Antique Vintage 'Chase' Bath Tub Drain Overflow Assembly 1930's
Here is a very cool and unique old complete'Chase' tub overflow/drain assembly. This was removed from a home that was built in the 1930's. This has an internal stopper. And it's controlled by a lever that moves from side to side. All components are brass. Both the drain flange and strainer have lost most of their plating. But the strainer has a very unique design that I've never seen before(very Deco) The waste shoe has some dings on it from removal, but it is not cracked or distorted(pic 12) The overflow cover plate houses the lever. And both are fairly scratched/scuffed from years of cleaning. The lever itself does have some dings and there is one small gouge on the overflow cover plate(pics 4-8) The action on the lever is nice and smooth, there looks to be a spring-loaded pin that runs against a guide to give it a little ... morebit of drag. It just feels well-made! The set will be broken down into components for shipment. There are no rubber gaskets included. And I would also recommend replacing the packing at all of the compression joints. Antique Plumbing Tub Deep Sink Faucets & Drain Stopper 1" Pipe 3-1/2" On Centers
Antique plumbing tub or deep sink faucet. It is used and in very good antique condition with some minor roughness on the handles which could be replaced. There is some roughness on the metal drain chain plate. The faucets appear to be a cast metal(not iron) as a maginet won't stick to it. I believe it is chrome over brass although I cannot see any brass showing through any where. It is complete with washers and pipe nuts. The pipe ends are 1" and it is 3-1/2" center to center. Here is a nice Kohler tub waste drain/overflow assembly that dates from 1960. This was removed from a Kohler tub that dated from 1960. Also available! This is an internal-stopper type, with a plug that fits into the T-union and operates properly. The plating on the overflow and drain flange are worn and missing in spots. All components appear to be brass. The only part that is not original is the screw that keeps the strainer in place, check all photos for condition. All components are brass except for the overflow cover and control lever. Which are zinc/pot metal. It operates as it should. Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Drain Stopper Assembly Plumbing Part 1920s
Here is an old'Standard' tub drain assembly that was removed from a 1920's-era tub. Faucets that matched this type of drain have the drain control in between the hot/cold knobs(where a diverter control would usually be) This has an internal stopper that plugs the T-union. The clamp that attaches it to the valve body is also included. The plating on the drain flange and strainer is very worn. Basically back down to bare brass(see pics) The drain tube was shot so I replaced it with a new piece of 17 ga. brass and cut it to the same length as the original. I took these out of a Century home that I'm remodeling They was being used until I took them out about a year ago. shows normal wear and oxidation. Gnarls on nuts. Hot and cold cross handles. These are long stems. Which sometimes pass through rim of or are on the exterior of a tub. Handles turn freely, may need washers, etc. Measures: 22-1/2" from the bottom of the drain tee, to the top of drain knob, 10-3/4" center of handle to center of handle with 1-1/2" and 2" OD threads As you can see the theards on top of 2" have been broken off, but the cap does screw on tightly.There is one screw missing in the 1/2" escutcheon& the 2" escutcheon has a couple of dings. Offered are three old claw foot tub bathroom fixtures including white porcelain hot and cold fixtures and white porcelain drain fixture. All three are still attached to original piping and since I know nothing about plumbing. They will be shipped that with piping still attached. The hot and cold porcelain fixture knobs measure approximately 3 5/8" diameter. Porcelain thickness is approximately 11/2" Hot" and"Cold" are marked in black printing. The white porcelain drain pull has"no" printing. Porcelain on drain pull measures approximately 2" in height. Drain piping on drain pull measures approximately 20 1/2" Piping on hot and cold fixtures measures 17" to 17 1/2" This is the measurement of all metal that you see in pictures including the little caps that the porcelain fixtures are attached ... moreto. The porcelain on all three pieces is in nice vintage condition. All pieces do have glaze crazing which can be seen with magnifying glass. The overflow cover is in good condition and still has its original ring for a drain plug on a chain. The mounting bolt for the overflow cover is slightly bent but it dose not impede its function. Here is an American-Standard tub drain flange that was removed from a 1950's-era bath tub(though this style was also used for many years up until the 1960's) This is for the trim piece only. There is no stopper included. There are scuffs and scratches on the finish from years of wear as well as some plating loss here and there. Rare find. These were still boxed and wrapped in the brown paper and shredded newspapers shown, from what I can tell the papers are from 1972. The outside diameter is 1 1/2 inch and inside about 1 1/4. Length is 6" I have 6 of these but the auction is for 1, if you want more let me know and we can work something out.

VTG NOS Plumbing 11" Sink / Tub Drain Plug Stopper Chain
Antique 11" Sink Drain Plug Ball Chain Nickel Over Brass or Stainless Steel New Old Stock Deadstock Stopper chain is straight from the back corner of the stockroom of a closed store that was in business for well over 80 years. This is a large ball chain appropriate for antique sinks. Not the small gauge newer variety. Balls of chain are approximately the size of BB's. A photo is included above with a US dime to show size scale. Chain has both ends on it that are marked"Ball Chain" and measures 11" long. Tested as non-magnetic. So it is old style brass construction with a nickel plated surface or perhaps stainless steel and should last for generations to come. My gut feeling based on apparent age is that the chain is brass, but I could be wrong. Either or; nobody will know the difference as it is period correct and ... moreminty brand new.
