Cast Iron Mythic figure of ASTRAEUS Door Knocker MASIVE
A must have for any serious collector. I had 2 of these. I acquired them many years ago at an outdoor antique flea market in New York City. These are Massive in size and Heavy. I have only seen one other like this again. I am not claiming that these are rare because I think they may have been mass produced. As far as door knockers go these are the big Kahuna.If you have a 500 pound wooden door behind the mote that protects the castle these are perfect for that look. Actually they would be just fine for any door if your not scared of a little overkill. This one has a nice patina to it.
