For consideration is this Sevres Style Boucher Urn Vase Hand Painted Scenes& Pedestal Base. The piece stands nearly 16" tall w/ lid. The courting couples portion of the urn is a transfer, but all the back grounds are hand painted, including the reverse lake scene with swans swimming. The urn has two heavy gilded handles, along with the acorn finial. The gold overlay decoration on the footed base, and neck of urn shows just minor wear. There are no cracks, or chips. Antique Sevres bronze dore hand painted urn vase signed Dorival 19th French
This sevres urn is 17 ½ inches tall including the lid. It has gilt metal handles. It has a hand painted classical scene in the center that goes all the way around the piece. It depicts a woman with a cherub by her side. The small wings on the cherub are visible on his back. The side of the center portion is signed by the artist that looks to be Dorival. The top and bottom of the urn including the lid is in a deep cobalt blue color. All the cobalt pieces have flowers. Likely roses done in relief in gold. The lid has an acorn finial. There is a Sevres mark painted on the underside of the lid. The piece dates circa 1870. It has an old sticker on the back that is partially removed but we believe it says Empire Bazaar Buenos Aires. This piece has certainly traveled the world. There are two chips on the lid. Both have been repaired or painted ... moreover. There is some gilding missing and a couple of chips on the top of the cobalt blue at the bottom. There is a small firing pop on the back of the hand painted scene. The front features a framed circular vignette with a landscape scene of a Mill house, horse and rider with woman walking. On the reverse also circular is another framed vignette featuring a Cottage with lake, boat and 3 people. The white porcelain body is covered with bands of swirl, feather and gilt patterns. Up for auction is a antique Sevres style French porcelain urn vase with cover. The cover has a figural pineapple or acorn finial. It is signed with a green shield or coat of arms crest and Hand Painted Made In France with the number 36 on the bottom. The top has an ornate flowing scroll bronze ormolu mounting. The mounting appears to be slightly bent when viewing from the sides. I'm not sure if it was made that way. The top and bottom rims are ormolu mounted as well. Three scrolled feet with figural shells or medallions decorate the pedestal base. Beautiful hand painted gold gilded rose flowers with a lattice style grid motif decorate the body. Some loss to the gold gilding. Minimal to the floral motifs. Some ... moreof the gilded bands may have been retouched/repainted. A large center cartouche or medallion has a transfer hand embellished Fragonard style romance scene. The dimensions to the top of finial is 11 7/8" tall by 2 7/8" across the porcelain part of the base(bronze mounting not included in measurements) The stem sometimes loosens up when urn is moved around. There is a metal rod that runs from the bottom to the underside of the cover. By turning both ends at the same time it tightens the vase making it stable. KPM, Dresden, Royal Vienna, and Cybis just to name a few. This is not my area of expertise so I will rely on my pictures to tell the story. I see no breaks. Chips, or cracks. Although no mark is readily visable, I am afraid to disassemble this to look for the mark. You collectors should know the quality from the pictures. The only problems I see(and some of these might have come this way with production) include the acorn finale looks a little bent? on one angle/ one nut holding the ormolu handles is new/ and there is some white residue in some of the crevices of the metal frame work. Here is a lovely SEVRES Portrait Urn/Vase. It is signed inside the lid L Sevres. It has a metal acorn finial attached to the lid. The delicate portrait depicts a seated maiden and a cherub. The vase has a scene painted all the way around front and back. The back shows a lake and wooded area. There is an artist signature ALY. There is heavy gilding applied to the vase. Some of the gilding shows wear and has lines thru it that appear to be separations in the gilt paint. They are not cracks in the porcelain just the gilding. I have taken many pix of this. Circa 1890-1900, measures 66 by 22 by 16 in(167 by 56 by 41 cm) It features a beautiful painting of a cloud-born muse surrounded by cherubs, and is signed by the artist, Maxant. It also has large gilt bronze mounts including cherubs nestled in foliate designs at the shoulders, pomegranate finial, and pedestal. Condition is very good. Glazed finish shows craquelure and there are no known restorations or visible damages. This