We are pleased to offer this very special lamp. Dating to the 1880s. This beautiful lamp is truly an art piece. It features a large or ornate cast iron base with either pewter or silver plate hardware just above. Seated in the mid section of the lamp is a wonderful spelter Greyhound or Whippet dog sculpture. This beautiful piece is nicely detailed and the collared dog is gorgeous. He is seated upon a pewter or silver plate piece which is incised and resembles a cobblestone or bricked surface. A lall and slender brass column is positioned behind the dog and attached the lamp base to the brass oil reservoir. The brass reservoir is large. It has a few minor dings but is in good condition. There is a area on the upper section which is opened and does not have a cover(see picture 9) I am not sure what this is. The original font has been replaced, ... moreprobably when the lamp was converted. However, it would be very easy to return the lamp to oil burning if you so desired. The lamp has a beautiful, golden yellow shade with Eagle and Star pattern. It is very nice with some minor wear. This lamp is quite rare and exceptional. It is in overall wonderful condition but it does have some minor signs of age and use. It is a gorgeous piece of 19th century art! The lamp is quite large. It measures 24" to the top of the burner. The dog sculpture is 7" tall. The lamp is 32" tall with the shade attached. The shade is 8" tall with a 10" fitter measurement. The lamp base is 9" in diameter. It has a new replacement flame spreader. The shade gallery is in good order and supports the beautiful satin glass pale pink shade which is moulded with the same acanthus leaf design interspersed with daisy type flowers. Antique Vintage Hanging Oil Lamp Connverted Top and Bottom Light Up Brass Glass
Nice old oil lamp that was converted to electric. The top and/or bottom light up. There is a small chip to the top rim of the glass shade and very minor spots of wear to the brass. There are 18 glass prisms. It measures 10 inches wide and 20 inches high. It is set up to be wired directly to the ceiling and it hangs down 12 inches from the ceiling however you could add two chains if you wanted it to hang lower. I just hung it from a bungee cord to take pictures.

This auction is for a superb quality. Hand blown, heavy cut glass/crystal oil lamp font that comes with a brass oil lamp burner 1.5"3.8cm screw collar. This has not been fitted. Victorian in date. The font weighs 600g unpacked. It measures 5.5"14cm diameter across the top and stands just under 4.5"11cm tall. It can either be free standing or sit in a 5.25"13.3cm drop in ring. Condition is excellent. It appears not to have been used much if at all. The foot shows very light signs of wear(see pic) and there are no chips or cracks. I have pictured two marks in the glass from when the font was originally blown. These are not chips or cracks. Large Victorian Frilled Cranberry Glass Oil Lamp Shade Here is a nice example of a late Victorian cranberry glass oil lamp shade which has quilted decoration to the sides and an attractive frilled rim. It stands 8.375 inches high and measures 9.875 inches wide across the frilled rim and 5.5 inches in diameter across the base. For accuracy there are several tiny specks within the glass and one tiny rough speck on the rim. All of which have occurred during manufacture and in no way detract. There are no chips or cracks and the cranberry colour is strong. Up for bid is this vintage cased glass lamp shade. It is in good condition. It has a ground rim and the fitter side is ground also. It has a few tiny fleabites. But not bad. It is cased glass with white glass in the middle and pink on the outside and inside. This is thick glass. It was made in America. It measures 18"T x 2" shade rim x 4 1/8"base. The glass bottom is in good condition with the exception of some small chips at the base and the top rim. The frosted glass shade is in good condition but has scratches on the bottom portion from rubbing on lamp burner. The lamp burner shows signs of use. There are some cracks on the part that connects to the neck of the lamp and will need to be glued on in the right position. It tends to make the glass shade crooked. This auction is for an unusual and good quality Victorian free-standing/drop-in oil lamp font with fine facet cut decoration to the sides and top surface(see pics) The font measures just under 6"15 cm in diameter. It stands just under 5"12.5 cm tall to the top of the brass oil lamp burner collar. It should sit in a 5"12.7 cm diameter ring. The brass collar has a 1.5"3.8 cm screw thread. We are pleased to offer this GORGEOUS. Old, antique French