It's numbered 2666 on 2 sides so I'm sure there ... morewere hundreds if not thousands of molds like this at whatever business was using them. The entire mold is 8 by 6 by 2 inches and has a really lovely patina. The scroll part is 5 by 4 inches with not quite 1/2 inch in depth. There is a hairline crack running across the mold. The wood is checked but there are 3 layers of it and it's quite solid and sturdy. Weighs 2.6 pounds. Someone has put a sawtooth hanger on the back so this can be hung. It will also just sit nicely on its side.

It is made of chestnut and is currently painted white. The legs have fluting and ball embellishments. The tops have carved corbels and turned columns. The pediment has a row of carved flowers and applied carvings. The crown has a nice shape with lots of Eastlake Spoon Carvings. It measures 62(to 64.5 with the brackets at the legs) inches wide by 103.5 inches tall. The opening is 51.25 inches wide by 83.25 inches tall. Penn Antique Restoration. Pair of Antique Ornate Fir Plinth Corner Trim Blocks. Charming. Antique, corner blocks salvaged from Southeastern, PA. Both blocks are made of solid, Douglas Fir, and both have a brown, faux wood grain paint. The tip of one of the ends on one of the blocks broke off at some point. It's not immediately noticeable. But you could tell if you look at them carefully. You could still join both locks together using the other ends, which are intact. Otherwise, the blocks only have the typical nicks, scrapes, and scratches that you would expect to find on 100+ year old blocks. The block is made of solid, chestnut, and has a dark stain. The lovely geometric design featured on the face of the block was hand-carved. Also note that chestnut is a rare and valuable wood; it’s not commercially available due to the blight introduced between 1900& 1908. Which made the North American chestnut trees virtually extinct by 1940. There are a couple cracks stemming from the bottom edge of the block. We wanted to try to close them using some glue and clamps. But they add a nice, distressed charm to it and preferred to leave the decision up to you. ANTIQUE SOLID WALNUT HANGING CABINET CUPBOARD MOLDING GLAZED DOOR 29" HI
Please scroll down under this description for additional views. Antique late Victorian hanging cabinet. 29" high, 13 1/2" wide, 8" deep. This old cabinet was made to be built in. It has simple yet elegant crown molding on the front and along the right side- also a little skirting along the bottom right side so it would have been mounted so that the left side butted up to the wall or another cabinet. It is solid walnut with three walnut shelves that are adjustable, substantial brass turning knob hardware on the glazed door, iron L brackets on the top and bottom for mounting. It does not and never did have a back and is constructed of 1" thick walnut. There are two cracks on one panel of walnut in the door frame. The finish is probably original- very alligatored and dirty with some white paint drips and some areas of"bloom" ... morewhere moisture reacted with the shellac. This wouldn't be a difficult thing to restore, you might be able to save the original finish with some denatured alcohol on steel wool and a lot of muscle. This would be a nice little cupboard for a bathroom corner- maybe to the left of your vanity mirror. Also a nice size for a kitchen corner.
