Throughout, the map identifies various cities, towns, oases, deserts, rivers and assortment of additional topographical details. The map depicts a time in Egyptian history following the expulsion of the Napoleonic forces from Egypt by the Ottoman Mamluk Turks. Muhammad Ali, the Ottoman commander who was named viceroy of Egypt established the Mamluk dynasty that would rule Egypt until the Egyptian Revolution of 1952. Between 1820 and 1833, Ali annexed northern Sudan, Syria and parts of Arabia into the Mamluk Empire. In 1848 Abbas I, his grandson, was ruler of Egypt and Sudan. Abbas I, who spent most of his time in seclusion, on the insistence of the British government, was responsible for the construction of the railway from Alexandria to Cairo. Right out of a cabin in the adirondack mountains to a local estate sale. This coleman 152 lantern is in orginal vintage condition. Still had good clean kerosene in it, which removed for shipping purposes. I purchased two together and am selling separately. This one(lot B) has what I believe is a early globe(SEE PHOTO) the lettering says COLEMAN and PYREX. I have taken lots of photos, which should tell the story, so look carefully. It has been tested and works great- see the 2 nd photo. DOES NOT include the vintage propane tank unless picked up locally. The spots you see on the hood are from the lights and are not chips. Although there is a chip on the hood where the nut threads on- see photo#9 and a small chip/scuff on the rim of the hood where the handle has rubbed against it. Also. This a a fantastic lantern made by the AmericanGas Machine company and distributed by Gamble and Skogmo in 1947. This lantern is the same model as the AGM 3006 and the Sears 7462. The collar is stamped Gamble and Skogmo Co. The vent is clean and shiny with only a few chips. The vent is free of dents and dings and well clean up nicely. This is a really nice quartersawn oak barrister bookcase. Sometimes called a lawyers bookcase or stacked bookcase. This piece was manufactured by the GLOBE WERNICKE Company of Cincinnati. They were competitors of Macey and others. Four separate stacks with this bookcase-a graduated unit with 3 different sizes. Note the top unit has a leaded glass door. Original labels on the interior and nice leopard bands on the sides. Super finish which is smooth and even. The interior height of the units is 13.5. 11.5, and two which are 9.5. The overall size of the piece is 34 wide, 12 deep, and 57.5 high. I don't think you will find a nicer four stack unit. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Vintage Modern Mid Century AMBER Glass Globe Table Lamps/Lights Pair Unique 60's
Excellent condition. Comes with Drum shades. 3 way lighting( dim. Normal, bright) Very little fading on some spots of the globes, Have to get about an inch away from it to notice. These are very nice matching mid century lamps. 32.5' tall x 13.75' wide with shades. Base is about 6.5' wide. Globes are 7.5' wide. Works great with no flaws. Large, Heavy Antique Cast Brass Arts & Crafts Fleur de Lis Light Globe Finial
5-1/8" wide at the top and 5-1/2" long. Very heavy cast brass fleur de lis finial which original was attached to an old light globe. It was originally painted black and still is. The lower hanging finial swivels easily. The top fitting part is threaded at 3/8" diameter.
