Vintage/Antique early 1900's Porcelain Shower-head
This is an old porcelain shower head that I found at a estate sale a few years ago.I assume that it is old as it has quite a bit of weight to it and it just looks like something that was made quite awhile ago.The head is porcelain and the rest of it appears to be brass that has been plated.Very nice piece if you are looking to match your faucets and or porcelain tub.The only writing is on the side of the neck and it says; Anoconda' and then it says Natl Brass Works Inc. Los Angeles Ca.It is being sold as is and as far as I can see there are no chips cracks or any parts missing.I would venture to say that it works but I have not tried it and cannot be 100% certain.Again this is being sold as is.

No cracks to metal. Just scratches throughout plus water residue. Hot/Cold knobs operate freely. I could not get shower head or knob to move. Shower head pipe was cut off at bottom. Hot/Cold fixture has piece of pipe cut off in it on bottom section. All porcelain appears to be intact. Shower head knob has craizing to it, and looks to be a hair kine crack from where it meets metal approx 1/2" All need to be cleaned and restored. These are AS IS! For sale is a Vintage 3 7/8" Diameter Shower Head Chrome Over Brass Vintage Plumbing Fixture. The manufacturer of this piece is unknown. I can't find any markings. I believe this piece is from the 1940's-50's but i'm not certain. There are some condition issues with the chrome/nickle coming off in spots as well as some scratches. Measures 3' tall with the open end diameter of 1' The connecting connector at the top measures 2mm diameter. The actual intake hole inside the top that distributes the water, measures right at 0.5mm. Up for auction is an antique brass shower head. This head I would guess weighs 2- 3 pounds. The face diameter is 4" and it is 2 3/4" from the face to the tail. There is a calcium buildup on the face and it is tarnished. It has scratches from pliers used on it in the past. The face appears to be threaded to the body. But I did not try to remove it. It seems to be stuck on there. The tail is threaded to hook up to your shower neck. Ask questions. I want happy customers.I only ship to the continental United States.

Of course you can take the last section off& attach the head to your existing pipe) This is super heavy duty brass weighing over 3 pounds total& made to last forever! This fixture is as I found it& overall is in very clean shiny condition& not chewed up with tool marks. Outside of the front plate I did not try to ... moretake it apart as the metal is so nice. That is up to the buyer. It will be hard to find another one of this age in this clean of condition. There is minimal pitting to the plating mainly around the holes& some on the body probably from decades of chlorinated water usage. Some of the holes have blockages but can be easily be cleaned with a toothpick or a solvent. This also has a flow restrictor with a ceramic handle.there are several old cracks in the handle that vary in length but it is on there solid. Another nice feature is the“ball& socket” where you can adjust the direction of the head. These parts show minimal wear/marks from tools. The gasket for the head is long gone& probably the gasket on the restrictor valve needs replacing. This is Untested& I cannot take it apart. There is also the pipe that goes into the wall with the plate that goes against the wall. his pipe has some marks from a tools or from the screw when the plate was slid back& fort& shows plating wear though the brownish part comes off when scratched with my thumbnail. Up for sale here is a true vintage antique sprinkler/ showering head. Its widest diameter at the head is 4" The piece is made of what I believe to be a combination of brass and copper. The piece might actually be copper with a brass coating over it. either way it is super cool. The fixture is in great condition as you can see from the pictures above and it works well. It actually puts out quite a bit of pressure. I believe you could use this for a shower head also if you wanted too. The seal or gasket on inside appears to be in good shape also. So I'm assuming it's brass. The chrome finish is scratched, pitted and worn. The ball bearing was not moving until we put some WD40 on it, so it will move, but still very hard. Here is an older shower head. Likely from the 1940's-50's based on the design. The maker is unknown, though I have seen this same style of head made by Crane. The plating is in very nice original shape with some light scuffs/scratches here and there, the most fade and loss is on the compressions nut(see pics) The female fitting is knurled to attach it to the supply pipe. Nice antique nickel plated brass shower head with adjustable pressure Anyforce. It is marked but all I can make out is Speakman. The shower head is dented on the edge in a couple of places but not to badly. There is some oxidization on the surface. The original nickel plating shows wear from use and tools. The porcelain handle is cracked but seems to be strong and solid. The porcelain handle turns freely. It may need new internal washers etc as it is untested. Overall good condition. Vintage White Ceramic Porcelain Bell Shaped Bathroom Shower Head
Up for auction is a vintage white porcelain bathroom shower head. It measures 6 1/2" tall including the chrome part. The head is 5" in diameter. The threads look good and the porcelain is in good condition with no chips or cracks. I ran a little water through it and the holes are open but I wasn't able to open it and look inside. The seal will need to be replaced as I can see where it is brittle. T here is a little rust yellowing on the outside of the holes. The pivot part is not loose and moves into position and stays. Vintage Nickel Plated Shower Head Early 1900's Steampunk Salvage Item
Vintage Nickel Plated Shower Head. Salvage Item. This shower head has been straightened, I just couldn't scrap it. So buy it knowing it has issues. The threads are not the best, it will accept a 1/2" coupler as shown in picture because it's tapered. If you have a 1/2" die maybe they can be repaired. You could also cut it off and solder another brass nipple onto it. Or ya know what. Re-Purpose it onto some Steampunk Thing and there you go. Please look at the pictures! Thank You. Joe
