Hand painted, porcelain urn made by Royal Vienna during the lat 19th century. The piece is exquisitely done in shades of dark cobalt blue and gold. The center of the urn has a hand painted courting scene showing a man and woman in a garden. The scene is very detailed as are all of the gilt decorations that surround the scene and ornament the urn, pedestal, and lid. On the side of the urn opposite the scene, there is an intricate gilt decoration. The piece has only the most minor of wear to the gilt on the top of the lid and on the rim of the urn where the lid sits. The lid itself has two hairlines to the internal part of the lip that sits inside the urn. But these are not visible ... morewhen the lid is on the urn and do not affect the visual aesthetics of the piece in any way. Otherwise, there are no cracks, no chips, no breaks, and no repairs of any kind. The Royal Vienna beehive mark is visible on the bottom of the urn. This piece dates from approximately 1860-1890. Royal Vienna Mould Antique Porcelain Cabinet Portrait Vase Urn Exquisite
This exquisite piece is 10 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide at either the side handles or at the ends of the protruding lion's heads. The cartouche portrait(polychrome? is of a beautiful young woman in Austrian garb. This cobalt blue vase shows generous gold gilt(minor rubbing) detailing and solid gold accents as in the amazingly well done lion heads. This cabinet vase/urn has a removable top-as shown in the photos-and both the top and body are in VG condition with no cracks. Chips, or nicks. Following my personal research I believe this to be from the post Royal Vienna(The Imperial and Royal Porcelain Factory) closure. These moulds were purchased by Ernst Whaliss and were utilized by him. His sons and colleagues to continue these exquisite cabinet pieces. The watermarks are worn but appear to absolutely be genuine-with clearly an ... moreabsence of fraudulent over apparent(underglaze or otherwise) marks. There is an imprinted underglaze number 5773 and a gold painted roman numeral VI or six. These marks are consistent with a Royal Vienna porcelain centerpiece currently on ebay. I am not an antique dealer and am not capable of authenticating the above(other than allowing the photos to testify in beauty and veracity) nor am I situated to offer refunds. I can tell you that this was from the estate of Captain Nathan Woodworth Post. As is all the trim decoration and the artist signature of“Kaufman” signed in gold script. The urn itself is comprised of 3 separate pieces of porcelain and is bolted together with a long threaded metal rod and nut. The upper section is the part with the portrait and the handles and is about 7” tall. The middle section is only about 3” tall and is basically just the stem with a small square foot that fits into the larger square base. The bottom section. The large square base is about 4.5” tall. With the lid. Which is about 3” tall, there are a total of 4 separate porcelain pieces making up this piece. I have not attempted to unbolt the urn to try and take it apart. The underside of the square base of the urn is marked with a blue beehive and the word‘AUSTRIA” beneath it. I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. 52340 PR ANTIQUE 1890s ROYAL VIENNA PORCELAIN & BRONZE 22" W PAINTED LADY URN
A wonderful pair of antique. Circa 1890's, Royal Vienna porcelain type(probably Austrian or German porcelain, not removed from mounts. They are finely hand painted on the front reserve with two late Victorian beautiful young ladies, surrounded by raised gilt flowers and leaves, the foot and shoulder of the vase in cobalt blue glaze. The bronze mounts are in the style of Louis XVI, with onyx block bases. They measure 22" tall by 6-1/2" square at paw feet. Both had been converted to electric lamp bases, the fixtures now removed, the finials not original. Very good plus condition: porcelain without chips or cracks, a few minor scratches to enamel, not by figure on one urn. The original gilt finish has worn off the metal, the onyx without damage. The lovely pair is for one price.

Vintage Royal Vienna footed urn with scene signed Queen with dying man soldiers
This beautiful Royal Vienna style urn is 12 ¼ inches tall and 6 inches wide. It has a bolt to hold the piece together. There is a transfer scene of a woman with a crown. Probably a Queen bending on the bed of an old man that is surely dying. There are soldiers standing in the background. The vase is nicely gilded with various patterns around the piece. The vase has the shield mark usually associated with Royal Vienna and a mark that says made in Austria. It also has writing in black on the bottom which was likely from the decorator or manufacturer. The urn dates to the early 20 th century. The urn is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. It may have started life with a lid, if so we do not have it. There is some wear to the gilding on the handles.

