We have for sale a Vintage Rear Large Flying American Eagle Brass Bronze Post Office Mail Box Door Bracket. It measures 11 inches in diameter and 6-1/4 inches in width. This particular one has an oak wood frame on the top. Bottom and back. The wood is split in the back. This can be removed. I don't know the combination but you can open it from a lever in the back. It has a nice raised design with the eagle clutching the arrows with his talons. It could use a little cleaning but I will let that up to the purchaser. You may like its current patina color. Antique Solid Oak Post Office Wall 18 Feet Long x 6 Feet Deep
I am listing for a friend a complete antique post office made of solid oak. I am not a very good photographer so the pictures don't do the condition of this justice. I think this was set up in a corner of a business somewhere since along with the 18' long post office there is a 7 foot long oak end wall with no opening. Just a solid wall. When you are viewing the post office from the customers view to the far right is a 63" long CASHIER panel with functional window. Then to the left of the cashier window is a 16" wide full length frosted glass panel. Next is the 28" wide Drop Box panel. Then comes a 61" panel containing with 60 small letter boxes(3"x4.5" and 40 larger letter boxes(5"x6" At the end of the wall is a 40" panel with the walk-in door with EMPLOYEES ONLY on the frosted glass window. ... moreThe solid end wall is attached to the left end of the post office forming an L shape. A Beautifully Detailed. Original Plan of the US Court House and Post Office in Utica, New York. HAND-COLORED. Mr. J. G. Hill. Architect. From the American Architect and Building News, February 22, 1879. This picture is extremely hard to find. As the American Architect and Building News not only had a very small circulation during that time. But very few were actually preserved or colored as this has been. It measures 13 by 8.75 inches. Has a mat border and foam core backing(not attached to the picture) The whole plan measures 16 by 12 inches(with mat border) Finely detailed and beautifully hand-colored. Shrink wrapped. ORIGINAL BRITISH POST OFFICE 1937 TYPE E BRONZE MOUNTING PLATE STAMP MACHINE
Offered here is a rare original 1937 bronze type E mounting plate for a British Post Office type F stamp vending machine. The plate is in an Art Deco style with'POSTAGE' and'STAMPS' in raised letters at the top and bottom. It still has it's original glass canopy and is fitted with a plain steel blanking plate. It is stamped to the reverse with a crowned'2F' mark. The plate measures 40.5cms(16" x 15.3cms(6" It is in excellent condition as per photos. It presently has a dark aged patination but could be polished to a golden shine if desired. Lot includes two original dome headed bronze fixing bolts. It is offered here with a low price start and no reserve.
