Vintage SCHOOL PULL DOWN MAP UNITED STATES Denoyer-Geppert wall 1962
This is a classic'pull down' school map from 1962. This map is of the United States. With details of Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. It is paper on a canvas backing. There are creases and wrinkles, but no tears in the paper. The color is clean and sharp. There is some fraying along the edges, and some paint, stains and tears in the vinyl leader strip below the map. There is some water staining on the canvas backing, but it does not appear to have come through.

Vintage A M WALZER CO Map of United States Inlay Puzzle VTG Puzzle
Here is a vintage cardboard inlay puzzle map. This is in very good condition for its age. I would guess this is from 1950's. It is approx. 11 X 14. It has the corner in the top right corner scuffed. A couple of the pieces might have a small corner that has a corner tore but nothing that stands out. There is a small crease in the cardboard frame on the bottom middle. For some reason someone put a staple in the top center just above where it says United. I don't know why because the frame seems secure. Maybe precaution. The pieces all fit tight. This auction is for an old pull down map. It is of the USA. I would guess it to be 50's or 60's. Sorry the pictures were not very good. I will try and take some more. It measures approx. 48 inches tall and 5 feet 4 inches wide. It is made by Cram's. The map is on the bar but I do not have the hanging brackets. The map has some condition issues at the bottom and the sides, looks like some water damage, for the most the part the colors are good and bright in the actual map. The puzzle includes the year that each state became part of the United States. One flaw is that Connecticut is missing as seen in the last picture. Below is information regarding the SIFO Company. The Sifo Company(which did business as Sifo's Toys and The Sifo Novelty Company) was a maker of children's toys located in St. Paul. MN that was in business from 1944 until 1975.
