On the back side of the spoon it reads Sterling Totem Pole Pioneer Square, Seattle Washington. The measuring stick in the spoon does not come with the item but is there to show the size of the spoon. The spoon is approximately three and 3/4 inches in length. It is in very good condition. On the front side of the spoon is the image of Chief Seattle on top of the totem pole. Up for auction is a great old antique sterling silver souvenir spoon by Paye& Baker Mfg. Co. Spoon is from Olympia. Washington. The handle features state related images including the bust of George Washington and the inscription Washington down the handle. There is an eagle on the back side of the handle. The spoon bowl has an image of the capitol building and reads: State Capitol Olympia, Wash. Hallmarked on the back with initials P&B in individual hearts for Paye& Baker. Also marked sterling. Spoon measures 5 1/8" long and weighs 19 grams. In very nice condition with a fine old patina. Please see photos carefully for details. Fresh out of a fine old estate! VINTAGE EVERETT WASHINGTON STERLING SILVER TEA SPOON A lovely unusual souvenir teaspoon made by Joseph Meyer& Brothers which was located in Seattle until absorbed by Towle in the 1940s. The name"EVERETT" has been cut out of the handle of the spoon and"Everett Wash. has been engraved within the bowl in ornate script. This spoon is approx 5 1/8" long and it weighs approx. 11g. Marked Sterling. It has been hand polished and is shiny and bright with a normal patina for a vintage or antique piece of silver. There are small dents at both sides of the bowl consistent with someone trying to push the spoon into an opening that was too small for it. You can see the small dents if you magnify the first picture. Tracked and insured shipping is $6.00 within the U.S.
