I have up for sale a wonderful vintage circa 1910-1920s signed H A BEST LAMP CO Chicago. Ill USA lamp base- originally meant for a slag glass lamp. The ring diameter for the ring fitter would be approx 2-3/4" diameter. The lamp is very ornate and has the original antique gold finish. It stands approx 22" no including the finial which may or may not be the original but looks good together. It is in Very Good to Excellent Condition- No damages but a few minor manufacturing mold imperfections- a few small inclusions- basically what you see in pic#2- maybe a couple more but nothing thats any real big deal. No chips. No cracks, No repairs, its as it was from the factory. I am unsure if the sockets are original or not- The top caps have a bright yellowish tint but the bottoms look correct- I am not sure just pointing out what I see. Beautiful! Purchased this lamp along with other antiques from an estate of A Naval Rear Admiral originally from the Coronado California area. He had many wonderful items! I cannot find a signature on the lamp shade. Although I may be missing something. Also, there is no felt or bottom covering on the base. The socket is signed, but this is for the hardware manufacturer. Several antique dealers have looked at shade but no definitive answer. Except it is truly beautiful! Multi shades of color accented with a stunning irridescence. The underside of shade has the colors in their more solid form. And on the outside is this wonderful and captivating coloring. Amazing. The rim of shade has no chips, just slight roughness. Shade is excellent. The metal base does has some discolor here& there. The lamp works and cord is fine. Some wear and/or small chips to the finish. Measures 16 1/2" assembled. The shade itself is 6 1/2" tall and the opening is 7" across. Antique lamp base part for slag glass shade , Bradley and Hubbard
This antique base is not si gned but I have seen it on Bradley and Hubbard lamps so I have listed it as such. It is primarily made of pot mteal with a br ass stem and steel socket cluster. All are painted in a bronze col ored finish with gilt highlights. The paint has some chipping and could use some restor ation. Other than that this base is in fine condition. It is not cracked bent or broken in any way. It is 20" tall and measures 8 1/2"across the widest dimension of the bottom. T he top of the socket cluster measures 1 3/4" It weighs 5 3/4 pounds. Feel free to contact me if you have questions about my shipping policies. From a fabulous estate at a wonderful old home. This impressive old lamp is unmarked. My opinion is that the glass is Bohemian. It's quite beautiful with a heavy glass center that appears to be ruby red(I think, rather than"flashed" red) which is cut to clear in a geometric pattern. The fittings appear to be brass and the base/ foot is marble(with felt lining on bottom. A fairly large piece. The glass measures approximately 6" in diameter. The base is about 5" square. Not counting ... morethe finial, it is 18 1/4" tall. This piece appears to be in generally excellent used/old condition and- as you can see in the next to last pic- it works great. I don't see any cracks or damage on the cord. Either. However, I can not remove the harp. and I am not going to try to force it. The only damage I see is some green on the stem- discoloration or just needs cleaning/ polishing? Please do examine the pictures carefully but note that any bright white and/or yellow spots on pics are just glare/flash! Light bluish. It needs rewiring and has a visible crack at the top of the glass base. It has birds on its base, peacocks, herons and phoenix I believe. It appears possibly 1950's to me, almost has a deco look to it. Thought this one was worth salvaging because of it's unique appearance. Also has ornate metal brass colored base. Antique Art Deco Bronze Woman Lamp with Marble Base and Art Glass Shade
This lamp has been sitting in my grandmother's home ever since purchased in the 1930's and has sat in a niche in her stairwell for as long as I can remember. Now I inherited it. Had it rewired. The original cloth wiring was in bad shape. It has its original, very delicate glass shade which is held on by two screws(as seen in pictures) Lamp is fragile and glass is only held on by the two screws. It is in wonderful condition for its age. It was purchased in France and it is French in origin. I have yet to see another one like it. Lamp is 15" tall by 7" wide by 7" deep. Paulding lamp with glass base
Up for sale today is a glass lamp base with a Paulding light fixture. To me it looks as if this may have been an oil lamp converted to electric but I'm not completely sure. The top of the Paulding fixture unscrews from the base. It is 9.5 inches tall including the bulb and the base has a diameter of 3.25 inches. I have not plugged the lamp in but otherwise appears to be in good condition.

