Large Lot tall antique wrought iron fence 2 pair matching gates with posts
Antique wrought iron from prestigious New York City building! This is an extremely rare find! This antique wrought iron fence is from a renown New York City building erected in the late 1800's. The historical building still stands which was protected for over a century by this beautiful tall fence. The fence is 6 1/2 ft. tall and is all hand banded and turned the original way. The iron was well maintained with top grade protective paint. There is no rotting. Even on the bottom of the verticals. The finials are also surprisingly intact with very few, if any breaks. There are 6 posts which have ornate cast iron finials. These are used on either side of the two pairs of gates available with this lot. Each set of gates is 10 ft. wide. The posts are approximately 7 ft. tall and may need extending at the bottom depending on your installation. ... moreFour posts in this lot are for the driveway gates. There is a third set included to use with a walk way opening or gate. There is not a walkway gate included, but one can be fabricated from one of the smaller fence sections. The fence can be mounted with newly fabricated posts without taking away from the integrity of the Olde design. The distance between the verticals ranges from 4.75 in. to 5.25 in. If you would like the fence cleaned up sandblasting and painting will make it look like new but with the olde world quality craftsmanship! 16th Century Oak Linenfold Panels - Matching Pair -
Pair of gorgeous 16th Century Carved Oak Linenfold Panels These ancient hand carved panels have the patina of 400 years and look absolutely fantastic They each measure 23 inches wide by 20 inches high At some time they were obviously part of a panelled wall. As they have a rebate along each edge The one panel has a very old split that can be seen in the photos and the other has been affected by dry rot on the rear many years ago. They are now both free of woodworm and rot and have been so for many years Please have a good look at the photographs as they show condition of the panels far better than I can describe!
