About 7 of the pieces are fairly small and are what I call paper weight size. The restaurant began Downtown as Anderton's Restaurant and Oyster Bar at 151 Madison in 1945. A second location was added in 1956 as Anderton's East at 1901 Madison. Herbert Anderton. Closed the Downtown location in 1975 and consolidated the business into Anderton's Restaurant. His son later took over the restaurant. The restaurant had chefs who remained for as long as 50 years. Linda Anderton managed the front of the restaurant while her husband oversaw the food. She was born Rosine Bernard in Paris on Oct. 23, 1844, an illegitimate child of mixed French-Dutch parentage and of partly Jewish descent. At the age of 13 she entered the drama school of the Paris Conservatoire. Her debut at the Theatre Francais(later the Comedie Francaise) on Sept. 1, 1862, in Racine's Iphigenie en Aulide, was greeted with only mild interest. She soon quarreled with the Comedie and left it for an unsuccessful attempt at burlesque. Bernhardt's reputation was established in 1869 by her appearance as Zanetto. The wandering minstrel in Francois Coppee's Le Passant, and affirmed in 1872 by her triumph as the Queen in Victor Hugo's Ruy Blas. Soon after this she returned to the Comedie Francaise, where she won further acclaim for her performances in Racine's Phedre and Hugo's Hernani. Bernhardt's position as the greatest actress and one of the most magnetic personalities of her time was by now secure. This Ebay listing is for a Single. 2 Piece, Reclaimed Vintage Antique Terra Cotta Eagle. We have 3 in our inventory. These were JUST Reclaimed/Removed from the Old Crawford's Bakery Building in 2015. Circa 1926. These were formally located at the corner of Capitol Av& 16th. Street. Indianapolis, Indiana. Designed byone of Indianapolis' most significant early 20th-Centuryarchitecture firms, Edward Pierre and Caleb Wright. Former home also to George Pandell's Flower Shop, the first tenant in the Structure. These are in in Great Shape and show very little damage from the Deconstruction/Removal. One has a half dollar size chip. But very repairable. Each Eagle measures roughly 20" wide X 36" Tall. x 4.5 thick. without the first ring of Border seen in the pictures.
