Offered for your consideration is this fantastic antique arts& crafts chandelier. This original fixture is made of brass and has nice rivet work and is bold and elegant in design. This is in really good condition and has been rewired at some point in it's life. I believe it is ready to install by the looks of it but I am selling it as is. The original slag glass shades are not present. This lovely hanging lamp measures 32 inches from the top to the tip of the center hanging lamp. 29 inches to the other four, wall mount is 6 3/8 wide, center hoop is 16 wide by 4 inches deep. This beauty would make a welcomed addition to any home and add a great finishing touch! Nicer looking in person than what the pictures convey. These are hard to come by and very collectible! Here is a wonderful circa 1850's tall brass 3-burner whale oil lamp with its original dark patina. It measures 25 1/2" tall x 6 1/4" wide at base. It is in all original condition with a crack in the brass to the lid of the burner(see pictures) It has one loose candle snuffer that was found inside. This one has a very nice scalloped chippendale style base which is more unusual. The stem is a bit bent. But this could be fixed. Pictures should tell the story. It measures 24” tall(16” to the top of the socket) and sports an original 8” x 35” square shade having solid brass riveted frame with steel under structure. The textured opalescent slag glass is all original with no cracks. But a tiny corner loss as photographed. The base is brass plated cast iron with minor rust and it is very dirty and attic fresh. The owner thought it should be re-wired for sale, so that has been done. Antique Victorian Duplex Brass Double Student Oil Lamp Electric Original Globes
Hi. You are bidding on the most beautiful lamp. It is a Duplex student oil lamp that was converted to electric. You can see by the cord and plug that it is one of the oldest electric lamps you will ever see. It has been tested and did work when I bought it but the cord is super old. I would get a second opinion before you use the cord. The globes are LOVELY and even more beautiful in person. They are in good condition with no nicks or cracks. The globes measure approximately ten inches across at the bottom and 4.5 inches or so on the top. The entire lamp is 27 inches when measured from base to top of chimneys. I believe the chimneys are also original in that they look like old glass and they are the exact measurements of the original chimneys. One of the chimneys has some roughness around the base where it goes into the metal but it is not ... morechipped. If you collect these antique lamps. I think you are going to love this one. There are problems, but minimal. I see that there is one lamp socket that is sort of tipped to one side. this is a very rare antique copper and brass converted oil lamp. it has exquisite ornate victorian design. With very intense detailing. it has highly embossed copper designs that run around the base of the lamp. it has beautiful trim. Base and feet. the upper oil container is a large insert. Antique Beautiful Petite Single Shade Frosted Rose Flower Brass Chandelier Lamp
The frosted shade has a very nice Rose type flower pattern. Very old looking. Its about 18" long as hanging. The Single frosted glass crystal type shade is about 4.25" tall and just over 7" wide across bottom. Has a pull string chain on the knuckle. Needs new string and recommend getting the wires checked. Sorry. No International Shipping. Please note that our photos are below the item description. This antique student lamp is in need of restoration. It has been electrified at some time in the past. Luckily the wire came out of the burner section and no other holes or alterations were made in the lamp. In the 5th row of photos you can see the slight separation in the ribbing at the bottom where the wire came out. Other minor problems are there is some solder at the top of the oil tank with some very minor metal fatigue at the top. There is a dent on the inside of the oil tank also shown in the 5th row of photos. Obviously the burner has also been altered. There are no other dents. Splits or damages on the lamp. The lamp is made of solid brass(except for the weight in the base) and would polish up beautifully if that was your desire. Although ... morewe cannot find any maker's mark we believe the lamp to be made by the Miller Lamp Company. It stands 21 1/2" tall, is 14 1/2" wide and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. Awesome Art Deco style swing arm floor lamp. This is a very ornate piece and will restore beautifully. Someone put some tan color paint on the base. I think this will come off very easily. A lot came off when I was brushing it off with a straw whis k broom. The base is a cast metal material with 4 small feet and is marked on the bottom(HF-5) The bottom ornate stem piece. And the spacer piece just under the arm is cast brass. The middle stem is a fluted lighter metal, I'm not sure if that is the original color or someone painted that too. The swing arm moves freely and I think It has a 3-way switch. It has been re-wired and works good. The wire has#s on it(18/2 SPT-1 Pot-64 105 C AIW-R) the cord measures 7' 4" long. Brass, electrified wall sconces features detailed carving of tall ship sailing on a wave with ship's sails and flags flying in the wind. Ships mast and sails