Baker Manchester's Poppy Pattern was available as a line of tableware including serving pieces and at least some place pieces. This spoon is in fair condition for its age. On the handle at the top is the State Seal of Missouri under that are the state flowers of Missouri. White Hawthorn Blossoms and MISSOURI spelled down the handle. We try to include information about the spoon's subject in the packet we send after purchase but we could not find a picture of the High School to include. ALGONA has many positive stories including in the late 1800's when the community arranged to adopt 100 orphan children from NEW YORK because of overcrowding of immigrants. The spoon is stamped STERLING and has a maker's mark for LUNT/BAKER. The pattern is JEFFERSON. Pat.1883. The spoon is 5.75 INCHES long and weighs 18.1 GRAMS.

This is a BEAUTIFUL STERLING SILVER spoon The design comes from the BAKER/MANCHESTER FLORAL series. This teaspoon is POPPY pat. 1900. The GOLD VERMEIL coated BOWL is engraved with the words MILWAUKEE. WIS. The spoon is stamped STERLING on the back. It is 5.0 INCHES long and weighs 15.1 GRAMS.

Up for auction is an antique sterling silver Hotel Del Monte souvenir spoon. The hotel has a long history. The original buildings were built in 1880. Burnt twice. It was sold in 1947 and in 1951 became Naval Postgraduate School. The spoon is 5 1/2" long and in very good condition. The bowl depicts the hotel in Monterey, CA. The back has the Paye& Baker hallmarks and Sterling. Great collectible souvenir spoon. We guarantee it as described. Good luck with your bidding.
