Vtg Art Deco Half Doll Plaster Head Metal Arm Lady Electric LAMP UNUSUAL This is a Vintage Art Deco Plaster Head Metal Arm Electric Lady Half Doll Table Lamp. It measures approx 14" x 7" The dress is torn and needs to be replaced. The lamp frame is there but the cord/wiring is no longer there. Her hair is loose on one side. There are some small chips to the paint and plaster on her head. Her arms and hands are metal. With a Little TLC this could be a great piece! We will combine shipping whenever possible. PA, known as Port Richmond When we received the item it had a fair amount of dust built up on it so we did a quick wipe down of the smooth sections of the figurine Plese understand that dust is still present in the small detailed flowers in the baskets and around the base of the lamp as we do not clean any vintage or antique items We believe this is a Mid 20th Century Lamp made in Italy anytime between 1930 and 1960 On the underside of the lamp it is ... moremarked underglaze"F/113 or F/117 Italy" It hard to make out the final number in the three digit identification number Photo#5 shows the remains of a sticker that may have been a version of the Capodimonte stickers that were popular during the time we believe this lamp was made When it comes to the condition of the porcelain figurine. We believe it is in very good condition aside from the dust on the flowers, small chip on the inner side of one of the lady's hands, and some small chips in the base of the lamp The figurine and base look like they are two separate parts as large capodimonte lamps were during the Mid 20th Century The underside of the base has a grey felt material that has come away from the base on one side that allowed us to photo the marks The power cord seems to be original and when plugged in and a light bulb is placed in the socket. You are bidding on an old figural table lamp of Our Lady standing with a cross and wreath in front of her with three angel heads with wings at her feet. To her left and supporting the light bulb holder is what appears to be a church. There are no markings as to manufacturer. It is 9 inches long and 9 inches tall. It lights up fine with no off/on switch.simply plugs in when you want to use it. The color and wiring look great for it's age. The shade has a small chip on it's rim where it sits in the holder. Stunning 19c Art Nouveau Handpainted Sevres Style French Portrait Vase/Urn converted to a lamp. This lovely lamp is 22.5" tall and 7.5" wide. The porcelain urn is about 13" tall. It has wonderful details of a maiden surrounded by pretty Iris flowers. It is artist signed" Brices or Bricey? Nice gold detailing. The lamp works. But it needs to be rewired for safety. The two lamp chain pulls are different. I did not take apart the lamp or attempt a cleaning- I will leave that up to the experts. There is not a Sevres mark on the bottom of the porcelain, but there could be a mark on the inside of the urn lid. Now for condition: The metal is in good condition and the porcelain is also in good condition with no chips. Cracks, or crazing. There is a lot of gold detailing which is mostly intact on the center portion of the vase. ... moreThere is some minor gold loss on the lid, with more gold loss on the bottom portion of the vase. The paint is mostly intact with the exception of the bottom piece of the vase were there is more paint loss wear and some yellow spots. From a Kentucky Estate comes this fantastic Art Deco Lamp. It has 3 topless and semi-nude ladies leaning backward at the waist and with outstretched arms. As if hlding the light they are looking up at. The lamp is spelter with a bronze finish. It is 14" high and 7 1/2" wide. The lamp is in good condition with a small hole in the base that has been repaired with bondo. The globe known as the brain globe is amber. It has a 3 1/4" fitter. It has some roughness inside the fitter rim and te top is a little darker but there are no cracks or other damage. It has it's original cloth cord that sitll works good. Monumental Victorian Bronze Patinated Spelter Figural Lady Newel Lamp Light
Offered for your consideration is a very large newel lamp of the finest quality formed by a neoclassical art nouveau lady lifting a vessel atop her head. From which 5 vines emerge with lighted flowers at their tips. She stands on a black wooden plinth. I suspect that the base metal is spelter. Due to the weight, but perhaps it's bronze. The lamp is monumental in size. About 5 0 1/2" high by 16" wide. The piece is in remarkably good condition. It looks like portions of some leaves may be missing on the vines and aroun d the sockets at the top. T he only other possible flaw I see is a line across the base of the woman' s toes on her left p roper foot where they join her draped robe/gown. It may have been there from the ti me of casting. As it shows evidence of age. The wooden base shows a line from shrinkage over time. But ... moreis still completely stable. The p atination i s lovely. With only minimal signs of wear. Likely the result of a century of cleaning& polishing by previous owners. The wiring was re cent ly professionally updated/replaced with fine silk cord and a new plu g. I do not believe that the lamp originally had coordinating shades. Per se; I suspect that regular light bulbs were used. As it s purpose was to provide useful illumination. Alternatively. A variety of old and reproduction bulbs& bulb covers are available from various sources, if you do not already have them and care for that"look" If you are the winning bidder. The shade holder has two holes.One for a chain pull and one for a turn switch. This one uses a turn switch. The globe known as the brain globe is amber. It has a 3 1/4" fitter. Fabulous barsony lamp with the original black& red shade. The paintwork is still very good with a couple of teeny flecks& one small scratch. She displays beautifully. The shade is showing it's age. There is a small separation in the ribbons. Fading& some paint spots. When you turn it on you don't see the fade(last pic) I also had it displayed up high so it wasn't noticed. Reproduction Bronze Art Nouveau Tree Lady Lamp.
Reproduction of an Art Nouveau lamp. Features a woman next to a tree. Lamp is cast in bronze and the shade is a yellow dome with a bronze cage around it. 24" H x 12" W. There are three arms holding the shade to the base and as seen in photo#4 one arm is missing. I feel a Metalsmith could easily fabricate the arm since the base material is Bronze and not Spelter. It will need wired and a socket with fitter added so it will hold a shade. I also have shades listed now on ebay that will work. So please take a look. This lamp will need work and it may have been repaired at one time so look at photos and judge for yourself. It seems to have had some repairs around the top portion of the lamp. Do Not buy if you think this base is perfect. It would make a nice base if you are willing to work on it to make it complete.