converted oil lamp. The lamp is exceptional. Designed in the same manner as other French oil lamps of this period(late 1800s) this beauty is set apart by the fantastic color pattern. The lamp has a long center column of pink marble with lots of intricate and colorful veins. The marble ranges from a true pink with peach, deep plum and white veins. The glass oil reservoir is satin frost with raised, embossed leaves that rise from the bottom section of the bowl. There are three, large Iris flowers which circle the vessel. Each flower is a different color. There is a peach flower, a purple flower and a deep rose colored flower. The flower colors are not a reverse paint, but rather an opaque, stained effect color. This is a beautiful feature. The marble and glass are coupled with ornate ... morebronze hardware. The base features four, clawed, acanthus leaf feet that are formed into a fleur de lis as they move up the base. There is an intricate pattern of draped swags which join to form hearts or spades. Inside the hearts/spades are acanthus features. There are also Gothic/Celtic crosses which separate the patterns on the upper base section. Just above the base, at the lower column section, is a bronze torch"flame" The marble rests inside. A column cap finishes the marble column at the top. This is an exceptional, RARE lamp. It is in extremely nice condition for its age. There are no chips, cracks, etc. to either the glass or the marble. The gilt finish is still present and the bronze is gorgeous. This is an incredible lamp! The pictured shade is not included but the lamp does come with the harp(it is fixed) and a very nice, ornate finial. The lamp has been converted at some point to electric. Like all oil lamps, it gives a beautiful soft light that adds atmosphere to any room. This is a really striking and attractive lamp in fantastic condition with a very unusual coloured font that graduates from deep turquoise to milky white. The font has no chips or cracks and is decoratively moulded in a basketwork design. The elegant upright stand is spelter. I think, with the look of bronze, and the base is shiny black ceramic. There’s no maker’s mark on the base. But the screw fitting burner with twin thumbwheels is marked‘Duplex’ English Made’ The glass chimney. Antique glass oil lamp electrified/muslin shade. Gorgeous looking.
This was tagged a antique whale lamp that was electrified. It has a nice muslin shade with a great design in the fabric. The shade is a little soiled in 3 parts of the shade. I would turn that side to the back. Of course you have to look to notice due to the color of the fabric. I would not hesitate from using it just the way it is. It measures 10 1/2" from the bottom of the lamp to the bottom of the brass socket. Like I said the tag said whale lamp but you look it over to make sure that is the style. Gives off wonderful light because its a tall one and the shade is beige. Any questions please ask and thanks for looking.

Antique Vintage Oil Lamp And 2 Frosted Glass Shades
NO RESERVE AUCTION for antique green glass oil lamp and a pair of stunning shades. These are not matched item- the lamp likely had a regular glass oil lamp shade on it. The 2 shades are pink and powder-blue. With very minor chips to the color at the bottom edge of the pink one, and a spot of black'smudge' on the bottom of the blue one. Not sure what the black is(tar maybe) but have not attempted to clean it off in case I damaged the shade. They have matching beautiful raised patterns on the surface of a vine with berries and leaves. The lamp is about 11inch tall. The shades are approx. 6.5 inch diameter and 8.5 inch tall. A huge stunning antique glass oil kerosene lamp These really large antique oil lamps were termed“Massive Sewing” lamps. I presume that sewing took more light than reading at the table with a student lamp With help from glass experts. This has been identified as circa 1880’s to 1890’s piece made by the Riverside Glass Company– Massive Sewing Lamp The embossed design looks like eapg Princess Feather glass pattern to me. But this has not been verified by the experts. Size: approx 11 inches tall; 4 sided piece– width of each side approx 6 inches; width of base between the feet approx 6 inches. Condition: Lovely. The glass is bright and clear– No clouding– Design so very strong and showy– I see no cracks. But I did feel 2 tiny rough spots– one rough spot is underneath one of the legs and the other rough spot is on the edge of the brass collar– ... morevery tiny area of roughness. Collar looks like it has some wear– I am not an expert, so do not really no how to describe– please look at the photos Well packaged.
