This nice period lamp dates ca. 1900-1915 and manufactured in an era when they could be“wired” for either gas or electricity. It measures 24” tall(16” to the top of the socket) and sports an original 8” x 35” square shade having solid brass riveted frame with steel under structure. The textured opalescent slag glass is all original with no cracks. But a tiny corner loss as photographed. The base is brass plated cast iron with minor rust and it is very dirty and attic fresh. The owner thought it should be re-wired for sale, so that has been done. My opinion is that the glass is Bohemian. It's quite beautiful with a heavy glass center that appears to be ruby red(I think, rather than"flashed" red) which is cut to clear in a geometric pattern. The fittings appear to be brass and the base/ foot is marble(with felt lining on bottom. A fairly large piece. The glass measures approximately 6" in diameter. The base is about 5" square. Not counting ... morethe finial, it is 18 1/4" tall. This piece appears to be in generally excellent used/old condition and- as you can see in the next to last pic- it works great. I don't see any cracks or damage on the cord. Either. However, I can not remove the harp. and I am not going to try to force it. The only damage I see is some green on the stem- discoloration or just needs cleaning/ polishing? This pair of Art Deco style lamps provide an upward illumination. They stand 22" tall. 7 3/4"top diameter, The glass ball is 3" in diameter, 7" to the bottom of the glass ball. The base diameter is 5 5/8" The solid wood base is in a white paint wiht gold leaf detail at the bottom edge. The brass parts are all shiny and lacquered. The wiring is newer and takes a standard light bulb. We have been using a small spot light but any lamp bulb will work. There are no dents or dings in the metal.

Antique Brass Glass Art Deco Lamps Sunset Lighting Gilbert Rohde? Tyndale Shades Great pair of lamps. Probably from the 30s or 40s for your consideration. Recently picked them up at an auction. The lamps were made by Mutual Sunset Light Company of Brooklyn, NY. The base has MSLC 4024 on both of them. Some question out on eBay as to whether these lamps were designed by Gilbert Rohde, anyone out there know where that open item can be confirmed or disproved? Your identity will be kept anonymous. The lamps appear to be made of brass and pressed glass. The bottoms above the brass base are also a cube of glass. A couple of chips in the cubed glass on both pieces. Nice pair of Tyndale fabric shades come with the lamps as well. Some of the gold gilt around the lamp needs to be reattached. But all there. Did not plug the lamps in to see if they work. ... moreYou can see one of the lamps has the bottom of the socket missing. There are no shade holders with this pair, piece that runs up from the socket to hold the shade in place. Some corrosion to the brass finish pieces on the lamps. Offered is an antique glass jewel chunk art nouveau brass shade with high relief. This is not a flimsy thin shade. Very heavy and extremely well made. This is really a beautiful piece sold as is as found. The glass has a rare opalescent stone along with red green, etc. 4 different colors. The shade is solid and very heavy. This does show wear typical of age and use with a couple minor dings on edges, but as you can see it displays beautifully. Great old lamp shade. VINTAGE BRASS& DARK CRANBERRY GLASS HANGING LAMPS This is a beautiful pair of hanging lamps in perfect condition. The lamps measure 10" from the opening at the top to the point at the bottom; the diameter is 6" at the widest part of the globes. M ade in India using their unique intricate detailing. Are bands of brass wrapped around dark cranberry glass globes. They are an elegant way to create soft lighting using candles, floating candles or oils. I wanted to put these lovely globes up for auction but the bracket on one of the hanging wall hooks had broken off so I took it to be welded. Please see pictures of the welding repair. I've also showed a picture of the bracket that is alright. The bracket is now firmly in place however there is a very small area on the front of the wall hook that has a little discoloration; I was ... moretold that it was cause from the heating temperature needed to do the repair. Antique Vintage Hanging Oil Lamp Connverted Top and Bottom Light Up Brass Glass
Nice old oil lamp that was converted to electric. The top and/or bottom light up. There is a small chip to the top rim of the glass shade and very minor spots of wear to the brass. There are 18 glass prisms. It measures 10 inches wide and 20 inches high. It is set up to be wired directly to the ceiling and it hangs down 12 inches from the ceiling however you could add two chains if you wanted it to hang lower. I just hung it from a bungee cord to take pictures.

