Buy With Confidence From The Number 1 UK Seller Of Antique& Reproduction Ship Lights On eBay Image Below Is Representational Description: Here's something I have been after for a while. Some large sized explosion proof lights. These came out of a former GDP factory, probably munitions, and a striking pieces. The pictures(shot in good sunlight) have unfortunately highlighted the surface rust on the cage, it is very superficial when you see it. I will make sure to clean them up a bit more before sending out. These lights have a Honex glass, almost indestructible it's thick, strong and the glass has no chips or marks of note. The catch to release the glass is a bit tricky, and once done you have to undo the screw on the opposite side ... moreto access inside. Some have different writing inside, to coin a phrase"it's all German to me" some say explosion proof or similar some do not, they all are I am sure. Inside the large lamp holder does in fact take a standard size E27 screw in bulb, the connecting points are in excellent order, near new. According to the plate they take up to 100 Watt bulbs, I know if I kept one I would stick a large round long life bulb in there for a really funky look. The outlet lugs vary, some are covered some not, the opposite ones have 2 different types as well. I do my best to match items when people buy quantities but each light is rather unique. Please note these lights are not suitable for wet area's(bathrooms) or heavily exposed outdoor area's. The seals are good. But these lights are not rated for wet area's. I would say these are best suited to covered area's or dry indoor use as this is safest and will best prolong their life. The mounting plates have a single fixing making the light sit away from the wall. You could modify this be removing and creating recesses into the wall for a flush fit quite easily using the right sized drill bit. If you want more

I am not sure exactly of the age or content of this can. Just a very cool piece. It's 19" in diameter and 23" high. VERY HEAVY. It may be a Witts Can. But not certain. Can't ascertain the markings on the bottom. I found this little write up about Witts cans, but again, I am not sure that's what it is. According to. This antique industrial trash can, c. 1910-20s, was made of heavy galvanized steel and reinforced at the joints with rivets. It was made by the. Now Witt Industries in Cinncinati. Founder, George Witt invented the first corrugated, galvanized ash can and lid in 1899 and patented it at that time. The can is in very good condition Some typical rust for the age of it. Bucket has a top opening that measures 16 1/2" x 13" and is 10 1/2" tall at highest point and 9 1/4" at lowest height point. Bucket has slightly wider base than bottom of bucket. Rustic Vintage Wall Mount Steel Mailbox Farm Mailbox With Lion Head Pull Alrighty– I am slowly working my way to the last of the antique dealer auction items. So I did some power shopping yesterday to replenish the shelves… and did I get lucky! I have some fabulous early primitives to list this week, antique and vintage folk art, early tools, beautiful Victorian items– there’s something for everyone– you won’t be disappointed! Here is an awesome rustic steel mailbox for you. It's from a farmhouse. But has an oddly, out of characteristic fancy, almost gothic style to it! It matches the style from around here, though- a long tube in shape, you pull down on the hinged door to access the mail. There's two screw mounting holes at the back, and a fancy plate over the box that has two crest designs on it. It is in excellent solid, sturdy ... moreand working condition, with loooooooots of rustic wear from age and use. You can see significant paint loss to the black paint, especially on the box, and there's lots of surface rust spots that show where the metal is exposed. It's surface only- nothing more, with no holes or eat throughs. The backplate doesn't show as much wear, as it was not as exposed, I'm guessing- it is steel too. It needs a gooooood clean up- it's dusty/dirty/cobwebby and has what looks almost like oxidation or dust on it, and I have not cleaned or messed with the as found condition in any way, and problably a good paint job, and it will sparkle for you(unless you like it rustic, in which case- your job is done) It measures 14" wide at the top of the box(over the door) 13 1/2" wide at the bottom of the box/the lid/door, and 11 1/2" wide at the backplate. The top of the box is 5 3/4" deep while the door at the bottom(which is the round bottom of the box) is 5" diameter. It stands 5" tall at the box top and 7" tall at the backplate. It weighs a smidge over 3 lbs. Aside from the finish wear and the surface rust, I cannot find any other issues. I can'

I've now been supplied with the following information: I would say they are for the raw castings which would then be machined for engineer components. Here we have a classic Tudor Mailtainer wall mount residential galvanized steel mail box/ newspaper holder manufactured by the P.N. Co. of Fulton. IL, circa 1930’s– 1940’s. This is a very nice example of a rustic weathered unrestored and undamaged Mailtainer. Most of its original paint is gone to reveal a nice and fairly consistent patina on the galvanized steel. Ideal to be used as is for a rustic look or easily prepared for painting. Although the original key is missing. The door latch works nicely. The hinged roof works just as it should. The mounting holes are undamaged. And it is very clean inside. The base and globe are in very good condition with no structural defects, however the base does need repainting. the cage has minimal surface rusting but is still sound, the original weatherproof gasket is long gone so a simple silicone bead would be needed to ensure a waterproof seal for outside usage. Vintage Salvage Steel Molding
This steel crown molding came from a historic downtown San Francisco building built in the 1880s. It miraculously survived the Great Earthquake. It was salvaged in the 1960s or 1970s by a contractor friend who was part of the building remodel. From what my friend said. They where using the molding for cabinets in the building. They are weathered because they have been outside for probably 25 years or so. The pieces are roughly 9' 7" long. Note: This sale is for the SEVEN PIECES OF MOLDING ONLY.
