It came out of a house that was built in the 1920's and still had the original tiles etc in it. It measures approx 6 7/16" x 4 11/16" at the widest points. It will fit into 5 5/8" x 4" opening and sets back in approx 1" that is just the part that sets back into the wall- the part the comes out from the wall is approx 2" including the lip that sticks out) It is a deep green. Sort of muted, not bold. It is heavy and still has some of the tile compound on the back I'm not sure what thats called, It has marking in the back- I can't make them out. The tile material it is made ... moreout of is an off white color and does show through some of the green glaze- mainly along the extreme edges. It has a few small chips, one very small nick along the front edge of the opening at the top- see pictures I have included a closeup of it. This auction is for a vintage water pump– the kind my grandma had at her sink in her kitchen. I believe the water came from the cistern. She also had a bigger pump outside from the well. It says Columbiana Pump Co. 2083. Columbiana Ohio USA on the top. On the base it says, Columbiana Pump Co. Columbiana Ohio 2085. The handle is 12” long to where it curves down. The height is 22” The base has a flat side on the same side where the water comes out and then 3 places to screw it down. The underneath has a pipe with threads to attach it. The center section looks like brass. The iron parts are red. But some of the paint is worn off. It is heavy and will be reflected in the shipping cost. I am near Buffalo. It could be picked up. Offered is a nice restored wall mount hand pump. It is signed on the handle- C J Hartley Co. Decatur ILL- Patd Nov 3 1908 450” There are several numbers on various parts of the pump: 450, 451, 452, 453, 455, 456, and 457. The pump is in excellent condition, no breaks, cracks, or chips. The cylinder, the lift rod, and all of the fittings connected to the cylinder are brass- the rest appear to be cast iron. The pump was sandblasted, had primer applied, painted, and top coated. I feel it has a great finish. In its present condition it is a decorative piece. The seals and gaskets were deteriorated and removed. The pump measures about 16 inches tall, 15 inches wide from spout to handle when the handle is down and 24 inches with the handle extended, and 8 inches across the wall mount side. Vintage Art Deco 1946-1948 Stratmore Solid Brass Nickel Faucet RARE Modern Retro
Up for auction is a vintage Stratmore Art Deco faucet that dates from circa 1946-1948. So just at the very end of the Art Deco era. I believe it to be this timeframe based on the patents that I was able to find online. Based on the extremely limited amount of information available on this faucet, as well as no comparable fixtures to be found online, I believe this to be a fairly rare piece. Given that this was also at the end of the Art Deco era, I'm guessing that relatively few of these were ever produced. The reason that I'm thinking this dates from 1946-1948 is based on the patent application date and the date it was granted. The front of this faucet shows'PAT. PENDING' which would indicate that it was made in that timeframe. From what I'm told, this was in use up until 1948 or 1949 in my grandmother's house. Since ... morethen, it has been sitting in a dark, dry locked room in her basement. However, now that we're tasked with closing out her estate, it can once again be enjoyed by someone! It's a very cool design, everything is a right angle except for the nozzle and the wall plates. The soap dish lifts out of the faucet itself. Each of the valves are marked with an Art Deco H or C(see pictures! There really are only two tiny flaws that I found with this piece- the nozzle has plier marks and as seen in the last picture, one of the corners by a valve has a tiny nick in the metal. Otherwise, a very unique faucet, extremely rare, and one that really shows the true design style of the Art Deco era. Shipping will be FedEx Ground or Home Delivery, cost depends on location. They were famous for their high quality porcelain, brass and cast iron bathroom fixtures, some of which adorned the White House in the nation’s capitol. To this day their products have withstood the test of time, and are well known in circles of house restorers and collectors of antique plumbing. Vintage 6 Foot Cast Iron Porcelain Double Drain Sink 25"x72" Pick Up Only
This is available for pick up here only as it is too heavy to ship and I am not dealing with the freight companies. Weight is probably 200 lbs or better. It was made by American Standard Radiator in Louisville on 10/6/1941 with a stamped size of 25" x 72" Bowl is in the center of it and is 20 1/2" wide by 18" deep at the top and then rounds out to the bottom to 18" deep by 15" wide. Depth from top to bottom is 7" Faucet holes are just under 1 1/2" diameter and 8" on center. Back splash is about 8 1/2" to 9" above the drain boards. Condition is excellent with some minor scratches and a few small pits to the porcelain on the left hand side edge. These 6 foot ones are one of the hardest to find and you can't buy a new one of this quality for $1000.00 I've sold several over the past ... moreyears with the last couple going down along the Chesapeake Bay and they are using them for fish cleaning stations. Large Old Brass Valve QCV Steampunk Industrial Decor - Neat Metal Handle
Really neat big old valve! I believe the main middle section is brass. Measures 4-1/2" high and 6" long with the pieces on both ends. The handle is 2-5/8" across. Still turns freely! The inside of the pipe measures a little over 3/4" on one end and 1/4" on the other. Comes complete with all the nicks. Scratches and crud you see in the pictures. Antique REPUBLIC Nickel Plated Brass Faucets Porcelain HOT& COLD Tops 1920's This is a nice old pair of vintage faucets with porcelain handles for HOT and COLD. Manufactured around the 1920's by Republic. The faucets are in good working condition and the handles turn freely. Each faucet is marked Republic right above the spigot. These faucets are nickel over brass(you can see the brass where the nickel has worn off) and the porcelain handles have some fine hairline cracks. They measure 6 ½ inches high x 3 ½ inches handle to base x 4 inch spout. Normal wear to the nickel plating. Overall condition is very good.