With vintage custard glass light shades. The lamp measures approx. 18" tall. X 16" wide, the felt cover base bottom is 4-1/2" in diameter The glass shades measures approx. 5-1/2" tall x 6-3/4" in diameter. The two custards shades don't match totally. Hi All: This auction is for an absolutely beautiful antique/vintage lamp. This amazing lamp features a"cherub" holding a torch with a frosted glass shade with gold accents. The cherub. Base and torch are made of brass. I do not know the age of the lamp but judging by the style and plug I would say it from the 1930"s or 1940"s. This lamp is in excellent condition, there is some minor damage to the base of the shade that is only visible when the shade is removed from the lamp. 1930s antique bridge floor lamp with houze glass base, brass outer tubing
Up for auciton is this 1930s lamp that has a seven inch square houze glass base. The lamp retains some of its original green. Red and gold paint on its bridge, column break adn column pieces. The brass pole pieces are very clean. The lamp base as well as other pcs are clean. Minor cleaning should be done to the bottom of the base. I have replaced the glass piece with a chip and crack free base. The paddle wheel socket work. Buyer will have to rewire the lamp. To protect the pieces. This is a beautiful lampshade that can be easily converted to a hanging swag lamp. It is ornate. Nicely patinaed brass with alternating slag glass panels of brilliant red and swirled white. From what I understand, minerals were added during the process of making the glass to get those rich colors and swirl marks. I am no expert though. I will throw in the base for free if you purchase. ANTIQUE BRASS (OR BRASS PLATED?) PHARMACY LAMP needs glass shade, minor work
I have owned this lamp since 1982. When it was purchased from a local estate clearance place. I do not know how old it is. It came without a shade and I've fitted it with a traditional looking green glass shade in the past(last one broke, easily found in lamp shade stores) The lamp has a height adjustment screw in the middle of the post(shown) and it can be as high as 52" or as short as about 3 feet. The wiring was restored in the past 20 years and works fine. The brass screw which adjusts the angle of the shade is a little"droopy" and could probably use some work. The lamp has a total of 3 adjustable fittings- the one that dictates its height, the one at the top of the post that sets the angle for the side arm, and the one that adjusts shade angle. Shade is held in by 3 screws, which are present. Needs polishing.

1920's Antique Art Deco Brass and Genuine Milk Glass Dome Lamp Shade Hand Painted Ceiling Lamp Light Shade This listing is for a very nice antique art deco shade. It dates from the 1920's. Along with the shade I am also including the brass ring. This is a very large light shade. The diameter of the large dome shade is 17" and it hangs an amazing 7 1/2" high. This is a very heavy shade as well. Suitable to be the center piece in a nice large room. Ring could make it possible to hang from the ceiling or attach to a hanging fixture. This is an absolutely stunning hand painted colonial style genuine milk glass shade. The outside of the shade has a satin finish. The large glass lamp shade does have 2 chips. One is along the edge which would not be visible behind the brass ring. The other is on a white part of the shade itself, ... moreso it would be almost impossible to see it from the floor looking at it. There are no cracks aside from the normal wear found on the fitter edge. The shade looks amazing when lit and it was hard to show in the pictures. The lamp is painted a light pink/purple hazey color, which is most likely original. I cannot say for sure if the flowers were added later. Overall condition of the shade is good for its age. Here is a gorgeous Bohemian ruby red& white cut glass coin lamp with a brass L&L base. Number 6784. It stands 34 inches tall, the glass itself is 18 inches, the base is 4 inches and the harp is 12-13 inches. The diameter of the glass base is 7 inches. It has very little wear on it and no damage with the exception of a slight nick in the base gilt trim line, see photo) its hard to see, its tiny! There are no paint losses or glass chips I found, and the cutting of the white to red glass is first class workmanship. There is no shade or finial on this lamp.