Antique Royal Vienna style urn classical scene with cherubs porcelain insert 19t
This porcelain urn is set on a spelter base and has spelter mounts. The urn is 11 inches tall and the base is 3 ¾ by 3 ¼ inches. The piece has a porcelain insert on the bottom that is decorated. The urn and porcelain insert have scenes of classical images with cherubs. The decoration is done by hand applied transfer. There is a decorative fitting at the top that goes through the porcelain vase/urn. The piece is unsigned. It dates to the late 19 th century and was either made by Royal Vienna or one of the other Bohemian makers. The top fitting has been scratches on the leaves. The urn is loose including the top fitting and can use being tightened. There is a spot where the screw goes through the porcelain that may have some slight chipping. Please see the picture. There is a scratch to the vase on the front.

A very fine antique. Circa 1890, Royal Vienna porcelain bolted urn. It is entirely hand enamel painted. The background is a rose Du Barry. The front reserve is with a mythical figural group, the artist signed lower right in gilt: A. Herr. The reverse reserve has a floating figure. The urn and plinth are trimmed in gilt and white enamel. The urn may be missing a lid. It measures 10-1/2" tall by 6" wide at handles. Excellent condition: without chips or cracks, enamels and gilt unworn. The underside is marked with the blue beehive(shield) of Royal Vienna.

Royal Vienna Urn/Lamp Hand Painted. Burgandy, Green, Cream and Gold with Scene
This is a striking 16" Royal Vienna urn or lamp base decorated with many shapes. Such as squares, lines and circles.The colors used are burgundy, dark green, yellow, cream and dots of blue. They are all either outlined with gold or use gold in the design. It was made by Ackermann& Fritze in Volkstedt, Germany between1908-1951. The main focus is the painting of an older robed man consoling a distressed young man. Pictures eight and nine show the opening for a lamp cord and there is also a smaller opening at the top for cord. There is one repair to the urn on the white and gold ring directly beneath the painting. It was shown to me when I purchased the urn and to me it does not detract from the age and beauty of this Royal Vienna urn. The urn has a burgandy wine luster glaze ground upon white porcelain. The urn has curved double handles and is made of three pieces. The body of the vase section has a center medallion which is hand painted and signed by artist"Rosler" The painting is of a lovely maiden with beautiful details. The back side has three chinoiserie vignettes. Done in heavy raised gold gilt. The entire vase is decorated with heavy raised gold gilt scroll, floral and vine work all over the burgandy wine glaze. Today for your consideration is what I THINK is a Royal Vienna 1890's small urn. I am NO expert& this is the first& only Austria piece I have owned. I have had it so long in my collection I sware to you. I have no idea when or where I got it: Just been in my china closet forever. Hand painted& artist signed. Name is(My best guess anyway) is"Liebal" or"Liebel" I have blown up the signature the best I can so you can see ... morefor yourself. The reason I think it is a Royal Vienna is because of the mark above the blue or black ink stamp"Austria" is what appears to be a bee hive like shape. I have researched a little& from what I have found it is the mark for Royal Vienna. Approx. 1890's. The artist I can not find on eBay but I have not researched online any where else. In some of the gold painted area's it is slightly raised. The dot designs. The frame of the painting& The top base& also the very bottom of the vase/ urn. The 2 pieces are together with metal pieces. One looks like lead washer& then a brass rounded nut? some sort of like rod or screw between the 2 pieces. Inside the vase looks to be a thin square cut piece of cork that was used as a washer& 90% still in tact. Then there is a brass flat looking button or top that is smooth. Although there is wear to the gold handles(light) at the top of the handles I can find no other flaws. No chips, no cracks, no problems at all. If there was a lid, which I do not believe there ever was because the trim is painted gold at the top, but if there was, I never got to see one. It is approx. 6& 1/2" tall. Inclu
