This is an incredible find! This is an all original antique tiger oak paneled room from a Madison avenue building from the late 1800's. The paneling is tiger oak and is done with craftsmanship that is not seen anymore! The ornate crown molding is gesso over wood. It is done so well that it truly looks like carved wood. The door is also included. The overall dimensions of the room are 14 feet x 12 feet making approximately 52 linear feet of paneling at 9 feet high. including the crown molding and the door We have more of the paneling available from adjacent rooms and an ornate entryway and foyer with matching doors and Gothic arch. Featuring a Spanish sailor, supposedly from panelling in Disraeli's study. Made by Oakleaf using a special resin-based material, it looks, sounds and feels like the original, in a dark medieval style oak stain finish. LARGE! 2 Sided Gothic Church Arch Victorian Oak Above Door Transom Window Panel
HUGE. Antique, architectural piece! Salvaged from an old church, where it was an above door transom. Solid oak construction. This is finished and identical on both sides. Completely freestanding if required. There are 3 beveled recessed panels on each side. Inside each triangular recessed panel are raised beveled panels with multi-ridged round medallions. It weighs about 38 LBS, measuring approx. 61 1/4 inches long and just over 22 inches tall. 2 3/4 inches thick. A DRAMATIC piece of gothic architectural salvage! Quarter Sawn Oak Cabinet Face Raised Panel Pair Doors Architectural Salvage
From early home. Brings this nice cabinet front in quarter sawn oak. With two raised panel doors, and the front frame with a divider in the center. Was in the library of the home, recessed in the wall, matching the paneling in the room, appeared to be hidden. Overall measures 68" wide X 71" high, each door measures 26-1/2" wide x 58-3/4" high. Each door has a brass finger pull for opening. Was hard to photograph the frame, there wasn't an empty space to put it so you could see it easily. The second photo shows how it would look finished. I don't have the doors hinged to the frame, they are on the floor, but should be about 5" higher which is why the opening is at the top. The center panel has a hole where a sconce was mounted. PRIMITIVE Adjustable Stick & Ball Doorway Fretwork Pediment Victorian Oak Panel
Authentic. 1800s, architectural antique. NOT a modern reproduction. Oak construction may be quarter sawn, but not certain. This is an elaborate Victorian piece with alternating single and double ball construction. No broken or missing pieces anywhere. Easy to cut down into custom sizing because side rails are currently unattached. It measures approx.43 1/2 inches by 14 inches. More fretwork to be listed soon. I am calling it primitive because of its old finish. Could use a good cleaning. Many other antique salvaged architecturals listed. All questions encouraged and answered. Please scroll down under this description for additional views. 16 1/2" BY 11 1/4" BY 1/2" solid oak panel salvaged from a church. You can see by the edge on the back side and the unpainted edges on the front that this was probably the panel from a cupboard door. There is a routed Gothic arch in the center. It has a worn coat of apple green paint on it but under that. The wood is very pretty. This would be nice to simply place on a shelf or mantel leaning against the wall with some special figure or object in front of it. It is nicely carved with good detail and finished to a warm brown color. The panel is made from solid oak. There is a slight bow in the panel(see photos) Otherwise it is in very good antique condition with the usual small amount of nicks and scratches from 100+ years of gentle use.
