Our guess is this is an antique copper tank ball from an old antique toilet tank. The lever and nut portion are probably steel. Measures 6 inches long. And the ball is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Ball portion appears to be hole-free. Based on the color of the corrosion. Our guess is the ball is copper. Check out my other items! This is a copper ball toilet float. It still has the arm attached to the ball. The ball is grooved. I do not know the manufacturer. It looks like there is a"V" on the end of the ball. It has a nice patina with some areas turning green. From the tip of the arm to the end of the ball is 15" The ball measures 13" around approx. The arm is 9 1/2" from the end of the ball to the tip of the arm. The arm and the attachment seem to be brass but I do not know for sure.

Antique toilet tank, copper lined original hardware, restored, fabulous!
This is an antique copper lined toilet tank that sits on the top of the commode with all of the original fixtures that it came to me with. Everything works although some of the rubber items might need some checking for age. I refinished the piece. It had about 3 coats of various colors of paint. It would be great for someone who is restoring an old house or someone who just wants to add a nostalgic touch. It's the size of a regular toilet tank before the low flow toilets were introduced and should fit any older style toilet. You will need a new gasket between the tank and the toilet. Old Solid Oak. Wooden Toilet Tank. In very good condition for to its age and Usage. Has inner copper tank, Original Wood Lid, Working Flush button/Mechanism, and inside parts(mostly original except float) Wood is in very good condition with no rotting, but has few layers of paint on surface. Tank measures 18" tall, 22" wide, almost 8" deep. Wood is 7/8" thick. Unsure of origin/maker, has some markings on back, mostly specs of tank. Would make a great restoration piece. Haven't tried filling with water, unsure if inner tank will leak at seams. Also selling as a whole, and wont sell parts off of item. Sold AS IS! Low wall Solid Copper tank.Needs to be polished out to be perfect. Has a bent at the top under the lid as well as a small crack. at the top of tank. This will not affect operation and can not be seen under lid. Flush arm needs a new hole drilled in it for drop ball or change to extra arm provided. Included in sale. Antique Solid Copper Toilet Tank with Lid Underneath the old white paint is an antique. Solid copper, wall mount toilet tank with original lid and porcelain(or milk glass) handle. Some internal parts are present as is the brass elbow fitting that threads onto the bottom. In fantastic condition for its age! There is an insignificant bend and a small crack on the top lip of the tank which cannot be seen under the lid and will not affect operation(see pic#11) Sturdy and solid, there are no dents, seams look good but the tank has not been tested, being sold as is. Picture#12 shows a small area where the paint has been removed and the shiny copper is visible. From the very early 1900's, this will make a great restoration or re-purpose piece.
