Don't touch the spool until your bait hits the water.Smiles I've always cleaned and stored them inside and have kept a cover on them to keep them from getting beat up. This auction is for TWO matching urns. Hand-painted porcelain and bronze. These are beautiful bronze and porcelain urns with lids. They have a rich black and coral coloring with yellow detailing. The design is classic French Revolution and the piece features two cherubs at the handles along with the traditional pineapple at the lid. The"United Wilson" foundry mark is clearly visible at the inside base along with the date 1897. I am told that these are copies of the originals that sell for more than $12.00 each. I paid $3,000 for the pair back in 2000 when I bought them from an antique dealer in San Francisco, CA. Each urn measures approximately 7" X 7" at the base. Age: Victorian circa 1900 Each measures 5cm(2" across and will project 6cm(2 1/2" from the door. Condition: All the glass is exceptional and without damage. Except for one which has scuffs to its face and one side. All the centers sparkle beautifully, but there are some small areas of mercury loss around the outside edges. The shanks on two knobs are a little mishaped. All of these are minor issues and none will be noticeable when the knobs are in situ. This attractive silver plated lidded oval entrée or vegetable serving dish has a beautifully chased scroll and leaf design to the fitted lid. It has two handles and the dish has a rolled rim. The diameter of the handle is 38mm. I would estimate they are Victorian. They are in good condition except one of the handles has a small chip on one of the cut glass corners, but when in position, this will not show. I am having a really good clear out after refurbishing many flats and houses over the past 20 years! So selling all my old unused handles and knobs. I will also combine postage.
