Circa 1880's to 1900'Alva' pattern kerosene stand lamp. Please reference Thuro book 2 page 117 figure o& p for the opalescent versions of this lamp. Lamp is 7 3/4" tall to the top of the#1 fine line brass collar. With a 4 1/2" base diameter. Font. Stem and base all have an acid finish. Overall very condition with no large chips or cracks. Has the usual bubbles, straw marks, and base wear. Mold roughness, small nicks and small flat flakes along the edge of the base. Two internal bruises on the base. One on the top edge and the other on the underside. One internal bruise on the font in the middle center rib area. I did not see this until I was writing up my description an d checking for flaws. ORNATE BRASS ANTIQUE OIL KEROSENE STUDENT LAMP MILLER? FOR RESTORATION
Sorry. No International Shipping. Please note that our photos are below the item description. This antique student lamp is in need of restoration. It has been electrified at some time in the past. Luckily the wire came out of the burner section and no other holes or alterations were made in the lamp. In the 5th row of photos you can see the slight separation in the ribbing at the bottom where the wire came out. Other minor problems are there is some solder at the top of the oil tank with some very minor metal fatigue at the top. There is a dent on the inside of the oil tank also shown in the 5th row of photos. Obviously the burner has also been altered. There are no other dents. Splits or damages on the lamp. The lamp is made of solid brass(except for the weight in the base) and would polish up beautifully if that was your desire. Although ... morewe cannot find any maker's mark we believe the lamp to be made by the Miller Lamp Company. It stands 21 1/2" tall, is 14 1/2" wide and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. Antique Victorian kerosene oil lamp chandelier light fixture cranberry red shade
Spectacular late 19th century pulley kerosene/oil chandelier. Stunning red glass with slight swirl. This light has been electrified and in that process an additional Victorian era lamp canopy was added so this is READY TO INSTALL TO A JUNCTION BOX! The light was also repainted in a period appropriate rich gilt. The pulley action was not altered and it still works(though the wiring will bunch up if you pull on it) No damage to the shade. The cranberry red glass ball shade is 9" wide.

