Fine Austrian Royal Vienna Style Hand Painted Porcelain Portrait Urn/Vase. Artist Signed, c.1890-1910. This is a stunning hand painted porcelain double handle urn/ vase. The urn has a burgandy wine luster glaze ground upon white porcelain. The urn has curved double handles and is made of three pieces. The body of the vase section has a center medallion which is hand painted and signed by artist"Rosler" The painting is of a lovely maiden with beautiful details. The back side has three chinoiserie vignettes. Done in heavy raised gold gilt. The entire vase is decorated with heavy raised gold gilt scroll, floral and vine work all over the burgandy wine glaze. The pedestal stem rests above a large square plinth/ base. Each side of the vase has a different chinoiserie vignette. RARE ANTIQUE SEVRES HAND PAINTED AND ENAMELED PORTRAIT URN WITH JEWELED DECORATI
This is a gorgeous whimsical antique signed Sevres Urn with beautiful enamel and gold decoration and jeweled turquoise and opalescent paste beaded accents. The front painting is a lovely classical scene of a man holding a musical instrument with lady watching a little dancing poodle or spaniel dressed up in a colorful outfit and hat. The backside depicts a tranquil river with a bridge and building scene. I could not find an artist signature. But the detail, color and expressions are exquisite. The urn has brass filigree hardware on the collar and brass insert with pomegranate finial on the lid. The base is connected to the urn with brass hardware. The bottom is signed with the double crossed L’s and the letter“C” in the center. The mark below looks like a sideways E. There is another mark on the other side in green that looks like and R. ... moreI believe this to be a very early and unusual Sevres urn. The urn measures approximately 19 ¾” tall x 6 ½” at the shoulder and weighs over 7 lbs. The shoulders of the urn have a raised gilded lions head decoration and floral and leave design. This is a very unusual color in attractive teal type shades with purple accents and a nice iridescent white contrasting bottom. Super 9 3/4 inches tall early 1900's Royal Rudolstadt cobalt blue portrait urn in excellent pre-owned condition. The portrait of course is hand painted and signed WANGER and it is outstanding. The urn is a really deep cobalt blue with gold trim. The gold trim has many tiny gold and white beads with the base and neck having a raised design. Topping this piece off are two unique gold handles. NO chips or hairlines but it does have some minor wear to the gold on the handles and the top rim. The lid is mint. Front painting is Artist signed"Moro" The back part of the urn features landscape painting. The top lid of the Urn is marked by Sevres mark and has little crack on it's back side but was professionally restored and is not seen at all on the front part of the lid.
