The chrome is outstanding and shines bright, one of the side faucets has the"C" for cold but missing the"H" for hot on the right, rarely seen handle. The interior of the sink and around the front top has some wear to the porcelain and the back end underneath of the pedestal has a few lines showing it's age. Scroll down for more photos/ more views below description Cool old 1920s/30s kitchen sink faucet for restoration. Features a long spout that moves side to side. And old fashioned white glass/porcelain hot and cold lever knobs(note the"hot" one has cracks, including an internal crack area on the bottom side, and the cold has small hairlines(see photos of both) but still looks like they could be used. It measures approx. 7 inches from inside rim of each incoming water hole. This old fixture has not been tested in any way/ sold as it stands. The spout and handles do seem to move as they should. For its age, the chrome finish is pretty nice on the spout and main body, but does have some wear spots/ some pitting on the body, a small spot of missing finish on the bottom, areas around handles as shown, etc. See photos for details/ illustrative ... moreexamples. Many of the funny spots in the photos are just reflections, so be sure to compare from photo to photo. Antique cast iron kitchen farm sink- light green porcelain in excellent condition. Double drain board surfaces flanking a large single basin with the original pair of adjustable legs. Included are the original drain basket/ strainer. Hanging brackets& screws and assorted drain pipe fittings. Also, a newer high-quality chrome over brass industrial faucet(barely used- I salvaged it from a renovation project) I do not know who manufactured this sink, Kohler or American Standard would be my guess. There is a photo of the markings on the underside. I purchased this sink from the original owners daughter, who still resides in the house where she was born and where the sink was installed in 1932. It was removed and stored in the cellar when the kitchen was"modernized" in the late 1940's/ early 1950's. That said, this sink is ... morein fantastic condition. Condition: There is wear as would be expected from everyday use to the surfaces of the basin, drain boards and strainer basket. There is one small chip in the porcelain on the front lower edge of the apron and several other tiny flakes along the same edge. Otherwise, all shiny and bright. very good to excellent! Measurements: 61 inches length x 16 inches height. 22 inches depth from wall to front of unit. The apron is 8 inches depth. The legs are 2 parts each and are adjustable for height with an interior screw/ spiral mechanism. Vintage Antique Crane porcelain over cast iron kitchen farmhouse sink
This is a rare Crane"Kitchen Queen" cast iron over porcelain kitchen sink. Crane sinks of this style with the arched faucet mount area are hard to find. Finding the original Crane"Dial Eze" faucet is almost impossible. They don't make the faucets anymore. This is your chance to transform your kitchen back in time with an unusual sink with the original faucet. The sink shows some expected wear like dings(pic# 12 is an example) Some scratches, and a some spider cracks(pic# 10) that can be patched with a kit but overall a very nice sink. I believe the sink was made in 1948. The stamp mark under the sink in pic# 9(8 48) I believe it stands for the month and year manufactured August 1948. These sinks were made from the late 40s through 60s. The faucet may need a couple of new cartridges(around $15 each) and a new set of ... morewashers that can be picked up at a hardware store. I've never had the sink hooked up. If you dont have any plumbing skills, its best to hire a plumber to hook everything up and make sure everything is ok. I have taken a photo(pic#11) of the clips and where they should be installed to hold the faucet on. It would also need silicone underneath the plastic grey curved plate where the faucet attaches to the sink. Sink needs a new sprayer. It goes in the whole shown in pic#7. The sink measures 72" wide by 25" deep. It has a 4" backsplash. The basins are 15 1/2" x17 1/2" and about 7 inches deep. Dont miss out. This is a very heavy sink. However the round flange plate pieces which cover the extra space between the faucet and the sink holes have been lost and ARE NOT included with the sink, but can be purchased at any hardware store. Some scratches in the top chrome coating are present. Also the internal pieces of the aerator ARE ABSENT. But are also available for purchase at your local hardware store as is standard procedure when buying a used sink. Mounting Brackets: The Standard mounting brackets are the same size and both manufactured by Standard Plumbing. But DO NOT match. Although they function almost exactly the same, each bracket if from a different era. When they are placed one on top of the other, the mounting hole do match up, however one bracket has more mounting holes than the other. This however doesn't affect the functionality of the brackets. This one is so good! Curved front sink cabinet with curved feet. Very art deco. Solid no rot at all some surface rust on the inside. But it's easily removed with an sos pad. Spend a weekend giving this one some tlc, and you'll have a treasure. Porcelain is not perfect, but is very good for the age and is definitely useable and very displayable. Up for sale is this 1933 Standard double basin farm sink with in great condition. The sink is approx. 43" wide at widest by 22" front to back by 16" high. The apron is 8"The back splash 8" faucet holes are 8" o/c. The basins are 17" wide x 17"there is a super deep basin on the right at approx 12" deep and the left is 6"deep, both with new drains included. The sink includes its original adjustable cast iron legs which have a fresh coat of paint on them and a set of wall hangers. The sink set is 80 + years old with its original porcelain and has been used. It shows signs of minor wear, sm nicks, scratches, etc etc. but overall is in excellent condition. This sink has a tall apron and a deep 5"basin and if you are standing at just the right angle you can see a very light pearlescent rainbow in the porcelain on the apron. Old sink has left side basin and right drainboard. The porcelain has pock marks. Scratches, paint splatter, and scuff marks, as well as a few small chips around the bottom edge. Most of the porcelain with the exception of the bottom of the basin still has its glossy sheen that is usually dull on these old sinks. Antique Cast Iron Farm Kitchen Sink With Apron Great Splash Back Porcelain
A Beauty. This came out of a very old huge mansion like estate in Southampton. NY. It was in the Service Kitchen. It has a great apron and the perfect size splash back. The porcelain is in incredible shape given it's age. I tried to capture how good it is in the pics. I do not believe it needs to be redone. I prefer local pick up but will sell to buyer if they do all the contact with a shipper of their choice and pay my guys to prepare on a pallet for shippers that want it on a pallet. It measures 73 inches long. Bottom apron is 8 inches. Top Back Splash is 10 inches and the faucet openings are 8 inches on center; perfect for new or old faucets. It had a garbage disposal drain attached at one time so the drain catch is nice and big to go along with the size of the sink. Some of the pics are before I just cleaned it. Great example of a 1950's Double Drainboard sink with Steel Harrison Cabinet. This unit has been in storage for 40 years after removal from the original home. Overall good condition. 2 small chips in the porcelain. The steel cabinet has some minor rust at the bottom edges, but nothing structural. The cabinet is from Harrison Steel Cabinet Company out of Chicago(very similar to Geneva brand) I am not able to verify the maker of the sink.
