Antique 18 th century newel posts. Railings, balusters spindles These stair parts were salvaged from a c.1765 home in Princeton. MA and appeared to be original to the house. The mortise and tenon newel posts and railings all appear to be hand-made and the balusters appear to be hand-turned. The bases of the newel posts need some restoration but the tops all appear to be in good condition with great wear-marks and every one of these pieces shows great character. I’ll do my best to cover all of the dimensions. Dismantled 300 year old antique 18th century timber frame house post & beam
I am selling a somewhat complete Early 1700s Connecticut River Valley center chimney house that has been recently dismantled and stored mostly in a 53' dry Van box road worthy trailer that comes with the building. The interior has been stored in a seperate dry building.The Yale House has been occupied by the Yale Family since the mid 1700s untill recently.Building is first or second Quarter eighteenth century. 10 large rooms 4 are 14' 6" x 17' 6" the building dimensions are 38' 5" wide x 31' 5" deep. Ceiling heights are first floor 7' 6" second floor 8' third floor attic 6' 10" under the collar ties the roof is a 10" per ft pitch. This building is a rare vertical oak plank exterior sheathing timber frame, the planks are attached with wood pegs, there are no studs or braces ... morein this building. The roof is a purlin type with 12 rafters. Vertical oak sheathing is lap joined to the weather. Original paneling, Two raised panel chimney walls,three raised panel wainscott walls, two walls with single board wainscott. Twenty six full walls of feather edge board type paneling three rooms are in 18th century paint.Blue, Red, White wash. The southerly second floor room has a rare dressed board ceiling. the doors are three&high style four raised panel& two board featheredge type. Hinges are mostly original H& H L, all the latches have been changed. All the floors are original oak and some rooms are poplar one of the second floor rooms had two layers of wide period board floors. The first floor deck flooring was not salvageable, they usually dont survive. The house was re sided in the late 18 th century when windows were added to the facade and the double door entry was removed,It was very common to up grade to more windows. The clap boards that were on the house are early sawn pine and have period rose head nails in them there is a few original beaded oak clapboards were still on the back side of the building every thing has been saved.including the

Antique 18th Century Maritime Architectural Salvage Carvings King Queen
These large incredible 1700's carvings were salvaged from an old Southampton England ship yard. Purchased from the salvager's family in London. They are solid oak and appear to be the interior embellishments of a captains quarters as they feature symbols of wealth and prosperity. The male or King measures 28" tall and 5" wide. The female or queen measures 15" tall and 4" wide. They are quite heavy. Hangers have been added, but original early nailing can be seen on each reverse side. *VERY EARLY* FARM FEED TROUGH - 18TH - 19TH CENTURY - PRIMATIVE
Up for auction is very old primative farm feed trough. Age is 18th- 19th century. The trough is put together with square nails. Each side of the trough is a very wide single hand hewed board. See pictures for condition. It is solid. Not coming apart anywhere. This is sitting on 2 garden cement bases which the buyer can have or pass. I just used them to keep it off of the floor to display it better. The trough measures 62 1/2" long x 14 1/2" tall x 22 1/4 deep. This would make an excellent coffee table base or a nice garden piece. This item is way too large and heavy to ship. This is a pick up only. Check out my!

18th Century Carved Female Figure Western Indian India Wooden Architectural
You will not find this very often! You are looking at a carved and painted wood female figure. It is 24.5 inches tall. About 7 inches wide at the widest part, and about 4 inches deep. I sent photos to the"value my stuff" appraisers to get an idea of what this is. They say it is an attendant figure, or a dancer, that was probably part of an architectural element. They say"it is a good example of the characteristic western Indian style, as typified by the buildings of Ahmedabad" Imagine- made in the 1700s! The patina is fantastic. So thick and dark that the wood material almost looks metal or iron. There is a round metal"hook" in the back. Weighs 4 pounds and 6 ounces. Buyers in Virginia pay 6% state sales tax.
