Italian"Wheat sheaf" tall table lamp in original condition. On black marble base, signed with label on base and stamp on bottom. Circa 1950s. Gorgeous vintage Italian piece. Perhaps the definition of Hollywood Regency lamp- glamourous, bold, visually striking. Original tole wheat sheafs set upon a polished black Italian marble base, with metal feet. Lamp measures 48" to finial top, 37" to top of socket. I've found these much more scarce than the wheat sheaf tables. Pull chain single socket. Finial deosn't appear original. SHADE NOT INCLUDED. But the size is 15" tall/13" diameter with an offset of about 4"5" down from top if you like it's proportion. It is not a great shade but the size and color complement ... morethis lamp well. It did not come with this lamp originally. Condition is VG+vintage- there is aging and patina. Maybe even some very mild oxidation to metal portions. It has not been repainted as is often seen on pieces of this type. Marble is clean and beautiful. there may be a small crack which I did not notice until my super close camera shot(may be fill from maker) Similar patina on small legs. The wheat/leaves do not appear to have been bent or messed with. Generally a vintage lamp that has correct and expected signs of age to finish and hasn't been"messed with" 48" to top of finial. 37" to socket top. Offered for consideration is a heavy solid cast brass table lamp with a segmented column design mounted on a carved ebonized wood base. The piece is heavy and well made. The base is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks and no dents. The brass exhibits a wonderful rich patina. Random color variation and light verdigris along some of the seams. This is old brass and shows some light scratching and old polishing swirl marks. Any"white spots" in the photos are reflections of light and not damage. The socket can utilize a 3-way bulb for 3 different levels of light. The lamp has been rewired to current standards with a new premium solid brass socket and new polarized cord and plug.
