Although it focuses mainly on Alaska and the Yukon, it also includes sections on the Pacific Northwest including Idaho and Montana. The book is in decent condition for it's age with some fraying around the binding and a few pages pulled from the stitching. One of the maps has a slight tear outside the actual image (see Pic). The spine is still tight. This is an ORIGINAL with the maps (including the 6 foldouts) and book plate are all tipped in, making them easily removable. The reproductions have all the fold out maps placed in a pocket inside the back cover. Thanks for looking!

Antique rock crusher. jaws are 12" by 5" also has hammer mill built in. The jaw side of the crusher freed up and apart for rebuild. Bearings and shafts look good and it could just be re-assembled. But some repair is needed to one of the connecting rods(solid brass) Hammer mill parts look to be in excellent original shape, just stuck from sitting. A gate directs crushed rock into the hammer mill when desired. This was to make lime dust, or to process ore. weighs about two tons. jaws show no wear. I can help re-assemble and help load. Forklift on site for re-assemble, but must be rolled onto trailer.

Item in original condition, not polished or cleaned. Item has some dents,mineral build up around handle, and a dark rich patina from age.The top port lid and fuel lever work and the spark wheel turns. Overall good condition. Please feel free to use the photos to help judge the condition! This is a highly collectable item. Lamp is approx. 4 inches tall and approx. 2 inches across the base and constructed of brass.

These were presumably originally gold plated but that appears to have worn off and now they are dull brass color. Some Research from the Net on Bellehelen which is now a ghost town: Bellehelen lies about 47 miles southeast of Tonopah. After discoveries in 1904. Bellehelen emerged in 1905 as an outgrowth of the Silverbow discovery with silver and gold mines in the west flank of the Kawich Range. The camp's best years were 1909-10. When about 500 tent dwellers congregated in the district. The Bellehelen post office opened in 1909, and closed two years later. In 1917, the Pacific States Mining Co. began large operations. That company produced about $117,000 before it merged with the Tonopah-Kawich Co. in 1922 to ... morebuild a new cyanide mill. Very old gold mining placer sign. This was discovered in the White Oaks New Mexico area. Which was a common visiting place of billy the kid. The dirt has been carefully cleaned off. But there is small tree sap spots from where it was placed on a tree years ago. This is a very rare and authentic placer, sign. Very neat piece of history.

This Stock Certificate measures 8.25" x 11" approx. It is Genuine and in very good shape. Only a slight fold across middle horizontal. But very mild- no sharp folds. This item is temporarily backed with a pc of matte board and shrinkwrap to keep it flat. You would want to frame it for presentation quality. It dates from 1938 and is used and signed, yet in very nice condition. Nice images along upper third of certificate. Old price tag on shrinkwrap- has nothing to do w items quality- on surface only of plastic wrap. Item is protected behind plastic wrap. Claro? Given condition and age, I think my intro price is fair. With each sleeve having a progressively smaller and smaller mesh further down the stack. All copper with heavy patina. It's two pieces: A top sleeve with a screen. And a bottom pan. It's in overall decent condition, but it has a few cracks on the bottom rim of the top sleeve(see photos) It's in otherwise good condition with only light wear. It's about 6 1/4 in. tall overall. ANTIQUE VTG PROSPECTING COAL SILVER GOLD MINERS MINING ROCK HAND TOOL PICK AXE
What a wonderful piece of Americana this is. It is a very old prospectors pick that would have been used in a coal. Gold or silver mine. I think the handle is original and has a very nice grain. The handle had a piece of tape around it when I got it and that explains the lighter ring around the handle. There is no damage where the tape was though. One tip of the pick is vertical and the other is horizontal. It is a 2 pound head(stamped, see pic 4) This item is so good and so tight I would not be afraid to use it right now but of course that would be highly irresponsible as historic items like this deserve preservation. Pick is 29" long.

Antique 1800s Western Americana Gold Mining Balance Scale with weights ex cond
This is a fantastic original authentic balance/scale and weight set from the Old West 1800s used by both miners and assayers to weigh mineral samples. The balance has a drop from the beam to the pan of about 8" To give you a sense of size. The wood block that holds the weights is about 5" long. All of the weights are present, and their weights are labeled. The cover that sits by itself, is just that, a cover only, and those pieces of small weights are stored in that well. The weight block is free of any real problems for a 150 yo piece. Note that there is no stand for the balance part. But I am not sure it really came with one; more likely the assayer would just set it up somewhere. I bought this myself personally from Utah. I accept returns for any reason.

An old handyman was cleaning out a house in Old Virginia City and found this board. It was from an old crate that was once shipped into Virginia City in the heyday of 1800's. It is all that was left of the crate. The board is 24"x7" with square nails(2) still in it. The board has marks like it was cut with a circular saw.
