Vintage tub spout. Not reproduction. 3 3/8 centers, somebody used a pipe wrench to get handles off and you can see places where the teeth bit into the nut. The porcelains do have cracks in them as you can see in photos. I'm sure the rubber stops and o-rings need replacing! It's used and plating worn at spots. Posted with

Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Faucet with Spout 1920's
Here is a nice old'Standar d' tub valve and spout. This was removed from a 19 20's-era home. The handles appear to be replacements(probably 1940's or so) The ori ginals would have been porcelain cross-handle pieces. The spout has a porcelain escutcheon and a trim ring with set screw that keeps it tight to the wall. The finish on the spout. And original trim are more like a nickel color, while the finish on the handles is more like a bright chrome. All of the porcelain pieces are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. There are a few small spots of discoloration but overall they are very nice. The handles have scratched/gouged caps. But they are fairly clean with good shine. They are cast zinc. Both stems open and close freely. The stems and escutcheon ferrules are slightly scuffed with spots of missing plating, see photos ... morefor condition. The spout has mis sing plating all over. As well as some gouges and scratches here and there. The brass nipple will remain in the spout. I' ll leave the choice of removing it up to yo u. All of the shiny bits on this faucet would benefit from a re-plate. But you could certainly use as is if you don't mind lots of patina! The original cast iron mou nting bracket i s included. The set will be broken down into components for shipment. Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Controls With Spout 1960's
Here is a nice old tub control valve and spout. This was removed from a 1960's-era bathroom. This could be used as a shower control(without the spout) Or as a tub-only control. There is an adjustable sleeve that threads onto the valve body to adjust for wall thickness(see pics 6-7) This style of trim was found on American Standard fixtures in the 1960's. It appears that all trim pieces are chrome-plated zinc. All trim pieces are in very nice shape. With a few nicks and scratches here and there but nothing terrible. The worst is a scratch across the cold knob, but most of the other imperfections will be concealed when all of the pieces are installed. The spout has spots of worn/scuffed plating. And a few small dings on the front(see pics) Both of the valves/stems move freely. Though I would expect to rebuild/replace all of the washers ... moreand packing before use. Antique American Standard Tub Faucet And Spout With Original Diverter 1950's
This is for an antique brass American Standard tub diverter valve along with chrome spout and handles. The spout and handles have minor scratches plus some water wear but all works fine. Antique Vintage Kohler Tub/Shower Controls With Spout 1960's
Here is a nice Kohler tub/shower control valve and spout with shower pop-up. This was removed from a 1960's-era bathroom. The valve body is a pass-through design. So you could add another valve set above it in series for a separate shower control or simply block it off. On this particular set, they had short sections of capped pipe to act as hammer arrestors. The shower head trim escutcheon is also included which matches the set, the opening is 3/4" diameter(see final pic) All trim pieces are in nice shape. With a few nicks and scratches here and there but nothing too bad(see pics) There are light scuffs on the knob faces and some jaw marks on the adjustable trim sleeves(see pics) Once installed, the marks on the sleeves should not be seen. The spout has spots of worn/scuffed plating. And some large wrench marks on it from removal(see ... morepics) There are also some mineral deposits on the underside of the spout around the opening. Both of the valves/stems move freely. Though I would expect to rebuild/replace all of the washers and packing before use. The inlets are 1/2" copper sweat connections, and the spout nipples are still installed(see pics) The set will be broken down into components for shipment. Here is a nice old tub control/diverter and spout. This was removed from a 1930-40's era bathroom. There are no maker's marks that I could see. But my guess would be'Central' or'Speakman' I'm also not sure if the diverter lever is original. All of the faucet trim pieces are in fair shape. With a few nicks and scratches here and there but nothing terrible. There is some light pitting in spots as well, see photos for details. The escutcheons are stamped brass, with some light scuffing and swirl marks from years of cleaning but the plating is decent. The ferrules are a little chewed up from wrench jaws, the close-up of one represents the condition of them all. The spout has spots of worn/scuffed plating. And a few small dings here and there(see pics) Both of the valves/stems move freely as well as the diverter. ANTIQUE RUSTIC CLAW FOOT TUB SPOUT REPAIR PART GARDEN DECOR
This is an antique tub spout I found at an estate sale. I have no idea what metal it is made from. It is a pewter or nickel color. Very rustic. Very old. It has no makers marks. Interesting piece for a garden spout or fountain perhaps. Spout opening is about 1 1/2 inches. And the pipe end is about 7/8 inches. Entire piece is about 10 inches long. I acquire my items at estate sales. And unless otherwise stated should be expected in good vintage condition. These items are not new. Have been used, and probably in storage for an extended period of time. I do not know the histories of each item. I do not know if they were exposed to smoke or pets. I do not clean items. Antique Vintage Plumbing Part Sink Tub Spout 'J.D. Johnson Co.' 1920's
Here is a neat old spout that was removed from an old tub that dated from the 1920's. Though this could be used as a spout for almost anything. The nipple threads into the end of the spout and can be easily removed, please note that there are gouges in the nipple(see pics) This also comes with a matching escutcheon, as shown installed in the second photo. The plating is worn and lightly scuffed in spots from years of cleanings. The escutcheon also has a spot where the plating is missing from a long-term leak. All components are brass. The inlet looks to be beveled on the inside. And the thread on the outside is an unusual size so you may need to be creative to connect this to your plumbing. The fact that it's solid brass makes soldering a possibility in case the threads don't match anything else. Antique Vintage American Standard Shower Tub Faucet Set & Diverter Spout 1950's
Here is an American Standard faucet set that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. This is for a tub& shower application. There is knob on the spout that acts as a diverter to turn on the shower. There is also a matching shower pipe escutcheon that's included. The chrome on the handles& caps is in nice shape with very minimal pitting. The stems also have minimal wear to their chrome. The escutcheons are lightly pitted and corroded with some scratches, but fortunately replacements can be found online. The spout has lightly worn plating along with some scuffs and scratches, but overall it's in very good shape. The shower pipe escutcheon is fairly pitted, and the set screw has been replaced with a new stainless steel set screw. Both valves open and close as they should.
