A rare handle design-Marked PAT Oct. 11. 99 by the Watson& Newell Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts. The hallmark is a pennant that looks like a Harvard pennant with an H on it. However, according to research, the company foundrs owners didn't go to Harvard. So the H remains a hallmark mystery. No monogram and in excellent condition with normal scratches probably from little teeth on the bowl. Ready to begin a new history with a new addition to the family. The company was restructured in 1920 and eventually acquired by the Wallace Company in 1955, This unique handle design incorporates a charming cherub and fine detailing.