are painted in black and white with a red star featured on lower right sail(enamel work?and ornate scroll design work boarders the scene. Sconce has smaller"coat of arms like" ornament with red painted center that dangles below candle arm. Inside area of candle holder is marked"pat. pend.and there appear to be other initials located here but cannot make them out. All sconces feature what appears to be original wiring with original Ratner sockets and a switch on plate. There is a wall screw hole in middle of each sconce on wall plate. The lamps were made by Mutual Sunset Light Company of Brooklyn, NY. The base has MSLC 4024 on both of them. Some question out on eBay as to whether these lamps were designed by Gilbert Rohde, anyone out there know where that open item can be confirmed or disproved? Your identity will be kept anonymous. The lamps appear to be made of brass and pressed glass. The bottoms above the brass base are also a cube of glass. A couple of chips in the cubed glass on both pieces. Nice pair of Tyndale fabric shades come with the lamps as well. Some of the gold gilt around the lamp needs to be reattached. But all there. Large Vintage-Antique Ornate Embossed India Brass Table Lamp
Listed is a very unusual large table lamp. There are no identifying marks on the lamp. But to me it just looks like India. It seems to be made of brass(not attracted by magnet) It is highly embossed with flowers and vines and other decor. It stands 41" to the top of the shade hanger. Offered is an antique glass jewel chunk art nouveau brass shade with high relief. This is not a flimsy thin shade. Very heavy and extremely well made. This is really a beautiful piece sold as is as found. The glass has a rare opalescent stone along with red green, etc. 4 different colors. The shade is solid and very heavy. This does show wear typical of age and use with a couple minor dings on edges, but as you can see it displays beautifully. Great old lamp shade. Antique Vintage Hanging Oil Lamp Connverted Top and Bottom Light Up Brass Glass
Nice old oil lamp that was converted to electric. The top and/or bottom light up. There is a small chip to the top rim of the glass shade and very minor spots of wear to the brass. There are 18 glass prisms. It measures 10 inches wide and 20 inches high. It is set up to be wired directly to the ceiling and it hangs down 12 inches from the ceiling however you could add two chains if you wanted it to hang lower. I just hung it from a bungee cord to take pictures.

These are old ones, notice the non-polarized plugs. Only damage(aside from 70's repaint) is one broken tab, as shown. Speaking of paint, I scraped a small area, so you could see the bare metal. Antique Brass 3 Arm Desk/Table L Antique 3 arm Brass Student Desk Lamp/ Custard glass shades An Estate Sale Find desk/table lamp(more photos below) Solid brass lamp except for the shade fitters and the cast iron weighted base. With vintage custard glass light shades. The lamp measures approx. 18" tall. X 16" wide, the felt cover base bottom is 4-1/2" in diameter The glass shades measures approx. 5-1/2" tall x 6-3/4" in diameter. The two custards shades don't match totally. One is darker when turned on and is made of thicker glass, also it has a chip on the ruffled edges(see photos below) The brass lamp is in Very Good condition. With original brass patina, has a rotary Leviton on/off switch and good power cord. Some oxidation on the brass plated steel fitters and surface rust on the cast iron base.

Other then some paint loss on the roof and foot this is in very nice working condition. All of the original glass is present and in very good condition. Romantic French antique brass faience Kosmos Wild Wessel oil lamp cherubs light
Normal 0 21 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 A beautiful romantic French antique brass and faience(probably Choisy-le-Roi) oil lamp with a charming detailed design of cherubs and floral decoration on a cream background. It is mounted on a very ornate brass stand and dates from around the late 19th century(Napoleon III period) The'Kosmos' burner was produced by Wild& Wessel. A German manufacturer, between 1865 and 1899. The reservoir hasn't been tested and if you are likely to use this as an oil lamp, I strongly advise you to check that it doesn't leak before lighting it. The actual screw mechanism works well and is running freely; it is not showing any signs of blockage. It does not have its glass funnel although these are fairly easy to come by. There is a tiny bit of rust underneath the brass stand(see photos) ... moreThe pattern has been transfer printed onto the ceramic body and has then been hand coloured and then glazed. There is the same design on both sides of the lamp depicting cherubs/angels/putti/amours with a woodland floral theme. There is some staining on one side of the faience commensurate with its age and use and one tiny firing fault(see photos) As shown in one picture. This lamp will look stunning as a table lamp and it can be converted easily to an electric lamp by an electrician(the lampshade shown in the photo is NOT included in this sale) Condition: Good for its considerable age and usage Measurements(approx. height(overall) 33 cm– 15” body: Ø 13 cm– 5” An authentic lamp which is both charming and very decorative; it will certainly bring a touch of French romance to your maison.
