Cross handles approx. 2 1/2" across. Cold is in better shinier condition than hot. Age appropriate condition The supply pipes measure 3 1/2" on center. Vintage Clawfoot Faucet: GOPHER-porcelain hot & cold valves
Thank you for looking. This is a vintage faucet made of nickel plated brass. The handles are intact. Nothing is cracked or broken. The same goes for the porcelain hot& cold inlays. Engraved on the stem of each hand valve is the name GOPHER. It is estimated to be assembled in the 1940's. There is a 3/4" NPT connection on both hot& cold sides. I have not dismantled the assembly in any way therefore I do not know if the seals work or not. Antique Oak Toilet Tank Professionally Refinished Antique~100 yr old Solid Oak Toilet Tank Up for auction is this very rare antique oak toilet tank. Which was bought from an estate in Spokane, WA. The house was built in 1890. The solid oak wood was hand stripped and professionally refinished. It has a copper liner that appears to be in excellent shape, but always have it checked for leaks before installing. The mounting brackets are original and refinished. The original flushing mechanism was a push-button flush. It has been converted to a handle-flush. A 3"x 2" by 1/8" thick nickel-plated cover plate, easily found at a hardware store, would cover the original screw and flusher holes. In the center of the tank front, the original little brass mounted rubber stopper kept the toilet lid from damaging the oak tank. What a neat ... morefeature back in those days! All internal plumbing parts can be purchased at any hardware store. This whole tank measures: 22" long by 17.5" high by 8" deep. Here is a GENUINE and RARE ANTIQUE powdered soap dispenser circa 1910. When I got it. The nickel plating was almost completely worn away and the parts were fused. I had it restored to full working order and re-nickeled. It is now in fabulous MINT condition! It is brass underneath the nickel and the glass is thick and handblown with little air bubbles in it. The piece is marked and dated as follows: CAPHENIN CHEM CO WAVERLY. IOWA PAT MAR. 8- 10 This soap dispenser is wall mounted. It has a hand lever which releases powdered soap. T o refill with soap. T here is a spring and cam mechanism. You hold the glass globe. Pull towards you to disengage the cam and swivel until the globe is upside down. The elongated spout is 5 inches from the back pipe elbow to the front curved elbow. The Hot porcelain handle is in good condition. A little dirty in parts but the Cold handle is chipped as you can see from the photo. The handles move freely and the spout moves from side to side. There is some wear on the plating. Beautiful Antique/Vintage bathroom faucet. Solid brass construction. Even the valves are brass. This faucet will last forever. Not like the cheap fixtures they make today. The underside has an S stamped in it. My research leads me to think it is a Sherle Wagner. She is a well know designer from NY. She is still in business and you can hew her website. I am not an expert so please don't take my word for it. The faucet is very heavy. Is in great shape. Has a few scratches but they are small and I couldn't get a picture of them. There is a perfect amount of patina on it. The rubber seals inside are in great shape. Handles still function very well. This is a very nice faucet. It will be the centerpiece of any bathroom.
