Antique Vintage American Standard Bathroom Sink Shelfback Faucet 1960's
This faucet set was removed from a 1960's American Standard shelfback sink. The sink was beyond saving so this was removed. The sink that this was taken from was cast iron. There are no drain parts included. Only the pop-up control rod. The pop-up control moves freely. All components have spots of worn plating. Some more than others as well as some jaw marks(see pics) This would make a great spare for parts etc. to keep that old shelfback in working order! Vintage medicine cabinet recessed. Lighted chrome florescent sconces. Outlet on the right side switch is on the left side but has been pushed up into the sconce. Mirror is in very good condition with nice floral accent at the top. Door opens and closes easily. Can hol up to 5 shelves. 1 glass shelf is included. The shelf mounts at the bottom inside of the cabinet are tooth brush holder built into the shelf brackets. Also has a razor blade slot in the back at the bottom. Vintage Metal medicine Cabinet lighted. Mirror is in very good condition. Door opens from left to right. There are 4 brackets for shelves inside, also has a tooth brush holder on the inside of the door. Cabinet was made to be recessed. There is an electrical outlet at the bottom of the sconce on the right side. At the bottom of the left sconce is a push button switch for the lights. This switch has a good sounding click but it sticks a little. It has an overall measurement of 24" tall X 23" wide X 3" deep when mounted in the wall. That hardware is adjustable for desired height which is currently set at 23" from counter top to top of pump handle. This faucet set was removed from a 1920's clawfoot tub. The brand is'Republic' This comes complete with the water supply connections/elbows. The finish is worn and missing all over. If you need a perfect set this will need to be re-plated. However, the mounting nuts and adjustable escutcheons move freely as do the hot/cold stems. The'HOT' porcelain cap has a crack in it(see pics) and there is a wrench mark on the spout(see pics) There are also some mineral deposits here and there. VINTAGE LATE VICTORIAN 3 ARM SOLID BRASS TOWEL RACK/HOLDER BRASSCRAFTERS? 9 pics Subject: An antique. Late Victorian, three arm, solid brass with old nickel plate towel rack/ holder. This is a very heavy, early piece which measures about 11 1/2 inches at it's longest point by 4 9/16 inches at it's highest point. The overall weight of this piece is about 2 pounds and 5 ounces. The nickel plating on this piece does appear to have some oxidation issues going on. As an after thought experiment, after I took the photos, I sprayed a small amount of orange glow on a rag, and along with some elbow grease did some cleaning on the top arm. The results were that this item retains more than 95 percent of it's nickel plating, and that most of that has a very lite surface oxidation, that would more than likely clean up very well if one used ... morea proper polish instead of orange glow. The piece does have some paint residue on the bracket, most of that being on the back of the bracket, as well as some small paint splatters but here again the proper polish would more than likely remove most of the paint. This piece is unmarked from what I can tell but it does appear to have the type of high quality one would find in one of The Brasscrafters pieces. VINTAGE LATE VICTORIAN BRASSCRAFTERS TRADE MARK TOILET PAPER ROLL HOLDER 10 pics Subject: A late Victorian antique Brasscrafters toilet paper roll holder. Solid brass with spherical brass balls/ knobs that have been soldered on the sides. And a wood roller that still retains 90+ percent of it's original black enamel paint. This piece measures about 6 3/8 inches at it's widest point by about 4 1/2 inches at it's longest point. The wooden roller is about 5 3/16 inches long, not counting the brass tips at it's ends. Many of these toilet room fixtures were nickle plated on brass, including many Brasscrafters fixtures, but this Brasscrafters toilet paper holder shows no signs of ever having had nickle plating. There is no residue of nickle plating anywhere on this item, there is a small spot of white metal on the back but this ... moreappears to be some solder that splattered on the piece, and not any sort of plating residue. The piece is marked" TRADE MARK The Brasscrafters" It has three holes for mounting. This item does show some very minor signs of age patination like small surface scratches, and minimal oxidation effect but overall it is in excellent condition considering it's 100 plus years of age. One of the brass tips, on the end of the wood roller, appears to have been slightly worn but it still works very well. This item comes with free shipping to anywhere in the United States. You are bidding on/ buying an ANTIQUE TOILET PAPER HOLDER/DISPENSER. This is a metal bracket and arms unit. The toilet paper roll holding part is cork. It is a wall mount unit. You would need a hook of some type to mount it. This is a very Primitive piece. The entire unit measures 6 inches tall and 4 3/4 inches wide. I did not deep clean this piece. Or shine up the metal. Antique PALE YELLOW porcelain bathroom fixtures. Toilet paper holder. Toothbrush/cup holder, pair of towel brackets. All pale yellow, not white. Marked Japan on back. All in fine condition and look as if they were never used. The first picture is the closest to actual color. Had a hard time with light on a cloudy day to catch correct color.