The glass is actually pink frosted rather than behind glass p aint ed so the tone is consistent and even throughout. Lovely when sunlight shines through it. There are small production ruffs along the inside of the bottom and there may be the odd small nibble. But they must be very small because I ca n't see any. The wiring was redone years ago and the white plastic cord needs a good clean. If you'd like to rewire the lamp it's a simple project. No manufacturing marks found. Two tone bronze patinas. Base is yellow bronze casting the upper classical urn body is a dark liver patina. I took the base apart looking for identifying larks and showed interior in photos. Light sockets work with original wiring and toggles. this is a slag lamp base from the 1920's sturdy enough to hold a very large slag glass canapy. Only one defect is minor dent in the shadows of side that I backlighted to exaggerate for you to see better. It is not noticable. Found in North Crown Heights. Brooklyn Historic district.

Up for Sale is a Vintage hand painted porcelain lamp with brass base& green ornate glass. There is a signature on the porcelain section. But it is hard to tell the spelling. The best I can make out is Plux. You can tell the light socket part is new& the plug at the end of the cord is new. It is in excellent shape and a beautiful lamp. Only the felt on the base is ripped and has a 1-¼ x 2-¼ piece tore out. Thought about keep it for myself. I will not ship with a light. All descriptions given are our honest opinion. This belonged to my Mother. As a child growing up in the 1950's I remember this having a large Tiffany style shade about 20"24" in diameter on it. After she passed away lamp shade got separated from base accidentally and got sold. It has a Bryant Electric Company single pull switch that operates each lamp separately and simultaneously, it works fine. Very heavy lamp weighing almost 5 pounds. Up for your consideration is an antique floor lamp– 64” tall with a 22” diameter green slag glass shade in excellent condition. No cracks or breaks. The wood pole is a substantial piece– 12-1/2” diameter solid base maple base with a hole in the center for wiring. The pole section of the lamp has a bottom dimeter of 5” and tapers slowly to a 2-3/4” diameter at the top. It is an uncommon heavy base that easily supports the large glass shade. Because of its large size it will all have to be shipped in 2-3 boxes. Reassembly may not require tools and I am always on line should you need help. Shipping will be FREE.

1930s antique bridge floor lamp with houze glass base, brass outer tubing
Up for auciton is this 1930s lamp that has a seven inch square houze glass base. The lamp retains some of its original green. Red and gold paint on its bridge, column break adn column pieces. The brass pole pieces are very clean. The lamp base as well as other pcs are clean. Minor cleaning should be done to the bottom of the base. I have replaced the glass piece with a chip and crack free base. The paddle wheel socket work. Buyer will have to rewire the lamp. To protect the pieces. The lamp will be taken apart, pieces number and instructions given for reassembly. I would like to thank all my past customers. With over 150 lamp sales. Here is a gorgeous Bohemian ruby red& white cut glass coin lamp with a brass L&L base. Number 6784. It stands 34 inches tall, the glass itself is 18 inches, the base is 4 inches and the harp is 12-13 inches. The diameter of the glass base is 7 inches. It has very little wear on it and no damage with the exception of a slight nick in the base gilt trim line, see photo) its hard to see, its tiny! There are no paint losses or glass chips I found, and the cutting of the white to red glass is first class workmanship. There is no shade or finial on this lamp. This listing is for a beautiful banker's style desk lamp with gorgeous black glass shade and black marble and brass base. I believe the marble on the base is real as lamp is very heavy at 4.5 lbs. But the marble on the column feels faux, but I could be wrong. I believe the brass is also real as magnets do not stick to it. Black glass shade is intact and is not broken and it has no chips or cracks. The brass base is tarnished and could use a polishing. I will leave that to the new owner. 13 inch high figural stem oil Lamp. This lamp has a 4 7/8 X 4 7/8 inch X 1 inch high metal base. The figure is the bust of a beautiful woman. The figure is 6 inches tall and is supporting a brass colored base that holds a glass font for the lamp oil. The glass is 3 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches across. On top of that is a brass colored cover that the burner screws into. The glass font has some etching on it. There are 2 cracks in the glass font. The font could be turned so that the cracks were in back. Lamp has fine detail.

There is slightly more white plaster adhesive showing on one side where the font is attached to the bronze base, than on the other, so it looks like it wasn't quite sitting square when the base was fitted. OVER ALL TO TOP OF FINIAL IS 26" GLASS IS 9" X 3-1/2" CAST BASE IS 5" WIDE
