Vintage Antique Adjustable Desk Lamp Industrial Urban Loft Decor Light
For your consideration is this vintage brass or copper desk lamp. In original dark finish. The 1930's lamp features an articulating arm as well as a telescoping option. The lamp stands on a weighted 5" diameter base and has a 20" reach. The tube shade has a Leviton socket which accepts standard size bulbs(bulbs not included) The cord is old but still pliable, with no cuts and includes an old two prong plug. Smooth as a drinking glass rim. Some of the silver paint that once stated Emeralite is still there but mainly worn off. Beautiful brass hanging frame. This will be shipped wired. Vintage industrial desk lamp. Features metal articulating arms. Cast iron joints, a vintage cast base, an aged brass lamp shade, and three antique cast iron valve handles. The shade, base and handles have a wonderful patina. Wiring is brand new reproduction brown twisted cloth cord and a new antique style plug. Everything works perfectly and safely. The brass socket and turn key have an oil-rubbed bronze finish. The base is a heavy cast iron. Three separate joints enable the lamp to be positioned in a wide variety of ways. The handles at all three joints make re-positioning easier. The valve handles can easily be switched to the opposite side if preferred. I can do that for the winning bidder if requested. ANTIQUE DESK LAMP SPELTER METAL CHARIOT AND HORSES
Please note that handling time for this item is about a week after payment clears. Antique desk lamp. From bottom to top it stands 22 5/8 INCHES TALL. The base is 12 inches long. And 6 1/2 inches wide. I'm not sure of its exact age or any of its history. I purchased it at an antique store in 1996 or'97. It's in descent shape. The main problem is that three of the front hooves of the horses are broken off and missing. The shade. Which is metal, has come off and needs to be soldered back onto its spokes. As you can see in the photo, the lamp can rotate on its base, so it needs to be glued to the base again. Other than that there are the scratches and chipped paint you can see in the photos. A mouse took one small shallow bite off the rubber surface of the cord(it doesn't go down to the wire) And a small tear in the felt under ... morethe base. Bulbs have been tested and the lamp works. ANTIQUE HANDEL LILY DESK LAMP; RARE YELLOW GREEN SLAG GLASS; DUFFNER ERA
For sale is a beautiful documented Handel lily lamp as shown in pictures 1-12. This lamp is relatively rare in that its glass color is not Handel's standard dark green. Rather. It is a lighter striated yellow green. Also the base metal and the metal holding the petals has a lighter golden brown patina that is more in keeping with the muted colors of the glass. The true patina color is shown in natural sun light in photo 3. The true color of the glass is shown in natural light in photos 2& 3. Although the base and shade are unsigned. This lighter colored variation of Handel's lily lamp is pictured(documented) in"The Handel Lamp Book" by Hibel. Hibel& Fontaine at page 30 at the top right. The lily pad base of the lamps were made of cast iron and thus much more difficult to emboss with the Handel mark than the softer ... morepot metal table lamps. Hence, most of these lily pad bottoms had weak lettering(a couple of letters) to no impressions at all. The lamp has been rewired with a period appropriate brown cloth cord that has been spliced at the bottom. See photos 9& 10. The lamp has its original bakelight plug. photo 8) The socket has a GE paddle. Photo 12. The socket works perfectly. The socket shell is spot welded closed at two spots. You can see one of them in photo 2. The shade is 4 inches long from back to front tip(i.e. The front to back diameter) The shade's side to side diameter is 4 1/2 inches wide. The shades front opening is 2 1/4 inches in diameter. It takes one of the narrow pointed bulbs. Unfortunately. The lamp has one panel of glass missing. X 16" wide, the felt cover base bottom is 4-1/2" in diameter The glass shades measures approx. 5-1/2" tall x 6-3/4" in diameter. The two custards shades don't match totally. One is darker when turned on and is made of thicker glass, also it has a chip on the ruffled edges(see photos below) The brass lamp is in Very Good condition. Handel Arts and Crafts Desk Lamp with Brown Mosserine Shade
This rare version of a Handel desk lamp represents the top of the line of the various desk lamps that the Handel Company offered. It is taller than the other versions. Measuring 15" tall, and the shade is also wider than other models measuring 10" wide. The shade is acid-etched on the exterior to produce a textured pattern, called Mosserine, in brown to cream colors, which are more pronounced with the lamp is turned on. The interior of the shade is signed Handel. The base has a rich brown patina. It comes with its original acorn pull cord. The electrical wiring has been updated with a new cloth covered cord that has an on-off thumb switch. The base has a new felt bottom with Handel cloth label. Overall, the lamp is in excellent condition(see above condition report) This handsome lamp will make a fine addition to any home.

Shelf or Desk Lamp with clock, figure of a Musician playing a Mandolin, clock is mounted on a pedestal with a bird perched on top of the clock, newel post lamp ... morelight fixture, has 4 panels of pebbled amber glass, with 4 panels on the lid or top, with a berry finial topper, lid is hinged to access the bulb, No makers mark. Paper face on clock is marked Made in U.S.A, there is staining to the paper, brass frame, back of clock is metal, I do not know if the clock is working. The stem is there but the fitting that goes over the stem to wind it is missing, there is another stem that moves the hands to set the time, that moves freely, Lamp is in working condition. And the wiring has been replaced somtime in the past, socket looks to be original, but as with any old electric item this should be checked out by an Electrician before use. 1 of the glass panels is cracked and there is a gap on 1 side of this same panel. Looks like some repairs were made to both of the upper corners of the metal trim were they meet, some repair work to the hinge as well, See photos for greater details. This listing is for a beautiful banker's style desk lamp with gorgeous black glass shade and black marble and brass base. I believe the marble on the base is real as lamp is very heavy at 4.5 lbs. But the marble on the column feels faux, but I could be wrong. I believe the brass is also real as magnets do not stick to it. Black glass shade is intact and is not broken and it has no chips or cracks. The brass base is tarnished and could use a polishing. I will leave that to the new owner. The lamp is in working order and turns on with the pull chain. All electrical looks good. UL listed sticker is inside the lamp shade. Sale includes light bulb shown. Beautiful lamp. The weld in the middle is not intact but the lamp functions just fine without it and you really can't tell unless you look really close. Up for auction is a original Segar Studio Bronze Desk Lamp designed by the famous metalsmith Oscar Bruno Bach. The lamp was made in 1923-1924 and is stamped"The Segar Studios. N Y" underneat of the inkwell base. It has a developed a beautiful bronze patina over time. An intricate pattern of flowers is incorporated into this Art Deco period design. The lamp is fully functional but missing one of the bottom inkwell covers. Made of solid bronze the lamp measures 16 1/2 inches in height and 14 inches across the shade, and weights approximately 40 lbs. I was informed that desk lamps by this maker are more difficult to find. The estimated apprasied value is between $800-$1200.
