Very Nice Sevres French Urn Unique Ram heads on each side of this beautiful porcelain piece. There is a hand painted scene of man and women feeding swans in a garden. It is in nice overall condition as seen in the photos with no cracks or chips. The bottom has the Sevres Looping L's with an S in the middle. ROYAL RUDOLSTADT HAND PAINTED COBALT & GILT VASES W/ GRIFFIN HANDLES CIRCA 1910
SIGNED ROYAL RUDOLSTADT HAND PAINTED POLYCHROME COBALT& GILT VASES WITH GRIFFIN HANDLES CIRCA 1910 This exquisite pair of vases in the French taste were made by Royal Rudolstadt. Beautifully hand painted. These vases have ribbed vertical panels of fruit and vines and gold enameled griffin handles on platform bases. The vases stand approximately 13 1/4" high by 5 3/4" wide. They are marked underfoot with the blue crown Royal Rudolstadt mark which was in use between 1895 and 1924. The vases are in outstanding overall condition with some light wear and some minor loss of gilt. One exception is that one of the handles has possibly had a very minor repair- see the last photo.

Features vase shaped bodies with hand-painted Cameo portraits of Neo-Classical man and woman surrounded with geometrical and wreath motives gold painted. Have pineapple finials. Both pieces are in a unique form and are completely hand painted. The rims and handles are gilt. The front of each piece has an agricultural scene and the backs have sprigs of flowers. The undersides are marked with the George Grainger& Company mark that was used between 1889-1902. This pair is in fabulous condition. Especially for their age. There are a couple of tiny spots along the rim where the gilding has worn but there are no chips, no cracks, no splits and no repairs. The mark is known as the'Versailles mark. The urn measures approximately 9 ½” high by 6” wide by 3 ½” diameter at the base. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is one exception: the finial on the lid appears to have been repaired– see photo. The portraits on each side are signed by the respective artists. Top and bottom are a striking deep royal or cobalt blue with gold decoration. Believed to have been made by Sevres. Here is a beautiful signed CLAMECY 19 c floral run. This elegant antic piece measures 10" tall and the diameter is 6" There is a mark CLAMECY under the bottom. There is a gold string at the end of the lid and at the end of the urn. The top of the lid has probablu been reglued but I am not sure; The piece is in good condition without crack! so good condition for its age!

The only mark is the impressed made in france in the bronze/brass base. CONDITION REPORT: The nut and threaded post are rusted. Some minor gold loss or edge of lid. Excellent original condition. It does appear that there is one very small piece of metal missing out of the rim of one of the urns(see last close-up photo) but because of the style of the rim it is difficult to detect. These appear to be unsigned. With the ormolu bases. Which I have not attempted to remove, sometimes the signature is covered up but I cannot see any signs of a mark.

19th century hand painted two-handled bisque compote with decor of blackberries
Late 19th century bisque porcelain two-handled compote or cup hand-painted with motif of blackberries and leaves. The cup stands on a square base measuring 3 inches by 3 inches. A stem rises from this base to the circular cup or bowl on either side of which are handles pained in a pale lavender tone. The front of the cup is adorned with a motif of blackberries. Leaves, vines and berry blossoms against a lilac and pale yellow background. The rear of the cup also has a smaller motif of three blackberries surrounded by pale green leaves, three white blossoms and vines also against a pale lilac and yellow ground. A wonderful feature of this cup is the grisaille(or monotone gray) interior painting featuring a garland of leaves, berries and vines that circles the rim of the cup with individual berries cascading down into the bowl. It is lavishly decorated with gold trim over a maroon ground with green accents. All against the white of the porcelain. The title of the portrait on the front is recorded in hand painted script on the bottom of the base as(if I read it correctly) Theseus findet das Schuverd seines Vaters” Which I gather deals with Theseus of Greek mythology being sent to find his father’s(Aegeas) weapons and gain his birthright. I want to clarify that this piece is 100% hand painted. I have looked the portrait area ... moreover with a loupe and assure you it is all 100% hand painted. As is all the trim decoration and the artist signature of“Kaufman” signed in gold script. The urn itself is comprised of 3 separate pieces of porcelain and is bolted together with a long threaded metal rod and nut. The upper section is the part with the portrait and the handles and is about 7” tall. The middle section is only about 3” tall and is basically just the stem with a small square foot that fits into the larger square base. The bottom section. The large square base is about 4.5” tall. With the lid. Which is about 3” tall, there are a total of 4 separate porcelain pieces making up this piece. I have not attempted to unbolt the urn to try and take it apart. The underside of the square base of the urn is marked with a blue beehive and the word‘AUSTRIA” beneath it. I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. EXCELLENT IMPRESSIVE PAIR C1890 DRESDEN PORCELAIN HAND PAINTED VASES WITH COVERS This listing is for a very fine pair circa 1886 Dresden covered vases. The pair measures 12 inches(30 cm) tall and are 7 inches(18 cm) from handle to handle. The vases are attached to a porcelain bases. The pair are beautifully hand painted with excellent detail. Both feature two different paintings on each vase. These paintings are surrounded by a heavy applied gold"frame" The vases are further elaborately decorated with extremely heavy applied gold. The background of the vases is a very deep and rich cobalt blue. The handles are elaborate and dripping in gold. The covers match the vases and are topped with a wreath finial. The bottom of each vase have the blue under glaze Dresden mark of Helena Wolfsohn. This listing if for a Royal Vienna cabinet urn. It measures 6 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" from handle to handle. It features a woman seated in the forest. The urn is hand painted and signed"Foster" on the lower left. The urn is green with gold tone leaves and vines. Some gold tone on the handles and edges has worn off. See the pictures.
