Description: These two bank notes from French Morocco are in Fine to Very Fine condition. The both have some wrinkles and creases. But both are intact, edges and corners clean and crisp, no holes or stains, and generally are in good if used condition. The 100 Franc note is dated 5-5-38 and the 10 Franc note is dated 1-3-44. The only pictorial content is a splendid rendition of a great turreted castle in Morocco. These notes were collected by a US Naval Officer who was stationed in Tangier and Gibraltar during World War II. His duty was to monitor enemy ship traffic through the Straits of Gibraltar.