Offering this very attractive antique Victorian Era Gone With The Wind Table Lamp. Originally oil but now converted to electric power. The parts maker was P& A. Royal who made the parts for the early Aladdin Lamps. This has a beautiful swirl milk glass base with a forest and mountain scene that appears to be a transfer ware process decoration. The cast iron feet are adorned with Cherubs at four points. Other than the cut outs for the conversion, one at the bottom of the pot and two at the top for the on- off chain, it is in great shape and just needs a shade. It measures 12 inches tall to top of the shade holder, is 6 inches wide at the top of the base and 7 inches wide at the swirl area of the base. The feet area measures 6 1/4 inches squared. Antique Piano Parlor B&H Ornate Table Oil Kerosene Lamp Fenton Coindot Shade
For your consideration is this Antique Piano Parlor B&H Ornate Table Oil Kerosene Lamp With Fenton Coindot Shade. This Beautiful. Antique Oil Lamp measures approximately 32 3/4" tall and 9 1/4" wide. The Pink Fenton Coindot shade measures approximately 5 1/8" tall and 8 5/8" in diameter. The base of the shade measures approximately a little under 4" in diameter. The shade is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. The only thing I can see is 1 thin flake on the bottom rim of the shade(shown in pic) and the normal minor roughness around the inside rim from being cut away from the mold. The lead glass chimney to the lamp measures approximately 10" tall and about 3 1/4" at it's widest point. The chimney is signed at the top. HIGH GRADE ATLAS LEAD GLASS. It is in very nice condition, EXCEPT for ... morea very small flake around the bottom rim and a couple very small spots of roughness around the bottom rim as well. The ornate. Black cast/wrought iron base of the lamp is in very nice condition as well. There is one small spot(shown in pic) where some of the black paint has worn a bit. The burner is marked, The B& H, for The Bradley& Hubbard Co. This antique oil lamp has been very nicely converted to electric and the cord is in very nice, safe condition. This will need checking by a qualified electrician before use as the plug will be removed from the end of the wire. Lamp has a beautifully moulded fount and stem in the Art-Nouveau style. Dimensions; almost 19" tall to the top of the bayonet bulb holder. Takes regular 4" Duplex oil lamp shades. Condition; fount is drilled through the undermount(wire shows a little in ... moremacro image) also the cast shade holder has been screwed into the original Duplex collar. Hollow moulded stem is fine without any issue, black glazed terracotta plinth has been drilled to accommodate flex, most of the applied paint detail on the flowers and foliage is rubbed. Overall. This has been identified as circa 1880’s to 1890’s piece made by the Riverside Glass Company– Massive Sewing Lamp The embossed design looks like eapg Princess Feather glass pattern to me. But this has not been verified by the experts. Size: approx 11 inches tall; 4 sided piece– width of each side approx 6 inches; width of base between the feet approx 6 inches. Condition: Lovely. The glass is bright and clear– No clouding– Design so very strong and showy– I see no cracks. But I did feel 2 tiny rough spots– one rough spot is underneath one of the legs and the other rough spot is on the edge of the brass collar– ... morevery tiny area of roughness. 1893 Rochester Mammoth Oil Kerosene Brass Hanging Lamp w Iron Hanger Description: Lamp metal font section embossed brass. Hanger bracket appears to be a combination of cast and wrought iron. A similar lamp was advertised as a Number 10 in the 1893 catalog issued by the Rochester Lamp Company. New York. Good condition overall but there is a dent in the one side of the fuel tank. Dent is mostly hidden when inserted into the hanger. More details below. All glass pieces are in fine condition with no damage. Frosted chimney measures 12 inches tall overall with a 4 inch diameter mounting area. Upper and bottom rims are both cut but the upper is way thicker than the bottom edge. 7 inch tall milk glass shade measures 11-3/4 inches in diameter at the bottom rim and 4.5 inches in diameter at the top. Both ends of the shade are rough cut. Similar shades ... moreand lamps were also marketed by the Royal Lamp Company. New York. The hanger is included but it's slightly different than the one illustrated in the 1893 catalog. It has some rust and flaking paint. The brass font parts are in nice original condition. There is a dent which likely needs repair prior to holding fuel. IT seems complete other than there is no wick or smoke bell. Tank section measures 8.5 inches in diameter and 11 inches from the bottom up to the fitter ring. Fitter ring has a silver colored screw that works but is may not be original. Overall measurements of the harp section with lamp font inserted is 35.5 inches. That does not include the 44 inches of chain. Has not been restored. Polished, or converted to electricity. Item has a beautiful clambroth base reminiscent of Boston Sanwich Glass. The lamp had been electrified with a hole drilled up through the middle. Other than the conversion the lamp has no chips. The following auction is for a vintage oil/kerosene lamp that was converted to an electrical light with a switch. It is used.And original. I dont know if this is called a Fenton/Aladdin or not. I dont see any markings on the lamp anywhere,so dont think I am trying to trick you. I dont know if thats a style or a name,sorry this is the first one we have sold The light has some issues.But it does power on. The switch is for a 3 stage bright/brighter/brightest/Off Light. THE LIGHTBULB IS NOT INCLUDED. So you may have to turn the switch a few cranks,before it comes on,unless you have that kind of bulb. The glass is in decent shape with no cracks or repairs in it. There is a small chip on the edge of the lampshade. I forgot to take a pic. Its not real big,and I didnt really notice until just now when I was listing it. I felt it being a little rougher ... morethere. Its a darker green color. I think you call it hobnail or hobknob. The glass does have texture to it. The cord is in alright shape. Not all that great. I wasnt scared to plug it in or anything.But its old and wouldnt really be hard to replace,at least for the piece of mind. The light does work,the switch is a little hard to turn,but it does work. I didnt get shocked or anything like that when I was testing it. There is alot of rust/pitting on the ring that holds the shade.As well as the whole switch assembly. The spot where the oil lamp went is really pitty and rusty. The switch does work for the light,but it feels a little hard to turn. The light sits crooked. I think it has to do with the electrical outlet. When you look down on it,you can see the light is crooked. The whole ring and the entire switch mechanism is dirty and pitted/rusted up. The base appears to have been cleaned up. Its a lot shinier than the rest.It still has some pitting and tarnish spots on it.The underneath side looks terribly discolored and spotty. There is a small chipped off piece on the base. I took a pic. Not really noticeable.But its there The light stands(with shade on) about 16 inches

A rare occasion to have an almost working carcel clockwork mechanism. Rarely have I seen these come up for sale at all. The clockworks run beautifully working and nothing broken. The pumps are pretty well intact minus one piston. The clockwork is marked 14 and the pump parts are marked 18. and the baffles are gone. I also have some connecting screws. 13 inch high figural stem oil Lamp. This lamp has a 4 7/8 X 4 7/8 inch X 1 inch high metal base. The figure is the bust of a beautiful woman. The figure is 6 inches tall and is supporting a brass colored base that holds a glass font for the lamp oil. The glass is 3 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches across. On top of that is a brass colored cover that the burner screws into. The glass font has some etching on it. There are 2 cracks in the glass font. The font could be turned so that the cracks were in back. Lamp has fine detail.

As far as I can see there is no reason for this, apart from how the lamp was put together. There is slightly more white plaster adhesive showing on one side where the font is attached to the bronze base, than on the other, so it looks like it wasn't quite sitting square when the base was fitted. A professional can probably take the lamp to pieces and reposition the base. Alternatively it looks just fine as it is. If it is turned slightly, you can't see it leaning.
