Antique Painted Hardwood Finials 7" Architectural Salvage Shabby Chippy Vintage
Listing a great pair of old finials to add to your furniture making project. I believe these previously were part of a headboard to an old 4 poster bed. They are 9 1/2" long overall. The finial section is 7" and the bottom(shaft) is 2 1/2" I believe they are made of rock maple. There is some chippiness and rubs on some parts but absolutely no damage whatsoever to the wood. These could be the finishing touches on an antique bed or even the top of an old kitchen hutch or cupboard. Do you have a use for these wonderful finials? Awesome Old VICTORIAN Wood Header CHIPPY crackle green gorgeous SHABBY PATINA original hardware. This is a great piece. I was told it came out of a Victorian home in Ohio. The paint is a beautiful crackle green finish and it has a piece of the original hardware still attached. Its in great shape for it's age, the only damage I notice is on the left corner of the crown molding, it is cracked and splintered(can be glued) and the paint has flaked off. The other corner has some damage but not as bad. The back side I might mention has some damage where it was preyed of the wall. There is no paint on top of the crown molding and the other end where the molding was cut to fit the space. Great character and statement piece.
