HUGE. Antique, architectural piece! Salvaged from an old church, where it was an above door transom. Solid oak construction. This is finished and identical on both sides. Completely freestanding if required. There are 3 beveled recessed panels on each side. Inside each triangular recessed panel are raised beveled panels with multi-ridged round medallions. It weighs about 38 LBS, measuring approx. 61 1/4 inches long and just over 22 inches tall. 2 3/4 inches thick. A DRAMATIC piece of gothic architectural salvage! Some chipping and one crack, but nice overall. Good patina. I will pack& box for free and ship via Greyhound station to station for $50 US. All questions encouraged and answered. Charming. Solid wood, plinth blocks salvaged from an old home in Memphis, Tn. All blocks are made of solid heartpine, and they have the same, beautiful, carved, and concentric, motif. All blocks have the typical nail holes. Nicks, scrapes, and scratches that you would expect to find on 100+ year old architectural elements. However, there are no serious, structural issues. All blocks have be de-nailed. The blocks are ready to use as is. However, if your prefer a cleaner look, some sanding and a fresh coat of paint will make them as good as new You may or not receive item pictured in the ad. Description This is an antique frame work that was salvaged from a Philadelphia. PA Victorian Home. It was originally in the Master Bedroom as a frame to closet. It is made of walnut and is unpainted. The legs have fluted pilasters topped with ornate corbels. The pediment across the top has Eastlake Spoon Carvings. Ornate moldings, brackets and corbels. This would make a great back bar. Bookcase, or butler's pantry. It measures 60 inches wide by 92.5 tall. The opening measures 50 by 79.25. It disassembles to load into a pick up or SUV. Overall. It is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as well as light cracks as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There is some paint in the right leg.
