It has a flexible roll top, flat writing surface, storage compartments with a little drawer, plus two larger drawers on the right. Other than some marker marks and pencil and crayon on the oak writing surface and the same on the inside bottom of the drawers. This has remained solid and beautifully crafted ready to hand down to a new fortunate child. At one time, this had a key for the drawers and the roll top. Antique Childrens Roll Top Desk With Height Adjustable Chair
This is an awesome antique desk that is great condition with no signs of wear for its age. There are some crayon marks on the inside of the drawers from the child who previously owned this desk but other than that there are not any blemishes on this desk what so ever. The roll top still opens and closes smoothly and the chair adjusts to different heights with ease. The chair that comes with the desk is one that you don't see anymore with the screw in or out bottom that adjusts the height up or down depending on what way you turn it. This would make a perfect play station/art station for any child as well as adding a nice decor to the room or house it is in. Here is a"Eastman Line Childrens Furniture" roll top desk and matching adjustable-height swivel chair. This was purchased for me as an antique(early 1900s I believe) by my father when I was a kid(50 years ago) I hate to part with it but I am moving and can't take it with me.
