Includes Canaries. The Niger river is shown(incorrectly) rising in Lake Chad and flowing west to the sea at Cape Verde. In fact it flows in the opposite direction: its source is in the Guinea Highlands in southeastern Guinea. It runs in a crescent through Mali. Niger, on the border with Benin and then through Nigeria, where it discharges into the Gulf of Guinea. Interestingly, most towns marked on the map are in the Sahara desert. Along I Street, between 21st Street and 20th Street, now sitesThe Shops at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue. This map measures approximately 28 1/2 x 22 1/2 inches. Including the border area. Property specific detail. Map is in color. VERY RARE. This map is from the Real Estate Plat-Book of Washington. District of Columbia. Vol. 1. Comprising the entire North-West Section from the Original Plats of Squares& Subdivisions and Additions upon record in the office of the Surveyor of the City of Washington" Constructed under the direction of and published in 1892 by Griffith M. Hopkins, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Maps this early and showing this much detail of Washington D.C. are VERY SCARCE. The map has fantastic coloring to it. Lots of color coding to represent various attributes(white/stone building. Pink/brick building, yellow/frame building, if it looks like an envelope/a stable or shed, and black& white dotted/green house etc. Map in generally good condition(not perfect but pretty nice condition) Some browning and small chips or creases at edges. Map is blank on the reverse side. There is a crease up the middle where it was originally bound. The map has some small tears and chips around the edges. A brown square stain can be found on the top right edge and the top left edge of the map. Caused by the original binding. There are a few pencil marks left by a previous owner. There are some creases in the paper, but they do not affect the map, as well as some other stains here and there. Some other dings here and there. This map is a great piece of Washington. Vintage Dacor Professional Model DCP Oil Filled Compass- made in West Germany which dates it at least pre 1990. This is old stock from a former dive shop. Appears unused. In its original box with warranty paperwork. Sold"as is" I can find no condition issues with the compass but due to my unfamiliarity with this type of equipment I cant speak to its overall working condition. It still has oil inside and rotates. We offer our King Salmon and Steelhead Trips on the Pere Marquette River. Big Manistee River, White River, Grand River, and Muskegon River, these are all located in West Michigan. Our River Salmon Fishing Charters usually start in late August and fishing remains good through October when we switch over to fall Steelhead Fishing. Fall Steelhead fishing is usually great from mid October thru December. Our trips usually start out early in the morning but we can cater to your needs. We also offer afternoon or evening trips as well. For King Salmon ... morewe will usually cast Crankbaits. Float Fish Bait, and Back Bounce Bait. This is a gorgeous full size violin made in West Germany 1982. It is 4/4 size(full) and the inner sticker says Johannes Kohr. 820942, Geigenbau Bayerische West Germany, Model 22 4/2 1982. It is in perfect condition, no major issues, normal cosmetic issues for an older used instrument(random scratches, but they seem to make it more beautiful) bridge is intact, everythig included- string, tuners, etc. I will also include the bow which is made of wood and says L Bausch on it. And. The case shown here, too, is included. Bonus- extra strings! The bow may need to be re-strung. The strigs definitely need to be tightened/tuned. This is a common model for students. Estate find. Missing the pendulum. So unable to fully test. Offered for restoration. When you wind the clock up. The top piece and minute hand both turn quickly. This is a vintage 1970's reproduction of an antique 19th century clock. All of the metal has an evident amount of darkening. Discoloration, loss, irritation and related signs of oxidation. This wear is most evident to the metal pieces on top. Seems to be at least some level of bending to these pieces as well. The glass crystal moves or rattles around quite a bit. The wood has kind of a darkened cloudy finish. The clock has not been cleaned. The cabinet has varying levels of corner and edge wear. More Photos Available Upon Request.
