It has lovely carved accents and trim. The key is intact with it and the little side supports come out automatically when the front writing desk surface is lowered. Someone has unfortunately drilled a hole in the back that is about 2" in diameter. The desk has 4 drawers with all of the original knobs intact. It stands 41" tall at the trim at the back, 40" tall at the top, is 41" wide at the feet, 37" wide at the top, and is a total of 22" deep at the bottom, and 19" deep at the top.

ANTIQUE SOLID WOOD 7 DRAWER WRITING DESK MAHOGANY COLOR WITH BALL IN CLAW FEET
SOLID WOOD ANTIQUE WRITING DESK WITH 7 DRAWERS AND BALL IN CLAW FEET OUTSTANDING Mahogany Colored desk with seven drawers. One middle, and three on both sides with brass pull handles. This Attractive writing desk is made out of solid wood, and it has a Victorian style medium/dark red/brown stain finish color that makes it look like Mahogany but it is definitely a hard wood that looks more like OAK to me. There is a slight curve to the front to the drawer sides which adds a very nice flair. The top is solid wood, not veneer. It is in it’s original condition so there are scratches on the desktop due to normal everyday wear. There is a Decorative edge that has been added to the edge of the top that may not have been original. In My Opinion this desk is in excellent condition other than the top which I would grade very good. LOOK At My Photos ... moreand make your own decision. This wonderful desk has dove-tailed drawer joints and made out of solid wood on the inside and the back. The three drawers on each pedestal side and a large center drawer opens and closes as when new. Measurements are: 41” in Length. 19 1/2" Deep, and 30" High. Vintage Cherry Wood Secratary Desk. Key,Drawers,hidden compartments,claw feet
Cleaning out items that I just don't use. I have had this secretary I purchased from an estate auction several years ago. We just don't use it. It sits in a corner. Nobody sees. It's a shame, because it is a beautiful piece. The pictures have some little white spots on them, they were on the lens, not on the desk. The desk measures 31" Wide x 41" tall x 17" deep. Fairly good shape,few hairline scratches on the top. There is lots of storage, with a few hidden spots, the 2 doors on the sides of small door. The key is intact. Email me for more photos. Beautiful antuique secretary's desk. Completely refinished and painted in a neutral tan shade. Lightly distressed and antiqued to give it an old world look. Sealed with an antique finish to give it a factory feel. The removable inside organizing unit has lots of drawers and cubbies. It has been painted and antiqued in a sage green to slightly off set in from the desk. Unique one of a kind piece.
