These maps were all'tipped in' to the atlas. Which means they can easily be removed as a single sheet with a fold in the centre. Condition Very good. The colors are bright and fresh. Check out this sweet vintage topographical map of Portland. PA& NJ! Printed in 1971 by the United States Department of Interior, this wonderful map focuses specifically on the Pennsylvania& New Jersey Portland Quadrangle. We absolutely love the bold green, blue and brown coloring of the map, especially on the left side of the map, where the bright blue Delaware River cuts through the landscape. Nice and large, this map would be perfect for framing! Projection Type: Polyconic Projection Measurements: Approximately 26.75” long x 21.75" wide Scale: 1:24000 Item Condition: great vintage condition! Paper has begun yellowing slightly with age and the colors are still wonderfully bold and vivid. Chart is lightly soiled near the upper right corner. With some light brown spots in those areas. Map has typical wear caused by use, such as ... moresmall creases, bends and rough edges. The lower right hand corner of the chart is considerably rippled and has some light brown liquid stains along the edge. Finally, there are two small tears along the map's edges, one near the upper left corner and the other near the lower right corner. We consider both to be minor and if you choose to frame this piece they most likely won't be visible. All in all a wonderful piece, perfect for framing!

LISTING DETAILS: My old map that I would like to sell measures 38ins by 25ins and is the 2nd edition Ordnance Survey map. Sruveyed in 1880 and revised in 1905, and printed in 1907. It shows the houses, trees, railway, river& other features. The extremities are- Top left fields/meadows to the north of the main road into the village(north of the GER railway) top right field/meadow to the north east of St Michael's Church, bottom left dykes leading to a Boat House south of the Broad, bottom right fields/meadows to south of the school. The map shows the railway splitting, one branch going to Acle and the other towards Strumpshaw Marsh. All the area at the bottom of the map, mainly south of the river Yare has'Liable to Flood' on it. The part of the map I have photo'd shows the tear at the top which has been repaired with sellotape, but part of the sellotape has dried out so it has parted again, but would be repairable and all the map is there. There are another 4 or 5 small tears around the edges, a couple can be seen in the photo. Only one of these gets any way into the map and then for about an inch. Vintage Antique 1853 U.S. Coast Survey Map City of San Francisco& Vicinity. Measures 27 1/2" x 20" We do not know if this is a reprint or original. There are no markings that we see that indicate its a reprint. When magnified the paper has a rough texture not smooth. The ink is solid not dotted. There is some staining or discoloration along the edge.

This is a lot of 3 Louisiana parish soil maps for Caddo Parish- Vivian Sheet. Caddo Parish- Shreveport Sheet. And De Soto Parish. The maps are dated 1904 and 1905. But this may be the original year the maps were projected and designed rather than the actual year of production. Each map came folded in a rectangular shape about 9 x 5 inches. Which is how you will receive them. You can use that to multiply the rectangular segments on each pictured map if you require full dimensions. These maps cam from a University set that I bought as a local auction lot. General disclaimer: I am listing around 180 soil maps from all around the US. There is wear. Tears and sometimes ... morewater damage on some of these maps. Most of these issues are visible in the pictures or noted in this description if present on a map. However, some of these are in pristine condition.
