This pair of vintage faucets came out of a bathroom in our 1915 home. They were used until 1993 and have been in the garage attached to the old sink. The nickel plate is mostly gone. Faucets disassembled easily and the parts seem to be in working condition(need new washers. Pipes are 3/4 inch and handles have square fittings roughly 5/16 inch across. These are two used bathroom sink faucets. They are a matched pair. They are solid brass with nickel plating. The plating shows wear and pitting. They are marked“ EMPIRE” They have handles with porcelain covers. The porcelain covers have“HOT” COLD” There is a light surface crack on one handle side. The handles measure 2 3/4" from stem to tip. The measurement from the stem to outlet tip is 2 ¾” The threaded portion below the flange is 1 ¾” The thread is ½” pipe thread. They have new washers and may need new stem packing. Antique Nickel Brass Mechanical Bathroom Toilet Paper Holder John Douglas 1908 This is a unique and interesting antique toilet paper holder. The toilet paper holder came out of an old schoolhouse. It is made of nickel plated brass. It is marked with embossed letters The John Douglas Co. Cincinnati. O. Pat. Sept. 22, 1908. It is tamper proof meaning you can only change the roll if it is empty. To remove the empty roll, you need to tear it off and press the spring release mechanism to slide the spool to the side. Would look great in an old fashioned bathroom. Nickel or perhaps brass wall mounted cup or drink holder. The finish is pretty worn whatever it originally was. Piece is marked: silver& co. NY" Piece is in fair condition showing some wear I will describe. It looks as though a brass sort of material was plated with silver or nickel and the plating has mostly worn away leaving it a brass or bronze sort of color. The whole thing has a greenish tarnish. It's got a great old look just the way it is or you could clean it thoroughly so the whole piece has a dull brass look. Metal is scuffed and dinged a bit but overall pretty nice. Piece will need to be thoroughly polished when buyer receives it. Piece is being sold as-is. So take a good look at the photos.
