Vintage/Antique early 1900's Porcelain Shower-head
This is an old porcelain shower head that I found at a estate sale a few years ago.I assume that it is old as it has quite a bit of weight to it and it just looks like something that was made quite awhile ago.The head is porcelain and the rest of it appears to be brass that has been plated.Very nice piece if you are looking to match your faucets and or porcelain tub.The only writing is on the side of the neck and it says; Anoconda' and then it says Natl Brass Works Inc. Los Angeles Ca.It is being sold as is and as far as I can see there are no chips cracks or any parts missing.I would venture to say that it works but I have not tried it and cannot be 100% certain.Again this is being sold as is.

No cracks to metal. Just scratches throughout plus water residue. Hot/Cold knobs operate freely. I could not get shower head or knob to move. Shower head pipe was cut off at bottom. Hot/Cold fixture has piece of pipe cut off in it on bottom section. All porcelain appears to be intact. Shower head knob has craizing to it, and looks to be a hair kine crack from where it meets metal approx 1/2" All need to be cleaned and restored. These are AS IS! VINTAGE 1920'S 1930'S JADEITE CERAMIC PORCELAIN BATHROOM SHOWER HEAD FIXTURE

Vintage ceramic shower head with jadeite green glaze. 3 3/8" diameter with tiny radiating holes, threaded end has interior diameter of 1" Small chipped area and a couple of faint hairlines on the threaded end, small unglazed spot on the head end. We debated about what exactly this was- could it be for a garden hose? was it off of a watering can? Both of those seemed possible but not practical and since a lot of bathrooms were tiled with this very popular color during the time period, we concluded that this was a shower head. Nice old"Standard" porcelain shower head in original"as found" condition. This item measures approximately 6.5" inches and 5" inches in diameter at shower end;it weighs over 2 pounds. Condition is very good; however. It has a crack on rim as seen in photos and needs to be cleaned. Moreover, it needs new rubber gaskets and swivel probably needs a short of WD-40 to loosen? Overall, a perfect plumbing fixture for a vintage home!

Vintage White Ceramic Porcelain Bell Shaped Bathroom Shower Head
Up for auction is a vintage white porcelain bathroom shower head. It measures 6 1/2" tall including the chrome part. The head is 5" in diameter. The threads look good and the porcelain is in good condition with no chips or cracks. I ran a little water through it and the holes are open but I wasn't able to open it and look inside. The seal will need to be replaced as I can see where it is brittle. T here is a little rust yellowing on the outside of the holes. The pivot part is not loose and moves into position and stays.
