The etched EAPG font is in excellent original condition and the Don Juan cameo base has been restored. Pedestal has new white paint and I see one cameo is pronounced and clear while the other is faint and hard to see Don's hat feather. Also I see the narrow section of the pedestal was damage and put back together. I do not know what technic the person used to do this repair and he has passed on now. Antique Beautiful Petite Single Shade Frosted Rose Flower Brass Chandelier Lamp
The frosted shade has a very nice Rose type flower pattern. Very old looking. Its about 18" long as hanging. The Single frosted glass crystal type shade is about 4.25" tall and just over 7" wide across bottom. Has a pull string chain on the knuckle. Needs new string and recommend getting the wires checked. Not sure but looks like maybe it can be reconfigured to mount from a wall. Looks like made of Brass ans steel. Has a few dings and signs of age and use adding character to this delightful antique. Like all oil lamps, it gives a beautiful soft light that adds atmosphere to any room. This is a really striking and attractive lamp in fantastic condition with a very unusual coloured font that graduates from deep turquoise to milky white. The font has no chips or cracks and is decoratively moulded in a basketwork design. The elegant upright stand is spelter. I think, with the look of bronze, and the base is shiny black ceramic. Richly coloured, curved art glass shade. The eight-panelled shade is"streaky" glass in marbled shades of green. Amber, brown and white in a gilded spelter frame. The lampshade is topped with a large flower-shaped crown. The shade is held in place by a small, round, finial held in place by a threaded mount. The eight border panels are separated by 3/4" wide flat. Gilded centre bars with double raised lines ... moredown the middle. The bars are framed by a raised line on either side. These centre bars are further enhanced by five, raised, extended open rectangles on either side. The border panels along the edge of the shade feature"streaky" glass in shades of purple. Turquoise blue and white. These horizontial rectangular panels have curvilinear frames with fretwork reminiscent of a garden gazebo with leaves. The metal frames are painted with gilt, green and muted shades of brown. The lamp base consists of one long rounded. Four-panelled post that is wider at the bottom than at the top. It curves down from circular rondelle at the neck widening to another rondelle at the bottom. The lamp post then rests on a beautiful rounded gilt base decorated with a pattern of four panels of wide raised geometric lines. Vintage Marbro Lamp Dark Onyx W/Shade Beautiful and rare color
Beautiful Marbor Lamp made of solid Onyx in excellent vintage condition. NO breaks or repairs. Just very minor knick and I mean knicks can easily be pollished out. The over all height to the top of the finial is 34 1/2" and the base is 6 1/2" square. The lamp shade is 18" round. I have not checked to see if it works but I would suggest to have it rewired. It looks ok but I think it best for a lamp this age to have it done. I would gather it to be from the 1920's definetly mid Century. Just a stunning piece and hard to find in this color. Absolutely gorgeous 1920's Art Nouveau/ Deco natural nautilus shaped seashell electric lamp. Beautiful natural Mother Of Pearl and peach coloration. Exceptional muted light. Lighted shell sits atop another partial natural shell that houses the wiring and switch. Measures 7 1/2" tall. 5" wide and 4" front to back. The only problem that I see with the piece is the fact that the small cardboard paper insert that would have originally been inside the plug is missing. Not a big deal at all and the lamp functions perfectly. Off on switch works as it should. Wiring is in excellent condition. Piece has a few tiny surface scratches here and there. No chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs of any kind. Piece is completely original and has not been tampered with. Only the bulbs have been changed over the years. Allowing the lamp to be raised and lowered, on wooden wheels making for a noiseless raising and lowering operation. There by allowing the inner lamp to be serviced.The charmingly etched cylindrical shade(10 inches high with an 18 inch diameter) is clear and etched with a wild strawberry motif popular in the 1870's.