item is currently offered for sale in our client's retail shop. Here is a lovely SEVRES STYLE Portrait Urn/Vase. It is signed inside the lid L Sevres. Unsure if this is the original Sevres Factory or a vase made in the STYLE of Sevres. It has a metal acorn finial attached to the lid. The delicate portrait depicts a seated maiden and a cherub. The vase has a scene painted all the way around front and back. The back shows a lake and wooded area. There is an artist signature ALY. There is heavy gilding applied to the vase. Some of the gilding shows wear and has lines thru it that appear to be separations in the gilt paint. They are not cracks in the porcelain just the gilding. I have taken many pix of this. Antique 19th Century Sevres Vase Urn w/ Orig Label, Signed Rolli - NO RESERVE
Up for auction- No Reserve- is a beautiful handpainted antique late 19th century Sevres vase/ urn signed Rolli. Scene on front depicts pretty maiden and cherub. Heavy raised gold detailing throughout and especially on back. Mounted on white marble pedestal- there is a crack/break in the base that was repaired(see last photos) It's not very noticeable unless looking up close at it. There is also a slight chip on the white marble base. Also not noticeable unless at the right angle looking at it(see last two photos) The back has a beautiful irridescent sheen to it. With blues and purples throughout giving it a marble look. There are a few shallow small chips in the glaze(see photo where two fingers are pointing- it's the third to last photo) The handles and neck base are bronze. There is some dirt on/under them which has collected over ... morethe years; I have not attempted to polish or clean them. There is also some excess white paint underneath the bronze neck base towards the right side handle- see fourth to last photo. There are remnants of a very old label on the bottom. Rare Sevres Like L.Henry French Bronze Ormolu Gold Urn Vase 19th Century This French Sevres like vase is ca.1830 France. The metal work is all Bronze and made by the L. Henry factory foundry in Paris. This alone is very rare. The bottom has L.Henry impressed marks on the metal. The bronze is ormolu gilt with amazing double Lions head's on each piece with hanging wreaths. The piece is signed by the French Artist"CLEM" and has raised jeweled enamel gold surrounding the portrait courting seen. The work is tremendous. And the gold is raised and thick. Superb example. Rarely will one ever encounter L.Henry's work on a Sevres Blank like this. The vase stands 11 1/2" tall with a diameter of 3" There are two small chips out of the porcelain on the lid. This in no way affects the display quality of the piece.

Presenting a striking antique late 1800's Sevres France hand-painted porcelain lidded urn with gold enamel embossed decoration and figural bronze handles(shape of bust/head) On one side. There is a beautiful painted design of a Victorian couple, and, on the other side, there is a vibrant pastoral botanical scene. This stunning urn is signed underneath the lid in lavender with the Sevres mark as well as"France" and a letter and two numbers. The lid has a very attractive bronze pineapple finial, and the vase itself has a bronze base in addition to bronze rim decoration. DIMENSIONS: Measures 19 1/8" tall to the top of the gold pineapple finial. And it measures 6 1/4" across the widest part. 2 Antique Sevres Porcelain Urn - Vase - Napoleon - 19th c Imp de Sevres bronze
Offered here are a pair of antique(19th century) Sevres urns that are missing their lids. They have N and J painted on the sides with crowns. Also near the top are painted eagles and what look like torches to me. The two bronze rings at top are not attached. On one urn the bronze dolphin handles are not attached. They do have screws but nothing to hold them in place on the inside. On that same urn is a small chip on top rim. As can be seen in a photo, but the bronze ring covers it. On the other urn some paint is missing at top rim. The bronze ring covers most of it. They are 7-3/4" tall. Overall 6" wide, and the base is 3-3/8" wide. These would make beautiful lamps. Or vases for flowers. They are both signed on bottom. On one it cannot be easily seen because the metal cross bar on bottom covers the mark. These are beautifully ... morepainted and quite striking! A French Ormolu Mounted Porcelain Vase Sevres? Estate Find Beautiful antique porcelain vase coming from a local estate. It has not been taken apart. So not sure if the porcelain is marked. The scene on either side is all hand painted. Mounts are bronze. The estate had other Sevres pieces. Condition: Main issue is it's missing lid. Figural handles are loose.
