The Equity A.P.W Paper Co. Toilet Paper Holder Vintage/Antique Circa 1878 This wonderful Antique Cast Iron Toilet Paper Holder Made by the A.P.W Paper Co. in Albany. NY features a latching mechanism rather than the traditional spring loaded roller. You simply press a button on the left end of the roller and it pops open on a hinge. Wall Mounted. Accepts modern TP rolls. This piece is Gorgeous as is. However in it's original new condition was plated a shiny nickle. Rolled and perforated toilet paper as we're familiar with today was invented around 1880. Various sources attribute it to the Albany Perforated Wrapping(A.P.W. Paper Co. in 1877. and to the Scott Paper company in 1879 or 1890. On a side note. The Scott Company was too embarrassed to put their name on their product, as the concept of toilet paper was a sensitive subject at ... morethe time, so they customized it for their customers. Before Seth Wheeler of Albany patented his posterior product in 1871. There was already toilet paper in some form or another. But it was usually just individual squares- often medicated- and not a roll like we use now. According to the US patent office. Wheeler patented what was then called perforated wrapping paper(toilet" was a sensitive word in 1871) He patented the idea to have the product wrapped around a central tube in 1891, and is also often credited with patenting a bracket to hold those tubes. His company. Albany Perforated Wrapping Company, was founded in 1878 in Albany, NY. This Paper Holder was salvaged in a barn in nearby Historical Copake. NY.

Antique Vintage American Standard Shower Tub Faucet Set & Diverter Spout 1950's
Here is an American Standard faucet set that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. This is for a tub& shower application. There is knob on the spout that acts as a diverter to turn on the shower. There is also a matching shower pipe escutcheon that's included. The chrome on the handles& caps is in nice shape with very minimal pitting. The stems also have minimal wear to their chrome. The escutcheons are lightly pitted and corroded with some scratches, but fortunately replacements can be found online. The spout has lightly worn plating along with some scuffs and scratches, but overall it's in very good shape. The shower pipe escutcheon is fairly pitted, and the set screw has been replaced with a new stainless steel set screw. Both valves open and close as they should. This is a rare and unique solid brass soap or trinket dish from a collection belonging to my mother. It is old but I don't know the exact year. It depicts a Baby Cupid Mermaid holding a shell. It is either a soap or trinket dish. I have researched the item and found it to be quite rare. Having located only one on an auction site. It is 4 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches high. You are bidding on a very rare and extremely old blue enamel metal sink. These are very hard to find and especially in this color. This sink was taken from a craftsman style home built in the early 1900's. As you can see the sink is in two pieces. Please look at each photo to see the wear and history associated with this sink. The back splash portion was notched out to accommodate the water lines in the old home. On both pieces. There is some rust and clearly some imperfections as well. Hard water stains could be cleaned up I'm sure. Once brought back to life, this sink would look beautiful with antique cast iron brackets in a farm house, vacation cabin home or even a man cave. Please note: the backspalsh is a tad darker blue and is not exactly like the sink. The back piece sits on top of the base and was screwed into the wall and ... morethe base was mouted with cast iron brackets and looked very nice! Very nice Standard double basin cast iron porcelain sink. This sink is in great condition. There is a few chips on the front apron and one on the side. We have applied some bin primer to these three spots to stop the rust. their is some metal markings in the basin and along the back splash. we think these markings are from modern flatware being tossed into the sink and left a small metal mark. They are very hard to see in the pics and they do not remove any of the integrity of the sink. The sink is 60"long. 22"deep, and 18"tall. It has a 6" apron. A 12" Back splash. The basins are 17" X 18" X 7"deep. The faucet mount holes are 8" apart on center. Antique Vtg. Murdock Outdoor Iron Yard Post Water Hydrant Faucet-Spigot/Lever
I love this piece– what a FIND! I have here an antique Murdock outdoor post water hydrant– perfect for your yard. Barn, or garden. What great décor this would make. This piece would be great either refurbished OR left as is– you choose! I do not know if it works. But Murdock Manufacturing has been in business since 1853(160 years! and they still sell these hydrants as well as the parts needed. I’m not sure if this is the exact same model as the ones they make today(I don’t see a model# on this one) But it looks much like the model M-175 that you can see on Murdock’s current website. I don’t know how old this particular model is. The entire post hydrant measures approximately 42 ½” from the very top to the very bottom. And the post opening is approximately 2” in diameter. B2507 Old W. AXFORD Bird Handle Garden Faucet Spigot Bronze or Brass
Offered for sale is this old W. Axford(or H.W. Axford) bird handle garden faucet spigot. It was made of either brass or bronze. It seems to be functioned good but haven't test yet. I think it just needs a rubber faucet O ring. The complete unit stands about 5-3/4"tall and the bird is about 3-1/4"tall and 4-1/2"wide. The bottom inside opening is about 1-1/8"in diameter, and the opening of faucet is about 3/4"inside diameter and 1" outside diameter. It is heavy and almost 2 lbs unpacked. The bottom of the bird is W. AXFORD(probably H.W. AXFORD) please see picture# 11. The faucet on both sides are stamped a trade mark, but there are to faint to me to read, please see pictures 7& 8. Age unknown.

