Vintage Family Coat of Arms in cast metal- UT ALII DORMIANT" Description: A vintage cast metal family coat of arms plaque. The motto in a scroll at the bottom reads"UT ALII DORMIANT" which was also the motto for the Diepenbroick Infantry of the Hanoverian army in the mid 18th Century. The crest above the helmet is of a Crane holding a rock. Signifying vigilance. The elements of the shield are two more vigilant cranes above an unidentified tree. I have been unable to trace the family name that this coat of arms belongs to except for associating the motto with the Hanoverian army. The plaque is made from a cast metal with a brass colour to the front. It has six pins to the rear which were probably used for fixing in its original position. INCREDIBLE Old Architectural CAST METAL ORNATE HEADER DECOR PIECE Chippy Ivory
I LOVE ADDING THE OLD ARCHITECTURAL PIECES TO MY HOME DECOR. THIS IS INCREDIBLE AND IS AN OLD CAST METAL VERY ORNATE ARCHITECTURAL HEADER WITH A PERFECT CHIPPY WHITE PATINA. The old architectural pieces like this add an awesome look to any decor. This is an older heavy salvaged piece and of good quality with fabulous detailing. It is so ornate with a great design. It has the original old paint that is chippy. Peely, crackly, with some rust and with paint loss for a perfect patina. There are so many possibilities on how to display this, and no matter what you decide, it will look incredible! You can display it with the horizontal bar at the top or bottom. It is not free standing. Great in any shabby chic, romantic cottage, Victorian or French country home. Measurements are about 24 1/4" by 9 3/4" tall. It weighs about 11 pounds.

Antique Royal Crest Sconce Cast Metal Light Fitting. Cast with a lion, unicorn and crown, perhaps originally a candle sconce, later fitted with an electric light fitting which appears to date from the first half of the 20th century. It is approx. 12"30cm tall. And the condition of the back plate is very good save for the later holes drilled to accommodate the light fitting, and the fitting was badly done and is very loose, and therefore should either be removed, or repaired by a competent electrician. Vintage Cast Metal Eagle - Stand - Architectural Piece, Ornamental Figural Piece
Vintage Cast Metal Eagle. Used as a base for a stand or an architectural piece? Has holes in back for attaching to? The holes are threaded. May have been outdoors. This is a neat cast metal piece. Had a gold colored finish on it at one time. Now has a nice green patina on the eagle. Measures approximately 11-1/2" long x 7-1/2" high. Has one marking stamped. Either a 6 or a 9 behind eagle. This is an older heavy salvaged piece from France and of good quality with fabulous detailing. It has a metal piece at the back that allows it to lie down. Yet raise up about 2 1/2" at the top, as I show. If you wanted to hang it, you could add a wire to this piece, but it wouldn't lie flat. You can see where it was broken off a larger piece at the bottom. It has the original old black paint that is chippy. Peely, crackly, with some rust and with paint loss for a perfect patina.