67. 1873 Hassock Style Toilet. Complete& Clean, Very Nice Old Technology Associates Presents Stamped with the patent date of December 30. 1873 in two places. This complete portable toilet, mounted on 4 small working casters, is 16" tall, almost 18" in diameter at the base and 16 1/2" in diameter on the top. The overall appearance is that of a short, wooden Greek column. The wood has a dark finish and it is difficult to to tell the type, but the grain suggests it might be Mahogany. Considering its age, it is in very good condition, noting minor dings and scratches to the wood, a crack to the upper ring which does not affect anything and a slight separation to the finger joint on the top ring, again not affecting anything. The top cover is hinged and the wood slats show some unevenness; the inner top cloth is torn and can ... morebe easily replaced. There is an inner cover that rests on the actual seat over the bowl this shows some minor chipping to one edge. Remove this cover and the seat and bowl are exposed. The seat, also hinged, lifts up and the large bowl can be removed and dumped out the window onto the neighbor's yard. There are two indents in the shelf that holds the bowl to allow you to grasp it easily. An amazing accent piece for the living room. and a real converstation starter! Be the first in the neighborhood to have a working toilet. Holding a vase of flowers or bowl of chips, right next to the 60" Hi-Def TV. Vintage / Antique Oak Wood Toilet Tank & Oak Lid – Wall Mount – Parts or Restore
Welcome and thanks for stopping by. Offered for sale is: OAK TOILET TANK& LIDS– No Liner It measures approx. 22-1/4” wide at the top and approx. 21.5” wide at the bottom. The depth is approx. 7-1/4” at the sides and it measures approx. 15-1/4” high. The detached solid oak top lid measures ¾” thick and the attached solid oak bottom is 1-1/8” thick. The solid oak tank sides are a little over ¾” thick. Refinished and Repaired 30 years ago The detached oak top and attached oak bottom of the toilet tank are antique but my Dad replaced the rounded front corners. Inside tank supports, and the front panels about 30 years ago. He either replaced or re-planed the 3/4" thick side boards. He refinished it at that time with a medium brown stain. My Dad always used several coats of polyurethane as a finishing sealer. The finish is very ... moresmooth not rough. This tank is the wall mount style. He did not attach the top oak lid in case I wanted to use it on a modern porcelain toilet tank instead of the modern porcelain tank lid(see photo) This is a great display item or you could restore it to working condition if desired. Reproductions are still made and parts should be available. The poly finish has some light scratches. The detached antique oak top lid has a protruding corner, and the attached antique oak bottom has a small marred area on the front left side and the curved side edges have some old age splits– see pictures for condition. It is old and has character. It is very nice and not abused. It is very sturdy and heavy. Please read the description. View all the pictures, and ask ALL questions before bidding. Antique Porcelain Parts for Restoration, Sink, Toilet, Hot Cold Faucet Inserts
This is an interesting collection of porcelain parts for a bathroom restoration. The original pull handle measures about 3 inches long. The"X" valve measures about 3.25 inches across. There is also a piece to cover a bolt and a hot and cold faucet insert set also made of porcelain. The inserts are 7/8" I have the inserts in other sizes if you are interested in them. The pieces are in great shape and I do not believe they were ever used. The ones that are stamped are from Czechoslovakia. This is a nice lot of stuff for someone restoring an old bathroom and seeking that vintage look with genuine original parts.

This vintage lot of seven porcelain/ceramic bathroom fixtures is comprised of the following. I've tried to depict the fronts and backs of each piece in the photos but ran out of room. Will do local pick up. As well and send them Parcel Post. Two(2) Wooden Towel Bars and Ceramic/Porcelain Holders- one measures 23-3/4" long and the other is 21-1/4" Both sets of porcelain holders are in very good condition. These fixtures mount on the wall using metal clips. However, we don't have any of the clips. We actually made our own for the items we used in our bathroom renovation. Two(2) Toilet Paper Holders- one is mounted in the wall and the other is mounted on the wall. The in the wall mount has a crack one one side(see photo) It comes with the toilet paper roller. The other consists of two pieces: one where the toilet paper roller ... moresticks into the hole and the other where the roller slides in. These items are in very good condition. There is no toilet paper roller with this item. One(1) cup holder that mounts into the wall. It is in very good condition. One(1) soap dish that mounts into the wall. It is in very good condition but needs cleaned up a bit. One(1) toothbrush holder mounts on to the wall. It has a crack all the way through that has been mended on the far right hand side(see photo) Also. Back piece that mounts into wall is broken off. Nice matched pair of nickel plated brass sink legs/brackets. Usually found on marble sinks. The original steel brackets are also in good condition but a bit rusty as shown.
